“I’m not that big of a perv what are you talking about?” He smirks as he leans in and pokes her ticklish spot on her side. He looks into her eyes and sticks out his tongue. “So you don’t want me to be that loving and devoted boyfriend who would help you?” A playful pout appears on his lips as he looks into her eyes. Thankfully her mother was on his side and actually liked him! Why her father didn’t like him he would never know. It could be the fact that he was taking the man’s little girl away from him. That was the issue with a man who was over protective of his daughter even from close family friends. He smiles at Leila and sighs in content.
When she tapped on his chin he playfully growled and nipped her finger then placed a kiss to it. “Well that makes me feel so much better.” Leaning in, he licks her nose and smirks in victory. As he nipped and placed a kiss on her neck he sighed out in protest as she told him enough. “Okay fine, remind me to make you more adventurous later.” He teases her as he leans back while they dance. They were still going to have to take it slow in public it seemed.
As she answers why they’re looking at them like they were he shook his head and finally tickled her sides. “Well they should know because you’re a smart, beautiful, loving, caring and sweet woman that I love so much.” Did he really care what anyone else thought of Leila? Nope! The only real opinions he needed were from both his mother and grandmother and they both loved and approved of his choice in a girlfriend. Out of all the girls he had been with she was the only one that made him feel this way. He loved how she allowed him to just be himself with her.
Nodding his head he looked deep into her eyes and shivered. “That’s the part that scares me most! You have all those big strong guys in your family that can all beat me up over and over again.” That was the really scary part about their relationship. It was all those men in her family that he had to worry about. Knowing so much about her already really had to be a mark in his book, right? They were good friends and they had known one another for over ten years. This was something that had allowed them to bond.
While they danced and talked he looked deep into her eyes. This was the one place he wanted to be right now and would always want to be. A smile crossed his lips as he looked into her eyes. “Really.” Everything he was telling her was true. There was no need for her to worry about anything at all.
He grinned as she spoke up to him. “That makes me feel so much better knowing you feel the same way.” He pulls her close to him again as he listens to everything she says with great intent. “It doesn’t matter if you’re not easy to be with I’ve learned to work around it, hell I have my own faults too and you put up with me. We work together well and I like it. Nothing can ever come between us and nothing will stop us from being together.” He leans in and kisses her tenderly on her lips. “I’m sorry you had to find out from her. Next time I’ll be the first one to tell you.”
