The place had just had a serious cleaning and the indoor pool was one place cleared out. Lexi had decided to go for a swim today and invited Jayce to come along. All after she had slept for a few hours since she had worked last night. Thankfully she didn’t work tonight or tomorrow night so she could actually do things. Tomorrow would probably be dedicated to running the few errands she had to do then who knows? Right now Lexi was sort of living in the day to day routine of things. Aside from work she really didn’t plan anything. She went with the flow. Hence her texting Jayce to come by Daniel’s beach house for a swim. Daniel and Leila were too busy being newlyweds anyways what Lexi was u p to. She figured they could order something later so had just stocked up the fridge with some drinks and random snacks. This was her hide away per say. If she really needed to get away from her cousin, this is where she could come. None of her personal items were left behind so she brought those back and forth. They were tossed about on the bed in what was considered her room. She took off her dress before she went and took a shower with her hair clipped up. The shower was more to relax her muscles. Last night had been a particularly stressful night so she was slightly tense. A good swim would help with it as well. Once her body was dry she had slipped the bathing suit on and grabbed a towel before she headed down with her phone in hand. Lexi sent a text to Jayce with the security code and let him know she’d already be swimming. With her phone tossed on one of the chairs, Lexi went to the deep end and dove in. the water felt cool when first going in but considering the place was heated-just not boiling-the cold feeling passed quickly. She stayed under until her lungs burned then came up for air as she pushed her hair back. When younger Lexi was an avid swimmer. She loved to just do laps in the pool just to push herself. As soon as she felt good enough, Lexi began to move her arms on either side of her body as she moved from one end of the pool to the other. The only thing that stopped her was when she felt arms around her waist. She sputtered out water as she threw her head back and laughed. ”Seriously? You could’ve given me a hear attack!” Lexi tried to swim away but he had a firm grip on her which made her laugh harder. ”Ok, ok I give! When he woke up and got the text from Lexi he smiled as he read it. She was going to be off all day today and tomorrow? She was going to be at her beach house? Well that was a nice invitation for him to come over. He went in and took a shower to get ready for the date. They were going to have some fun today just hanging out. Stepping out of the shower he dried off and walked into the closet and grabbed some clothes and pulled them on. Thankfully he had today and tomorrow off. They would be able to spend the next forty-eight hours together if she wanted to. It was nice that they were bonding on deeper than a friendship level. Maybe this was what they needed for a long time? They were finally moving on and seeking comfort in one another.

Parking outside of the mansion he went exactly where she told him and got the spare key to the house and unlocked the door. Walking in he let out a low whistle as he looked the place over. Man it was beautiful here. Locking the house back he made his way through looking for her. Where could she be at? Finding a room with girls’ clothes in it he smiled knowing it must be her room from when she lived here all the time. Then again, why were there clothes on the floor? She must be in the shower. Walking in there he didn’t spot her. Well this was weird.

Walking through the house he finally exited into the huge indoor pool area. That was when he spotted her swimming laps in the pool. Well damn! He had no idea he would need a swim suit for today. As she swam he sat there and watched her with a smile on his face. When it looked like she was slowing down he smiled and undressed leaving all his clothes on one of the chairs that was there.

Slipping into the water he made sure to move silently so she wouldn’t notice that he was in there with her. When she was close enough and turned away from him he slipped his arms around her middle resting his hands on her tummy. A smile on his lips as he pulled her to his chest. “I’m sorry Lexi.” Leaning in he kisses her neck and smiles as she tries to get away from him. His hold on her only tightening to keep her there. When she asks what he wants he smiles as he lets his hands wonder over her body. Moving so he could look into her eyes he slipped his arms around her once more an grinned. “The swim suit off of you. This way we can swim naked.” A smile plays on his lips as his hands reach up behind her neck to play with the strings that were tied holding her swim suit up and on.

That didn’t mean she’d give in quite so easily, though. She could’ve tried harder but there would be no fun in that. ”No you’re not. If you were sorry you wouldn’t keep doing it.” Jayce did like to sneak attack her from behind. He’d press a kiss to her neck or pull her close and whisper something to her. Usually they were someplace somewhat secluded as Lexi still wasn’t ready to let everyone know about their...whatever this was yet. They weren’t exactly dating so she couldn’t call him her boyfriend. They were just slightly more then friends but she couldn’t exactly call him her friend with benefits. That was just a million levels of inappropriate. And Daniel and Troy would kill Jayce-quite literally. Lexi moved in the water with him so they were face to face. As she wrapped her arms around his neck she became very aware of the fact that he had nothing on to swim in. The man was also intent on getting Lexi to join him. Her hands went up to tug on his arms gently. ”Wow apparently guys really do only think about is getting a woman naked. I mean what if my cousin were to come here for some reason, hm? I mean just you naked I can explain as you having no swim clothes but both of us naked? Well that just can’t be explained.” In truth, Lexi was very self conscious. If it weren’t for being caught up in the heat of the moment, she’d want the lights turned off when they went a tossing about in the sheets. But by that time her mind was usually so fogged by her physical wants that she forgot about it. When aware of what was going on, she hardly just laid around naked. Usually she had a sheet or blanket draped over her or got up to get ready for the day. Jayce usually tried to boost her confidence in little ways but it just wouldn’t work. Lexi had put on a few pounds with the pregnancy-she had gotten through six months after all-and then all the months she spent in bed depressed didn’t help. Not just after losing Zachary but after losing Dean as well. While she wasn’t obese, she wasn’t unaware that she was a little plumper then some girls out there. And she had the stretch marks from her pregnancy. Lexi was just all around uncomfortable in her skin. Part of it probably had to do with her awful moods but mostly she just saw herself as unattractive. Still, she put on a smile and acted like those thoughts never crossed her mind. ”How was work last night? Anything crazy happen?” Even if they were screwing around, they were friends first and foremost. And friends cared about one another-checked in with one another. A smile came onto his face as he placed kisses along her neck and she spoke up. “I really am sorry, I do love the way you back into me and relax though when you realize it’s me.” That was something he couldn’t help but like. She was an amazing woman and he loved being around her. She was warm, loving, caring and beautiful. The perfect woman for anyone to be with. Every fiber of his being was screaming to just hold and be with her right now. Besides being this close of friends she should have been expecting him to do something like this when she had clearly invited him over to join her.

Looking into her eyes when she finally turned around he smiled and stroked her hair back to hook it behind her ears. She was so beautiful. When her hands tugged at his he moved them so his hands were on her sides as he held her to him. A small laugh left his lips as she pulled her closer to him. “Can you blame me for wanting to see the most beautiful woman in the world naked?” Leaning in he quickly captured her lips and then smiled. “It wouldn’t be that hard to tell him you lost a bet and now you have to skinny dip too.” Gently he ran his hands up her back pressing her firmly against him. His voice low as he whispered seductively into her ear. “When was the last time you did something darling like this?” Gingerly his lips brushed her cheek as his hands rubbed her tummy gently.

She was a beautiful woman and shouldn’t be worried what she looked like naked. He couldn’t help but enjoy taking in the sight of her when they were together the other night. She had an amazing body and he made damn sure to let her know that he loved every inch of it. Slipping his arms around her again he smiled as he rested his forehead against hers as he gazed into her eyes. Something about her just made him loosen up and be himself. Was it because they were both nerds and he felt comfortable around her?

When she asked about work he sighed and leaned against her. Oh what had happened last night? “Well there was a crazy crack head running down the street who was butt naked. They wouldn’t come peacefully so I had to tase them. Then there was the guy who was robbing the gas station….” His eyes unfocused as he remembered what happened. A shiver racing through his body as he looked down in shame. “He’s in the hospital with a gunshot to the arm. I don’t know if he was high on something or what but he tried shooting at me. I thought I was going to die.” He really shouldn’t have told her about that last part. Shaking his head he put a smile on his face and looked into her eyes as his hand came up to stroke her cheek. “How was work last night?”

The look was more playful then anything. She liked to be free and have fun naturally. Half the time it seemed forced since her husband’s death for the first time in awhile she was just having fun. Most of it was behind closed doors in his apartment, out of town or now here. Lexi was still cautious in case people got the wrong idea, though they’d be partially right. Lexi ran her hands up Jayce’s arms to grip at his shoulders as her gaze went all over his face. He was a good man-the kind of man every girl dreamed of. He was nothing but kind to her, did whatever he could to make her smile and always had a compliment ready-and not just when they were in bed. If Lexi were willing she could take this further but she just wasn’t ready. Who knew when she would be? They had only been messing around for a little while and she wanted to feel this out some more. Lexi wanted to be sure she could handle being serious with someone-anyone-before the subject could be broached by either of them. She hadn’t so much been on a date since Dean’s death so diving head first into something serious just sounded overwhelming to the young lady. She pursed her lips in amusement as her eyes shined. ”No you just want me naked so you can take me by surprise.” Lexi enjoyed this banter as it made her laugh and her heart rate pick up. Her body was flush to his as their lips brushed briefly and his hands moved along her back. A soft sigh left her lips as she rolled her eyes. ”Nope not convinced,” was giggled out. Her gaze went sideways as his hot breath danced over her ear and sent a shiver down her spine. A coy shimle played on her lips as she turned to just graze over his lips but not quite kiss him. ”Fine but you have to remove it. I can’t pull it down off my legs.” Lexi knew he’d be unable to resist peeling the one piece off her. She could already tell he would be unable to resist. Lexi’s fingertips lazily drew random patterns along the skin of his shoulder and just slightly down his back as she looked at him. Jayce had this way of looking at her deeply-like he was drinking in every ounce of her body and soul. It set her veins on fire as her heart fluttered out of control. It had been too long since someone looked at her like she was the most delectable thing in the world. Her very core practically trembled when he looked at her like this. A breath that seemed unable to escape found it’s way out as his eye sight broke in recalling his day. Lexi listened intently and her stomach dropped. What was it with the stupid men in her life who had risky jobs telling her that they could’ve gotten killed. Lexi knew death was inevitable but after losing two people she cherished so very deeply for-her son and her husband-the thought of losing anyone else right now terrified her. Especially Troy and Jayce as they had a dangerous job working as police officers. She bit down on her lip as she gazed down between them, through the water to the bottom of the pool. ”I’m glad you’re ok…” Lexi meekly let out. That smile did nothing to ease her worries but she tried to brush them off. It was his job and she couldn’t worry about him all the time. ”I was up helping in a surgery last night. One of the patients from the car accidents that are in a coma got an infection so we had to take care of it. They had wanted to wait until morning but they took a sudden turn for the worse so we had to do it last night. There were only three of us nurses trained in surgery so we were automatically pulled. Which is why I missed you bringing in that robber. Otherwise I would’ve come to at least say hi.” When at each of their jobs they had to hold back and be appropriate. There were nights it was hard, especially if the two had spent the day together, but they managed just fine. She didn’t think anyone suspected them. Lexi reached up to brush his hair back from his forehead before she moved to lean against his shoulder. She felt the overwhelming urge to just be held. Around this time of year that’s often what she wanted-to be held. In just over a month, though not by much, would be March 27th, which is why her moods would vary so much for the next few weeks. And hearing Jayce say he thought he was going to die didn’t help. The way she was acting cross with him made a smile grow on his face again. Oh the poor girl wasn’t able to really stay cross with him was she? Not by the playful look on her face she couldn’t. Gently he continued t rub her tummy as he placed random kisses on her neck. “If you don’t want me to do it anymore then I guess I won’t.” He playfully sighed out in defeat. He would let her win this time and well, any other time she wished to win. Now that they were going to be able to have fun together he couldn’t help but plan out where they were going to next. Well tomorrow they could go somewhere, but today they could stay here.

A shiver ran through his body as she ran her hands up to his shoulders. Was it sad that he was falling for his dead brothers’ wife? There didn’t seem to be anything wrong with it. She was beautiful and part of the family and part of him. Holding her close to him he could feel his blood rushing through his body faster as he pressed closer to her.

As they started to tease he smiled as he looked into her eyes. “Would you be mad if I took you by surprise?” This teasing had somehow become part of who they were. It was kind of nice to be able to enjoy and talk like this around one another. Pressing against her as she told him she wasn’t convinced he smiled and licked her cheek playfully. Oh he was going to get her. The minute he felt her lips graze near his he gasped out sharply. Oh she was a tease. “I’ll pull it off you darling.” His hands ran up her stomach, to her chest and then finally up behind her neck to the strings. His eyes glanced down as her top fell down exposing her.

When her fingers traced on his shoulder he shivered. His hands running down her body pulling her suit off of her. When it got down low he smiled as he picked her up into his arms so he was cradling her above the water. Leaning in he placed a kiss to her belly as his hand ran down low and slipped her swimsuit off and he tossed it out of the pool. Once done he set her back into the water and pulled her close to him.

Looking into her eyes was like looking into her soul. As he told her his story about what happened last night his hold on her tightened. A smile came to his lips and his hand came up to cup her cheek. “You’re not going to lose me, Lexi. I’m going to stay with you.” Leaning in he placed a tender kiss to her lips. No way was he going anywhere. She needed him and he was going to be here for her. Looking into her eyes he smiled as he held onto her. “It’s okay. I should have come by to see you only if it was looking in the window.” He really did miss her last night.

As she clung onto him he held her close and made his way to the edge of the pool. Something about this moment told him that she just wanted to be held onto. Climbing out of the pool he wrapped her legs around him as he went to one of the lounge chairs. He propped the back up so they would be able to sit up. Moving he sat down in the chair and allowed her to straddle his lap as he pulled her in just holding her. Leaning back and looking into her eyes he leaned forward and brought her into another soft tender kiss. She needed some reassurance that he wasn’t going to go anywhere on her.

She was saying she didn’t want a relationship but many of the things she was doing could be interpreted that she did. She saw it simply as them being friends since they were friends with benefits. But...it was fire none the less. Between how they were connected prior to now and then their new bonds, she could get really hurt. Or find out love could be found elsewhere. Either way, Lexi’s heart was on the line. That is if she let the walls come back down. Right now she was too scared to. Jayce was a comfortable distance emotionally despite being close to her. There were just certain things no one knew or had to know. Lexi just wanted contact with him. She held him close and traced ideal patterns. She could tell he was getting relaxed(mostly so) by her touch. She continued ot relax into him as she moved to meet his gaze once again. A chuckle left her lips. ”Depends. Some surprises just aren’t welcomed.” Lexi pulled back as she screwed up her face. ”Ew like that! You liking me is not welcomed you jerk.” Lexi took his head and pushed it under the water briefly. If anyone walked in on them that’d be bad but she was really enjoying herself. How could anyone get mad at that? Lexi rarely allowed herself any true fun with anyone besides family. Sure, Jayce could be dubbed “family” but with her changing her name, didn’t that severe that tie? Confusing, really. Lexi’s eyes drifted shut as his hands ran along her body. He slowly undid the strings of her bathing suit. Because of the water, her suit easily fell down. What didn’t fall down on it’s own, Jayce removed. An enjoyable shiver went down her spine as she felt his fingertips on her smooth skin. Lexi let out a melodic laugh as he scooped her up into his arms. Lexi watched his every movement as she moved her hips to allow him to slide the tight swimsuit off. Her head fell backwards as his lips grazed her stomach-the area she hated the most. But he had a way of making it feel like there was no reason to be worried at all. It was amazing. As she fell back into his grasp, she tried her best to keep her expressions blank. Lexi hated to worry people. Even as he spoke up, she couldn’t look at him. ”None of us can promise anything like that, Jayce. Sometimes things just happen.” Lexi shrugged before she leaned her head down. Lexi saw it every day. Kids who drove drink and said the had no idea how bad things could get in that state of impairment. Even grown men and women doing stupid stuff like that or been worse. Lexi saw it often enough in the Emergency Room that she kept her guard up. Lexi clung onto Jayce, unsure of what he was doing. When he took then out of the pool, a chill went over her body despite the room being heated. She gripped him tightly while he moved about. She tried to wiggle free, but he held a firm grip on her. Lexi didn’t protest much more after that. Before she settled against him, she reached for a towel to lay over her back and essentially over them. Lexi’s hands traveled down to grip at his sides until she felt him move. She moved up to meet his sweet kiss, not breaking away from it. Lexi let out a soft sigh as their lips parted but her head didn’t move too far way. ”I’m tired of feeling like this.” Lexi adjusted herself further downwards so her head could rest in the crook of his neck. “I guess I can stop scaring you then.” He smiles as he strokes her tummy tenderly while he holds her to him. If there was one thing he could have in this world it would be to spend every day like this with Lexi. There was nothing wrong with him spending this kind of time with his once sister-in-law. There was one thing that they had talked about and well the fact that it seemed like feelings were starting to come into play could be taken as a bad sign. What made it worse was the mixed signals that Lexi was throwing out to him all the time. If she kept throwing these kinds of signals around then one day he was going to get up the nerve and ask her to be his. There was nothing wrong with it so no one needed to judge!

The way they were holding onto one another right now and both relaxing because of one another’s touch was another signal one could interpret as things were changing in their growing relationship. It was turning more from being a family comforting one another, to the friends with benefits thing into a full blown relationship now. At least on the surface to someone who didn’t know them it would seem that way. “Well I then I’ll just have to give you a surprise you’ll like.” Smiling deviously at her he leaned in and licked her on the cheek. A laugh escaping his lips as she spoke up, his hands tenderly stroking her sides as he leaned in close and whispered so only she could hear him. “After everything we’ve done you think that is ew?” His words teasing with a hint of seductive undertone to them.

As he slowly removed her swimsuit he sighed out in content looking at her. She was the most beautiful woman on the planet and she was all his. Well with their agreement she could technically go out and see other guys if she wanted but that didn’t mean he couldn’t be jealous over it. The way she moved with him as he removed her swimsuit made a smile slip onto his lips. When he kissed her tummy he sighed before leaning in and kissing it again. As he stated before, she was so beautiful he couldn’t help but be happy. She was the perfect package anyone could ever ask for!

His hand rested on her cheek as he promised her that he would never leave her. Nothing on this planet could change the fact that he would always be there for her. “I can promise you because I’ll fight tooth and nail to come back to you. I promise I’ll never leave you alone.” His eyes locked with hers as the burning fire shone in his eyes. There was no way anyone was going to take him away from her. He would be there for her forever or as long as she wished him to be in her life. Nothing would ever change that fact.

While she clung to him he carried them to a chair where they could just hole on another and forget about everything that was going on in the world. All that mattered was them in the here and now. When they were covered he smiled up at her looking into her eyes as he felt her hands slip to his sides. As the kiss broke he felt her lips still near his and his eyes opened a little to look at her as she spoke at her. His hand stroked her cheek softly as he nodded. “You don’t have to feel like this anymore. We have one another.” His fingers ran into her hair as he gently ran his fingers through is then leaned back holding her closer to him as she rested her head. His hands coming to a rest on her hips as his eyes closed again. All they needed was one another and no one else.

She was toying with a man’s emotions without realizing it but she had always been a bit on the naïve side of things. She had been unaware Dean even liked her until he had asked her out. And she had no idea that Jayce had liked her back in their school years either. Nor did she realize the depth of what he was currently feeling. Lexi herself was ignoring her own conflicting feelings. She hadn’t really felt anything for anyone since Dean’s death so anything new was confusing and not something she wanted to face just yet. A wide grin appeared. ”Like taking me to PortCon this summer. I’ve been working on my outfit all year.” Lexi was such a dork at times. Even when she had a very attractive man before her, she could suddenly take a turn for the nerdy side. Then again, Jayce was just like her. As she wiped at her face, she rolled her eyes. A giggle left her lips as she craned her neck away from him slightly. His lips anywhere near her ears drove her crazy. Still, she turned to at least make eye contact. ”That is different. You’re not being annoying then.” A gentle kiss was pressed to his jaw line before she nuzzled against his cheek. Lexi’s body tightened as Jayce littered a few kisses along her stomach. It wasn’t that she was tense because she disliked it. Quite the opposite, actually. She enjoyed having him this close to her. It was probably wrong to enjoy his presence this much but she couldn’t help it. Not just when his lips grazed her porcelain skin but as his hard form pressed against her soft one. A content sigh left her lips before her face screwed up. With her chin on his shoulder, she was able to keep her eyes from his until he egged her to look at him. After she processed his words, all Lexi could do was nod at him. Things were taking an interesting turn. An intimate turn. Despite them having been intimate in the physical sense, now they were getting intimate on an emotional level. And it kept taking a turn in that direction. Lexi swallowed a lump as she scanned all along his face. There was a new look in his eyes. Ones that terrified and thrilled her all at once. Lexi wasn’t sure what she wanted out of this other then the arrangement they already ahd. Despite that, something was slowly changing. Even if she was closed off the the idea at this time, that didn’t mean things weren’t turned in that direction. Lexi didn’t want to talk anymore. She mouth her mouth back down to gently capture his once again. Both her hands went to cusp around his heck as she pushed herself close to his body. There was no burning heat or intense eagerness. This time her kiss was different-slow and tender. “I figured it would be as much!” He laughed and held closer to him. There was something there between them that was changing. He couldn’t quite place what was going on but there was something going on between them. He thought about it then mentally yelled at himself for it. Maybe he shouldn’t think about this way too much. It would just screw with his emotions and that was something they didn’t need to have happen at all. It would mess up the dynamic of what was going on with them. That and there was nothing wrong with what was going on between them. That was unless the memory of his brother came back to haunt them.

When she smiled and spoke up about going to PortCon his own smile spread on his lips as she geeked out. “You already have your costume ready? Does this mean you’re going to help me?” He thought about it and then grinned. “Who are you going as and does this mean we can go in matching costumes?” While she moved her neck away from him he laughed as he leaned in trying to kiss it. “So I’m less annoying in bed?” With a grin bhe tenderly pokes her tummy before catching her neck and kisses it after she kissed his jaw and nuzzled his cheek.

Feeling the way her body reacted to his kisses on her tummy he couldn’t help but smile. Now something was egging him on in continuing to press these kisses to her body. Even if her flesh tasted chlorine he was going to keep pressing as many kisses to her tummy as he could. When the subject finally changed he couldn’t help but blush after what happened. The conversation was turning more and more intimate and it was becoming something different between them. It was a feeling he actually wanted to continue to feel.

When it continued to turn in the romantic more than a friend’s relationship into that actual relationship with attached feelings he felt a warmth spreading through his whole body. Looking into her eyes he smiled and sighed. He should forget that feeling and just continue on with what was going on but he couldn’t. The door was opened and there was no way that anything could ever close the door again.

As her mouth found its way back to his he sighed in content as he kissed her deeply. His tongue slipping from his mouth into hers to explore. When she pressed herself against him he gasped and smiled into the kiss. His hands slipped onto her sides as he held her close. His eyes closed as he felt everything in this kiss change. She did it fairly often these days. Some people would probably be amazed by it. It’s why she was able to pass over whatever was changing between her and Jayce. She felt like she had to. She really wasn’t ready for anything else. Or maybe she was and she was just fooling herself. She had a tendency to do things like that as well. Either way, Lexi could only fool herself for so long before everything caught up with her. One day, eventually, she’d have to open her heart up to love again. Honestly, who better then Jayce? He was perfect in every way. Especially for someone so deeply hurt as her. He did not push her in any way and she loved that about him. That didn’t change the fact she could tell there was something underneath changing and she was ignoring it for one reason or another. ”I’m going as Black Canary.” Lexi chuckled. She hadn’t had anyone to go to PortCon with in awhile so this would be something new. It’d be welcomed. ”It’s going to be in July! That’s about four and a half months. To put something decent together we’d have to work like mad men. I don’t do cosplay half assed and you know that.” Geek girl through and through. Some people were often surprised when they found that out but she never cared. She had fun with it. She embraced this side of her. Jayce encouraged Lexi to embrace it and the two had fun. With a pause she shrugged. ”I suppose you can go as the Green Arrow?” matching costumes. Definitely a new one for her. Lexi allowed his better access to her neck. Part of her reluctantly, part of her willingly. ”No, you are not annoying in bed.” Lexi’s eyes drifted half closed. She loved the way Jayce made her feel. How he stirred a deep desire in her whenever he touched her body, be it with his lips or his hands. How just the thought of him sent little flutters along her skin and deep within her very being. That was not something she’d redily admit to anyone least they take it the wrong way. They might think she was falling in love with him. And maybe she was but she just refused to admit it. His reaction to her touch always gave her satisfaction. This time it just fueled her desire more then making her feel like she was dominating. Her nose rubbed along his as she opened her eyes to stare at him. Lexi shifted so she could fall on all of him, all without breaking eye contact. Lexi had grazed them over that emotional line without even realizing it. She held her body still a moment against his, taking in the moment as her heart sped out of control. Sitting still was a delicious torture for her she pressed herself close to Jayce. Lexi began to move when she captured his lips in a kiss. So she was going as Black Canary for PortCon? Well he was going to have to have a badass costume so they could be the team that everyone wanted to be. Maybe they would even win some of the costume awards that were given away. They only had four months so they would have to make this a rush job but make it look amazing! “I know, we need something good but still be able to finish it in enough time.” His eyes looked into hers as they sat there thinking about what he could go as. When she spoke up he smiled and leaned in pressing a swift kiss to her lips. “I’d love to go as the Green Arrow to your Black Canary.” They could win the best couple award!

When she allowed him better access to her neck he smirked and continued to kiss, lick and suck on her soft sweet flesh until an angry red mark was left behind. Smiling at his handiwork he leaned back and looked into her eyes. “I’m glad you don’t think I’m annoying then.” The way they teased one another was so amazing he couldn’t help but enjoy it. His hands ran up her sides and then onto her back as he leaned in once more and placed a kiss to her lips. The way she radiated a nice warm feeling to him made him love having her in his arms. She was the best friend anyone could ever ask for.

The feelings that were stirring inside of him made the line in his mind blur and where they were at in relation to that line. For all he knew that line was already crossed and they were moving into a deeper relationship than they even realized.

As they tenderly kissed and her fingers ran down his neck softly a shiver raced through his spine and body. His body pressed closer to hers as he deepened the kiss once more and rested his hands on her sides. There was something going on between them and it felt good….almost like it was right. Feeling her grind and her heat moving along him he let out a small whimper knowing she loved to tease him. When his eyes opened he rubbed his nose back against hers and then looked deep into her beautiful eyes. Once she fell onto him he looked into her eyes knowing that the line seemed to just disappear completely off the face of the planet. The way she seemed to love torturing him by sitting still made him smile as he leaned in once more capturing her lips.

When he pulled back his hands slipped up her back and pressed her close to him. The second she captured his lips again and started moving he bit back a sharp gasp. His focus was only on her lips as he kissed her and how loving it was…..

The next morning when he woke up he felt that both his arms were gently encircling Lexi holding her to him as they slept. With a smile he woke up remembering the night before. His hands came to a rest on her tummy and he moved nuzzling his face against the back of her neck taking in the sweet smell of her hair. As everything that happened last night came back to him he remembered how it had been so sweet, slow, loving, tender and passion filled. What was happening to them? “Morning Lexi.” He gently whispered into her ear.

For now she sort of ignored it, not wanting to read into things too much. She didn’t want to see something more when there really asn’t. that wasn’t what they had agreed to after all since Lexi needed something nice and easy, not fast paced. Still, she kept up the conversation despite this little feeling in the back of her mind. ”I can sew well enough but some pieces we might have to order. Depends on what it is you decide to do.” lexi was talented with a sewing machine. Actually, she was talented in many things but didn’t reveal it often. Growing up had been lonely for her as her parents had sheltered her so she had learned to do a lot of various things. Some people may even be shocked to hear she could sew clothes when she had mostly unlimited funds before her. ”Well, Green Arrow should be easy enough to make. Tomorrow we can go shopping for the fabrics. There’s a place the next town over which has more of s selection then the store here.” When Jayce ran his hands up her back it arched as she reacted to his touch. He could set every nerve on fire with the slightest graze it seemed. This time with him was completely different. There was more emotions involved then normal but Lexi didn’t stop it. Yes, she couldn’t deny she felt something for Jayce. She wasn’t in love but she could see herself being happy with him if they ever got serious. That was evident in the way she kissed im and moved her body against his. He seemed to feel the same way about the moment, perhaps about Lexi, as he kept pressing his lips to hers. Lexi would let out gentle noises of how he was making her feel against his lips. The roughness and the feeling like they had to be extremely vocal was gone. Right now it was all about how they made one another feel as they caressed and kissed one another-and not in a heated way. No, everything was completely and utterly loving… Lexi shifted under the thin blanket she slept under. She was aware of Jayce as he pulled closer to her and nuzzled into her hair. She let out a soft sigh of contentment as she slowly pulled herself from the fuzzy edges of sleep. ”Morning,” she let out softly as she turned her body so she could face him. Her own arms went around his body as she tucked her head under his chin, her legs entangling with his. They had exhausted one another last night but it had been different. Gone was the heat of just wanting to go without much thought. No, last night they had taken their time with one another. It was amazing. Lexi enjoyed every moment of it until she fell asleep in his arms. With the feel of his hands on her back she wiggled against him before she chuckled. ”I think we only have some Pop Tarts for breakfast. We don’t keep very much food here anymore.” Lexi still didn’t open her eyes, enjoying laying in Jayce’s arms like this. She could stay like this all day and really, nothing was stopping them. This was the best day ever! They were going to be going to the con together and he was dead set on going as the Green Arrow. Smiling at her he nods his head enthusiastically. “Well it’s set, I’m going to go as the Green Arrow. We can get and order everything that’s needed and hopefully between your skills and mine we can get it done before times up.” This was going to be the best trip they ever went on. A smile came to his lips as he thought about everything that was going to happen there. As she mentions about having to go shopping in the next town over he nods his head. “What time tomorrow should I pick you up?” They would be able to get a head start and leave early that way they can get back and get to work. He would have to make a stop at a hunting or sporting goods store so he can get a bow and start modifying it.

The tender touches that they made were very enticing and drew out something brand new and all together amazing inside of him. It was a feeling that he was growing to love and want to have around more and more every second he felt it. Everything that was going on was a brand new feeling and it needed to continue. It was like it stopped then he would die. The way it felt like their hearts were beating as one was an amazing feeling to have too. His lips pressing to hers so tender he couldn’t help but feel a shiver run through his spine. Everything was tender and loving…something new….

In the morning his arms stayed slipped around her middle and he stayed close to her. No one was going to find them were they? No, Daniel and Leila were away and this place was all to themselves. His hand gently stroked her tummy as they laid there. This was the most perfect woman on the planet and he was with her. “Did you sleep well?” When she turned and faced him he slipped a soft sweet good morning kiss in there and smiled. As she rested her head under his chin he smiles and entangled his body with hers once more. The wonderfulness of last night returned to him as he held her and he sighed in content. This was where he wanted to be and he loved it here. The way he held her when she fell asleep and continued to hold her all night long made him feel much better.

As she wiggled against him he gasped and sighed as she spoke about breakfast. Leaning in he breathed gently into her ear as he answered. “If you keep squirming like that I’m going to forget all about breakfast and we’ll have a repeat of last night.” His words teasing but true as he placed a kiss to her cheek. All thoughts about going to the next town over were lost on him as his fingers gently stroked up from the small of her back to her shoulders and then back down. This was the life. Staying here tangled up holding one another.

Fine me swiping the key for this place so we could have it all o ourselves tonight just seems to be in vain. I’ll have plenty of fun by myself.” She emphasized myself with a suggested raising and lowering of one brow as she looked at Jayce. It seemed to get the message across because not even half an hour later they were working each other’s bodies on the chairs by the pool. Their hands were exploring in a gentler way before. Their breaths mingled as their kissing was deeper then prior if possible. Their souls were pouring out for one another at this point in time. Something Lexi hadn’t done in a long time but she was powerless to stop…. Lexi remembered everything as she remained curled up with Jayce. With remembering everything she should be terrified and pulling away from him. After all they agreed to keep things casual but this was far from casual. This had emotions involved all over it. So many emotions that until Jayce came back into her life, she hadn’t been ready for them. Now, maybe-just maybe-she was. They way she curled her body against his and held onto him screamed emotions running deep. Though her grip was gentle, it was firm in that she didn’t want to let go for anything. Lexi nodded her head as she wiggled against him again, a habit of hers when she was still trying to wake up. ”Mhm. You?” Lexi wasn’t even sure when they had passed out to be honest. She remember finishing for what? The fourth or fifth time? And then rolling to wind down. Somewhere in winding down Jayce had pulled her to his chest to sleep and she drifted off. Lexi laughed at his statement about her squirming. ”Maybe that’s my plan. Did you ever think about that, hm?” She stayed pressed against his chest as she smiled against his chest. His fingertips along her back sent a shiver down her body but not in a bad way.
