"This just in-Ian Blackwell was located after being stranded on an island in the middle of the Pacific. Ian Wesley has been assumed dead for the past three years after a sailing accident. For those of you unfamiliar with the story, on June 11th, 2010...." The news release that will shatter Alexandria Cross’ world. Now, Ian Blackwell(first name for ad purposes only) is Alexandria’s soul mate. They were high school sweethearts having met here in Hope Harbor. They met on one of Lexi’s many walks. He was the opposite of her-she was sweet, proper and modest. He was wild, grabbed life by the balls and took risks. He got her to open up and take chances. Sailing, rock climbing, concerts and so many other things that cannot be listed. They were the couple everyone was jealous of in high school. He proposed at graduation. He went up for his diploma, he shook the principals hand then made off as if he was to exit. Instead he ran back to the podium with the microphone and declared his love for Lexi and asked her to marry him. Of course she said yes. They didn’t wait long. They married that autumn when home form college on Thanksgiving break. November 29, 2003. Then they went back to California to go to school. Lexi became a nurse while Ian did his own thing in school and went sailing whenever he had free time. After Lexi was done her associates in nursing, she got a job as a nurse then went back to school a year later to get her bachelors degree. About three months into school, Lexi got a positive pregnancy test. The two were happy and she decided after that semester to put off her bachelor’s degree until she had the baby. Their families were happy, especially when they found out they were having a boy. They decided on the name Zachary Thomas and began to plan the nursery. A month later their world shattered though. Their son had a heart condition that wasn’t picked up on any ultrasound and he had died in her womb. Three days later, Lexi had to deliver their still born son after being induced. Her cousin, Daniel Zakarian, and her mother came out for the heartbreaking moment. Lexi spun into a depression. What pulled her out was Ian. He had a ring custom designed in memory of their son. That helped start to bring her out. Fast forward another three years to June, 2010. Lexi has her bachelors degree, is working as a nurse and her husband drops a bomb-he wanted to try again for a baby. Lexi wasn’t ready and they fought. They agreed to table the idea so they wouldn’t fight and things were ok. Still, Ian took his boat out early the next morning to clear his head. Lexi never saw him again. They only recovered part of his boat and he was declared dead. Ian‘s family blamed Lexi. The guilt was too much so she packed up her life and moved back home to Hope Harbor. Lexi has lived happily enough the last two years back home in Maine. She lives with her cousin and her cousin’s wife. She works as an ER nurse and has plenty of friends. While Lexi seems happy, she hasn’t really moved on from Ian. Despite changing her name back to her maiden name a few months ago, she‘s not even ready to date. She still loves and misses her late husband. Well, presumed late husband. Situation One: Lexi is going to come home-from work or a date-and Daniel and his wife, Leila, will be waiting with the news that Ian has been found alive on some island in the pacific. That he called Daniel looking for Lexi. Lexi, well, she won’t believe anyone. Until they put the news on. Lexi is going to have a break down. Now, his parents are going to stop her from seeing him when she goes to California-even putting an injuction until they can decide if the marriage is still legal or not. Lexi can’t take the stress so she comes back to Maine feeling defeated. Well, that doesn’t stop Ian from coming back for his wife who asks a different family member to bring him to Maine. Situation Two: Ian and his parents keep it out of the press for privacy reasons. Ian keeps asking about Lexi but his parents refuse to talk about her. They get him to their home in California but one day when they’re running errands he leaves-books a flight to Hope Harbor with the help of a member of the family who likes Lexi. He goes to see Daniel first then Ian and Daniel go to the hospital where Lexi is at work. There Daniel and her good friend, Oliver, tell her while Ian waits in an office or something. Bound to be totally awkward!(this situation is the favorite among the three of us who thought up the plot) Now obviously things won’t be perfect between them. They’ve been apart for three years-with him stranded on an island. He is bound to be a different guy and there may be pain on his end because she changed her last name or thought him dead. Still, the hope is they find their way back to each other-to them. Legally speaking, they are still married. Pretty much everything is outlined though there can be a different situation that leads to their reunion . His job before being stranded is open, his playby is open, his first & middle name are open and we can even talk about changing some things outlined here in the wanted ad. The baby is set in stone though. There’s sure to be plenty of awesome drama with this though so snag him up! Also, I don’t normally put this, but all people involved in this plot are very literate. We’d prefer if the player can do a minimum of 400 words in a post. I hate trying to carry the whole thread, including conversation, myself.
