A decade ago to the year, the United Kingdom came under serious terrorist attacks resulting in thousands of deaths across the country. With the rise of Carter Hendricks to prime minister, a cure was found and people were safe. In order to save England from herself, he cracked down on the country, instilling stricter laws and countermeasures to once again bring peace to the country. After years of hard work, he even took the title Lord Chancellor for himself, a lifetime position. Under his guidance, things returned to normal, for the most part, only with more government interference within daily lives.
Carter and his party honestly meant well, and London certainly seems to think so if the outcry from Carter's assassination was anything to go by. All the same, the seeds of rebellion have been planted and all they need to wait for is for them to grow.
