the appearance
appearance : Willow is a natural redhead with dark red curly locks. She's a petite lady, small and fragile looking but her personality is what makes her stand out. Her skin is pale and freckled, the mark of a true ginger. At about 5'4" she finds herself trying to make up for her vulnerable appearance. Willow is always making a fuss about her appearance, wanting to look her best, especially outside of work where she's usually covered in finger paint and glue.

personality : Willow is a rather goofy girl, enjoying jokes and dancing about like a loon. She's a clever girl and loves to paint and play about in her garden. Being very artistic she likes to bring creativity and imagination to everything she does, especially at work. Willow has always been patient and kind and motherly towards her friends and family but its only since gotten worse since working at the school around small children. She also has a habit of collecting things, trinkets from yard sales and anything she think she can find useful.

history : Lily and Charles met at Hope Harbor's community college and fell in love instantly. They were married right after their graduation and decided to move to the town where they fell in love. Before too long they were blessed with fraternal twins, William and Willow. William was a much more active child, wanting to run around and play ball with his friends while Willow was happy to just read a book and draw.

Being so different from each other Willow and William grew apart, even though they were never really close to begin with. William played sports and went hiking and spent a lot of time with their father while Willow painted and joined the school's theater group. Life was simple and easy growing up for Willow. She had to loving parents and they weren't rich but they got by pleasantly enough.

By high school, Willow thought she knew what she wanted to do in life. She wanted to travel the world, see the sites and paint. She had a few flings in high school, nothing serious because she didn't think she'd be around long enough for any real commitment. It wasn't until her senior year when she realized what life really meant to her. It was actually something her mother said. Her mother told her that the greatest time of her life was raising her children.

It got Willow thinking, made her realize that traveling the world would be great, give her amazing memories but memories fade. So she headed off to college to become a teacher. She met a man there and fell in love. His name was Max and he made her feel like the world revolved around her. He was romantic and so kind. Once graduated, he proposed and not long after, Willow realized she was pregnant. Life couldn't get any better it seemed. But their bliss and happiness was cut short. Max was in the army and he was being shipped out to help overseas. It wasn't suppose to be for long but a stray roadside bomb took his life and Willow was thrown into depression.

With a baby on the way she had to get over her love quickly, she reminded herself she still had a part of him growing inside her and knew Max wouldn't want her to be sad. She had to move on, to be happy, to raise their child. Four years later, Willow is a single working mom living with her brother in a small house. She's much closer to her brother now and so thankful for his help in raising her baby.
