Honestly? I no longer wish to admin this site. At all. I never wanted to admin All Too Well but the one who created this site had to leave shortly after opening but we kept it open. I personally had no desires to be an admin. I do not like trying to keep everything in order. I feel like everything has become overwhelming for myself. I have a 14 month old daughter who needs to come first and I feel like I am never caught up on admin duties which puts me behind in posts. I do have some suggestions to ease things up so that it can hopefully ease things. -the dual month thing was just an idea ran with from an old site. I was thinking of making it “real time” which many sites are doing. So we’d do it by season so there is a wider span. Then we will put up events as we feel comfortable doing so & we will mention what the date is on there. -I am thinking of getting rid of images for the housing subboards. You’d be welcome to post a picture of the house in the thread under there if you wish & I will not move it to the graveyard. -take people’s ages off from their custom title. It takes all day just to update those when things happen. Instead if people want to list their age they can do so under that custom quote area you all are allowed to edit’ Input? Sorry for how terrible this all sounds but I am in a really frustrated mood at this point.

-OTM's
-the occupation claims board

Basically getting rid of the extras which cause the biggest headache so everyone can just focus on the plotline

I vote to get rid of the extras and just focus on the site and it's plot. That's what it's all about anyways. As Ashley mentioned, she has her daughter to look after, she has a life outside of role playing, as we all do and this is too much for her to handle on her own. If I knew how to do graphics and stuff, I could help more. But I don't, and I don't have time to learn either. Something that Ashley didn't mention and I hope she won't mind me saying is, she also has some physical ailments that some of you may or may not know about. Stress can often make her condition worse, I know because my mom has the same sickness. So lets not give up on the site (We avea great thing going here, I think), lets just eliminate the unnecessaries.

I agree with getting rid of all the unnecessary pictures, otms, occupational claims and everything. I think that each character's occupation could also just be put in their mini profile with their age if the person wants it. Honestly, I think the fact that I don't have constant access to a computer limits my ability to do more for you guys, but I've decided that I want to spend some of my savings on getting a laptop since I'll be going to college next year and will need one then. Mercy and I have gone through this with our other site on webs, and we are determined to not allow this site to fall apart. We're ready to do whatever it takes to keep it up and running. Don't ever feel like you have to be the one keeping this site together, Ashleigh, we're all here and it's all of our responsibility.

No it's fine, I am open about my ailments. Honestly, that's why I am getting frustrated easily. I struggle with not taking things so seriously.

To me rpg is supposed to be fun. I feel like it's not that fun for me currently. Yes, admin are supposed to take responsibility which I don't mind. I just never wanted to be head admin. And all the extras that I know make a site fun are what is overwhelming. It takes me a whole day, sometimes two, come the setting change to get everything done.

Starboard, just saw your message XD Yes, Mercy did said you'd help her learn proboards so she could join the staff. I just feel like this site isn't fun for me at least. I'd like to get back to it being fun again for everyone

No worries! It's not fun if it starts to become a chore for you XD Anyways... hrm, I'll admit I like the pictures of the places and houses etc. etc. etc., but that's a personal thing -I like to imagine the environment that I RP in via real places/things. But, of course, if it becomes too much of a hassle then I am fine without it I like the OTM things, but... it's sometimes so difficult choosing who will be nominated/win, and then you have cases of there being no friendships or relationships or enemies (only the enemies is a specific thing on this website, but I more mean in general).

The occupation board is fun, but... I guess the only reason why we still might want to use it (if a bit abridged) is for ownerships and partnerships so that people won't get confused. Like, who's the mayor, or who's the police chief -stuff like that. I only say that 'cause it may create some headaches later on if two people don't realize they want the same major position, but that's just me. If that's still a big pain in the buttocks, then I'm fine with it being removed

I will say... hrm, perhaps we may be willing to have someone solely on the aesthetics of the website (i.e. making everything pretty) so that you guys can do more of the major stuff? *Scratches head* Maybe I'm saying it wrong; it's kinda late for me, and my screen's starting to double 'cause I be tireds. X.x

Actually with the new skin change I’m thinking that’ll be it. No more changing it with the seasons. It will show clearly this is a mystery site as well so it is interchangeable with things. I am working on a new skin because we have to (unfortunately) switch to V5. I do not wish to change the skin for a long while after that.

Honestly I think getting rid of a lot of these “extras” will help me admin wise. That, I am finding, is a lot of my stress. I am sorry if that came off wrong in asking people’s input. I was in a bad mood which is probably not the best time to post lol

I mean if you guys still want something “fun” I have seen on other sites like a random spotlight. So people can pm an admin a quote or something to display. I know a lot of people like those extras but I am finding them tedious. So if everyone is in agreement to get rid of them, I would like to & that seems to be the concessions with us admins as well. The otm’s on the sidebar will stay up until we do the next setting change which will be the V5 change as well. As for occupations, we will just list everyone’s occupation in oen thread, not a million like there are now.

I am sorry if I came off wrong. A lot of these extras were something decided back when the site opened but right now I find them completely unnecessary. The only thing is does everyone like having an image for their home? If yes I will continue that.
