This ad is for the love of Haven’s life. & no, it’s not her fiancée but the one she let get away. Haven & Kyle were very much in love when she was eighteen & in college. Haven felt like she was special around him-not a discarded toy as she often refers to herself. He only had eyes for Haven. The were together two years & talked abut their future like it was certain-they would get married, she’d run a floral shop while he’d run a café, they’d have kids, live in Hope Harbor & grow old together. But fate always has other plans. Kyle got an amazing opportunity but it was out of Maine. The two fought about it because he wanted Haven to leave with him. She didn’t want to. Finally, he left & things ended. Haven never went after him. She graduated college, came to Hope Harbor & opened her floral shop. While here she met Clark. He’s a lawyer who is a complete charmer. The two had a whirlwind romance & are now engaged. But he works in Augusta so he spends more time staying there then in Hope Harbor. Haven, though, doesn’t mind. She misses him but the love she has for him is nothing like she had for Kyle. She figures she loves him just enough & the rest will happen over time. Haven is basically settling instead of settling down. Until Kyle comes to town... So some things can be changed such as the name & him opening a café in Maine(it just sounded cute haha). He can have any job though it’s one that took him from Maine. Perhaps a musician or author who’s book got launched? Also why he’s Hope Harbor is up to you. He didn’t grow up here though. He could be from elsewhere in Maine or the country. Now, they are finals. Haven will break up with her fiancée but not for Kyle. There’s a completely different reasoning worked out. She’ll keep denying that she still has feelings for Kyle. Hell, he can even have a fling or friend with benefit until she comes around. Or he can be completely loyal to the idea that they’re meant to be together & not be with anyone. Whatever works! A highly suggested playby is Matt Bomer though not necessary. The name, history aside from his time with Haven, personality & other tidbits are all up to you the player! Now, just quick information about Haven: her mother put her up for adoption when she was two. She was adopted but her adoption was dissolved once her adoptive parents were arrested. She bounced around in the system after that until she was sixteen when she went to a special program for “high risk” girls like her. They helped her get everything prepared she needed to go to college. Haven had skipped a year of school when younger so she started college at seventeen. Also, her birth name is Lyndy but she changed it when she was seventeen. Kyle would only know her as Haven though she would have told him.
