Okay Danny calm down! He really was going to get them caught if he kept this up. There was no way that they wouldn’t be able to hear her laughing. That would mean that someone would come investigate and that meant that he was going to have to keep hiding. Sure hiding was well and all but what if they came in here and searched her room?! That would be a disaster! Here he was trying to have a sweet moment with Leila and this was just going to ruin it all. Clapping his hand over his mouth he laughed into it to muffle the sound. “I would say that it’s been more than twelve hours since you’ve been able to tame me.” Playfully he tossed her a wink and relaxed. A shiver ran up his spine as he felt her drawing the circles on his body. Damn she was such a tease!

“I really wish you did get weekends off so we can spend more time together.” Some would say in the past ten years they had had enough time together but there you would be wrong! When he had to be away because of school they didn’t get to spend time in one another’s company. His arms stayed around her keeping her tightly pressed to him as they talked. No need in having her move away! When she asked what he was going to give her so she would keep this secret he put on a thinking face. “Well,” for a few seconds he pressed a sweet kiss to her lips; “anything you wish for.”

She was turning on that cuteness of hers and winning alright. When she moved to nestle into his chest he let out a soft sigh and held her close. His hands resting on her tummy as she giggled. Oh? What was going to keep her awake? “What am I doing that would keep you awake?” He played innocent as his hand rubbed her tummy soothingly. “I doubt you could be a grumpy Scott lady.” His eyes slid closed as he nuzzled his face into the back of her neck. He could really get used to this.

His breathing slowed as he got settled in with her and his hands remained locked on her tummy as they laid there. Shifting a little he tangled his legs with hers and when she spoke up his hand moved up to stroke through her hair. “Well the first thing is when I asked how you were doing your brother told me that you were dealing with some stuff. The second thing would be I was scared you would turn me down.” Who wouldn’t be scared? She was the woman of every man’s dream! Reaching down he pulled the blankets to cover them as he snuggled closer to her. “Sorry it took me so long.”

Family outings were embraced and photos littered the house. There were times that one member may not like the particular outing they were going on but they all tried to have fun still. Perhaps it was because she’s the only girl, but Leila loved family time. She carried her camera everywhere when they went places. Her parents were the same way. That was one of the things she loved to have in common with them. Plus, they always took photos of them kids but who took the photos of them? One year she made them an anniversary gift of a memory board with images of them. Of course, she let her brothers help so they could say it was from them as well. Being the middle child-literally-she learned that she couldn’t always have the light shining just on her. Leila frowned as she squeezed her eyes to keep calm. Did he really already have to start in about that? Yes, when a couple first started dating they wanted to spend a lot of time together but Leila had to work. A lot. While she wasn’t really mad he had said something already, she just hoped this would be the only time it was mentioned. ”While it would be nice, I don’t have much of a choice. I have to pay for college come winter as well as other things.” The storage of her eggs being those other things that is. Still, he didn’t need to know that yet. Plus, she didn’t want her parents to have to buy anything she needed. Leila wanted to try to contribute into whatever she could since she would continue to live here while in school. She moved closer as his arms snaked around her, one of her arms resting across his chest. It took a moment for the arm under her to be in a comfortable spot so it didn’t tingle so much. Leila rubbed her head against his chest in thought. ”Hmmmm rain check? And whenever I ask for it you have to give it to me. No questions asked.” ”Just being you is keeping me awake!“ Ok, so she really had no valid argument there. Laughter escaped her lips again, causing her to bury her face against his side and downwards. Daniel could have the cutest faces that were just so humorous. ”Oh you have not seen me full fledge b*tchy. You better hope you never see me that way.” Her brothers had seen her that way many a times, even before her whole medical fiasco. Plus, with her and her brothers, they could get rather physical being siblings. Often things were thrown and there were even wrestling matches that had ensued. Sometimes they ended up laughing while laying on the floor next to each other. When younger, she always hoped for a family like that. Now, she was lucky to have been able to have already been a part of it no matter what happens in the future. With Leila’s face out of sight, she was able to hide the confusion on her face. That was all Alex told Daniel? Though she knew guys weren’t super emotional, she figured Alex told Daniel most things concerning the family. She suddenly was overcome with emotions because her brother had actually kept her secret. Not that she was ashamed but she just wanted to tell people at her own pace. Alex seemed to have respected that. She blinked back before the moisture could escape her eyes and nodded. As she did so, a yawn escaped her lips. ”Just promise me you won’t wait so long for big stuff again?” Her feet rubbed against his ankle slowly, nearly stopping. Leila had been trying to fight sleep but it was getting more difficult. Between work that morning then her crying and just generally being upset, she was very much drained. As their conversation dwindled down, she let her heavy lids fall and darkness enclose her. Her body felt light as she drifted off, but in reality it was more weighted down. Only when she was fully asleep did all movement of her body stop except from her breathing and occasionally shifting in her sleep.
