Cameron had the perfect day planned before Kylie’s parents flew in. well, as perfect as he could do. Despite being a doctor he wasn’t wealthy unlike what most people thought. After all he had student loans to pay off. Still, he thought he did well with his apartment. Seeing as Christmas Day was going to be spent at Haven’s with her, Clark, Kylie and Kylie’s parents, he wanted to be able to do something just the two of them today. So Cameron’s house had vases placed throughout the place with roses and poinsettias courtesy of Haven. And because he had the curtains that kept his apartment dark because he worked third shift, he could do candles and make it feel a little bit like night time despite it only being around one in the afternoon. He had a late lunch cooking for them of Kylie’s favorite. That and a selection of Christmas movies since he didn’t have cable. Not being up during the day there was no point in having it.
Part of him felt silly for doing all this but he also thought it was necessary. He really loved her. Yes, loved after just over a month. Hell, he had loved her after two weeks but he thought that might be too soon to tell her. They spent whatever time they could together. Sometimes, if Haven was busy, she came by here to do some of her designing while Cameron slept. Just knowing she was here felt nice to Cameron. He had learned long ago to run on little sleep. They’d go do something alone but often times they were with Haven. Cameron couldn’t really complain. Kylie had been looking for her sister long before she met him. She deserved to have as much time with her as possible. A great thing about them trying to bond was Haven offered for her to have Kylie move in. That had made Kylie so happy and Cameron was happy for her. Just he didn’t go when Haven’s fiancée, Clark, was there. Haven was engaged to a complete douche. Cameron had information on him and he couldn’t tell anyone. Well, aside from a stranger in a bar and his best female friend and that was only because he needed her honest opinion. This situation was so messed up.
As Cameron checked on the food, he heard a knock on the door. A wide grin formed on his face. He set aside the utensils and wiped off his hands before he grabbed a gag item as he headed to the door. After he had swung it open, he leaned against one side of the frame while his left arm extended to the opposite one. ”You may only enter. But first-” he paused as he brought his right hand from behind him forward and slipped a goofy headband with some fake mistletoe hanging forward onto his head. ”You’re under the mistletoe.” Sure he had some of the real stuff in his apartment but he just couldn’t resist himself when he saw this in the store. It was so comical and Cameron loved to have fun with the holidays so this was perfect! Especially for his and Kylie’s first Christmas together.

After a moment, Kylie leaned down and picked up her coat, bag, and the gift bag for Cameron. Something smells pretty good in there and I'm getting hungry. Biting her lip, Kylie peered around Cameron's shoulder. It all looked so nice from where she was standing. It was amazing that he could set this mood so early in the day. It was if she had come home from a long day of work to find a special candlelit dinner waiting for her. [/ul]

Cameron liked being able to have fun in a relationship. One had to be able to laugh as well as be serious plus be intimate. There had to be trust and comfortable in the occasional silence. Not that no one should ever talk but sometimes one ran out of things to talk about and that was ok. He was slowly finding all those things in Kylie. She never seemed to mind coming by here while he slept and he liked knowing she was here. They also both seemed to have old fashioned values. They didn’t rush right into the sack, believed in being faithful and honest as well as keeping the lines of communication open. They believed in romance before pleasure. Cameron liked that he had found she was open about it. He knew many women liked a guy who was romantic but still went for the good looking ones. Even if they were jerks they thought they could change them. Not that Cameron was bad looking just right after a long shift he wasn’t eager to shave his stumble. And if you saw him at work he may have a stain on his scrub top if he hadn’t changed it right away.
Kylie never cared about those things. She had brought him freshly made food while he worked before, something he really appreciated. He’d spend some time with her while he could. He was introducing her to his friends when she wasn’t busy the big one being Sydni. Being his closest friend who happened to be a female he thought it was best those tow got to know each other quickly. He didn’t want Kylie to get the wrong idea and wanted to be open about his friendship with any female. Of course there was one thing about Sydni he hadn’t told Kylie but it’s not like it had anything to do with him per say. It was medically related so he couldn’t tell anyone.
He was glad the headband was a hit. He chuckled as he looked at it before looking at her face again. ”I saw it in the store and couldn’t resist. But I have to get one picture of you with it. Pay back for the picture of me sleeping./” Cameron had offered to paint one of the spare bedrooms at Haven’s house and ended up passing out on the paint drapes on the floor. Her and Haven thought it’d be HILARIOUS to get a photo of him asleep on them while covered in paint, the roller by his side. Haven even put it up on Facebook. It was now printed off and put on the bulletin at work. Yeah, hilarious.
When Kylie leaned I not him for a kiss, Cameron moved from the doorframe to wrap his arms around her waist and lift her up slightly. He felt really happy as he held her there in his arms and matched her kisses. He set her back down after a moment just before they pulled apart. ”Merry Christmas to you sweetheart.“ He pressed a final kiss to the top of her head before he went to grab her coat from her. ”Well I know it’s not a traditional Christmas meal but since we’re having ham tomorrow I thought I’d make something you like.” Cameron went back to push the bits of meat around just as the rice cooker flipped from cook to warm. As he finished up the food he looked over his shoulder, concern on his face. ”Have you heard from Brooklyn? I know she comes home soon but didn‘t know if she had talked to you about how she‘s doing.” Kylie had told him about what happened with her and Tristan. Aside from Oliver, and probably her family now, he was sure they were the only others who knew. He wasn’t even sure if she knew Kylie had told him. He may not be real close with Brooklyn but Kylie had become close to her. Because she meant a lot to his girlfriend he was genuinely concerned.
As he let the chicken simmer in the sauce for another minute, he transfer the rice form the cooker to a large bowl. ”Uh do you want corn or peas or green beans? I didn’t have time to get the fresh stuff but I have some in a can.” That and he really hadn’t had the money for it with buying gifts. Aside from gifts for his family he had to pay the postage to send them out. Then he got Kylie something, her parents to hopefully impress them along with Haven, Clark and Sydni. That coupled with his rent, bills and loan payments he was pushing it even buying the steak. Once the holidays passed he’d be doing a little better. Two more years and he could at least be out of debt form his student loans, maybe less if he found a way to pay more.

She playfully rolled her eyes at him. She remembered the day he was talking about. How he had fallen asleep while painting. It had been so sweet of him to help out, especially after the long shift he had worked. But that long shift was what had caused him to fall asleep in the middle of the work. Kylie had found it completely adorable and endearing that he was willing to work so hard and still help out where he could. Haven had told her to make sure that she didn't let him get away. Well she had no intentions of that, and that much was for sure. No Kylie intended to spend the rest of her life with him. Kylie couldn't help but giggle as he lifted her off her feet. Her heart beat faster as they kissed and when he so sweetly kissed the top of her head before putting her back down on her feat. Kylie loved having this big strapping man around and she loved even more that she could call him her own. Yes, her own, big strapping, boundlessly handsome man. Cameron made Kylie feel as though she was the only girl in the world, he made her feel like, when they were together, everything in the world would be right, he made her feel so very special. Kylie smiled and rubbed her nose against his. It's fine babe...as long as it tastes as good as it smells. She teased with a wink and walked into the apartment. She loved teasing cameron almost as much as he loved teasing her. That made the two have a good dynamic and quite excellent chemistry. As Cameron stirred the food, Kylie walked up behind him, wrapped her arms his waist and leaned her head on his back. She so enjoyed this, just being here, with him. It didn't matter what they did with their time, as long as they were together. A lot of girls said that, just because it sounded good. But Kylie really and truly meant it. Her absolute favorite thing to do was spend time with Cameron. Kylie nodded her head. Mmmmmhmmm... she said softly. She's doing ok...Happy to see her family....But still running into complications with her uncle....And though she won't admit it, she's pretty upset about things with Tristan. Kylie sighed. I think she should go after him...But she's too stubborn. She probably won't do it....I feel sorry for her. Kylie kissed Cameron's back and she buried her face there, drinking in his manly scent. She couldn't get enough of the smell of his cologne. Ooo....Green Beans...I love Green Beans. Kylie answered, when given the choice. She was a little bit of a health nut, but she could be a junk food girl too. But she absolutely loved her veggies. Green Beans and Broccoli were her favorite. She basically loved every vegetable, accept for Lima Beans and Peas. She really wasn't a picky girl. Kylie began to move around the kitchen getting out the plates, silverware, and glasses, as well as the napkins. She smiled as she looked around the apartment. Did you do this all yourself hun....It's beautiful. Kylie took one of the vases of roses and set it in the center of the table she had put together. It was nice because it wasn't so tall that they couldn't see each other past it. Burying her nose in the vase of red roses, she breathed deeply. Kylie loved roses, especially crimson ones. I can't wait for you to meet my parents...and you don't have to be nervous around them. They're really nice and they're going to love you. Kylie grinned happily and she took a step back and looked at her work. Perfect.[/ul]

Cameron had dated before but only one of them had been serious. Like loved one another and dated more then a year serious. Just never wanting to get married serious. Cameron never really thought about it. Sure, he knew he wanted the family life especially since he had great examples excluding his father. There had only been on divorce in his family and that’s because the woman was a serial cheater. That was it. Everyone else was happily married with someone they loved. Even his father had loved his mother so much that her death had killed him inside. So really he didn’t blame him. Just they weren’t on good terms. Sometimes he hated it but mostly Cameron just learned to live with it. Not everyone could change.
Which is why, with Kylie, he was excited and happy. When with her it just felt right. Corny, right? Well it just did. There was no push to spend tons of money and do things they hated just to have a good time. He could see a future with her, something he hadn’t even really seen with his last serious girlfriend. Just he wasn’t really rushing to buy a ring or discuss all these things. Any of those topics this early in a relationship could break them if not approached the right way. Sure it was one thing to talk about what they each wanted but another to be pushy with I. Cameron loved her but he was fine taking things slow, taking time to build up the foundation of their relationship. When Cameron got married that would be it unless the woman cheated on him. He wasn’t a fan nor really believed in divorce. Entering a marriage was something that was to be deeply considered and with someone you really loved. And you didn’t let that person you love just walk away.
When she agreed to the photo Cameron pulled out his phone since he didn’t have a camera. There had never been a reason for him to buy a regular camera. He wasn’t a teenage girl so never took photos of himself. Most of the ones on his Facebook were ones he was tagged in. the ones he uploaded were of his family and places around town. Or events that the hospital did. Real great profile, huh? Though between Kylie and Haven it was starting to fill up with photos real fast. Usually it took him a couple days before he noticed them and by then there was no arguing to untag him. Not that he could resist it when Kylie poulled out one of her “cute” faces. She could get him to do whatever she wanted with those little eyes of hers. If that didn’t work she usually littered his face with quick kisses until he gave in. anything to keep her kissing him for a little bit longer or to get more afterwards.
He laughed at her statement about the food. ”Now that I can’t promise. I mean to me it tastes good but until you I’ve never had to cook for anyone before. Nor did anyone come over this often.” Aside from Brooklyn and Sydni barging in and out as they pleased no one lived here often. More then half his time was spent in the on call room sleeping. At least the other two girls were learning not to just barge in here with him dating Kylie now. Not that there was anything wild for them to walk in on just he liked them having their alone time. Plus he wasn’t sure how kindly Kylie would take to two women just barging into his place. Especially sine he usually just slept in his boxers. Before now he had never cared because it’s not like he was attracted to them, then or now. But being in a relationship there were boundaries to respect and he made sure they knew them. Brooklyn, though, seemed to have a semi-free pass when Kylie was here since the two were close.
When Kylie came up behind him he put one hand on her arm and rubbed it. He listened intently to what she had to say. ”Things will be complicated with him for awhile. I mean he has to go in front of a court martial for one case then tried in civilian court for another. I’m surprised she’s staying this sane.” Cameron came from a long line of members of the military. He was disqualified because of his rough years. While part of him was disappointed he also knew it wouldn’t have worked out well for him. He just wasn’t as dedicated to the military as the generations before were. That didn’t mean he didn’t know his stuff. ”As for Tristan I have no comment.” Kylie probably wouldn’t like what he had to say about that. Honestly what was it with so many people just letting the one they supposedly loved go? Brooklyn and that guy in the bar were two examples within two weeks. It was nuts! Apparently the holidays really did bring out the crazy in people.
At least he had one thing she wanted. Once he was able to get her to detangle herself he reached into his cupboard for it and grabbed a well used can opener. Most of his meals before now were from a can or the frozen aisle since they were much easier. As he twirled the knob of the opener he wiggled his head from side to side. ”Kind of. I told your sister what I wanted to do and she did it. She also helped me pick out some decent candles and then dropped everything off since I was working. I just had to promise to fix her barn this summer. Which I quickly agreed to before she pulled out her evil eye.” As Cameron poured the green beans into a small pot he shivered in an exaggerated manner. It was no secret that Cameron was terrified of Haven for some reason. That woman just gave him the creeps.
The green beans heated up quickly which was good since everything else was done. After he switched the stove to off, he put the Sesame Beef onto a plate then brought that and the rice to the table. The green beans were the last thing transferred to a bowl and put on the table along with the serving utensils. While he washed his hands he took in a fairly deep breath of air. ”I hope so. You know it’s probably been five or six years since I’ve met someone’s parents. I’m nervous.” Once his hands were dried off he pressed a kiss to Kylie’s cheek before he pulled her chair out for her. Yes, his grandparents had instilled a lo of gentlemanly ways into him. ”Thank you for setting up the table.”
Cameron knew not to take your partner for granted. Even thanking them for something as small as doing the dishes even if it was “your turn” went a long ways. Cameron made sure to show Kylie he appreciated her often. He didn’t want to lose her just because he was being an idiot and not noticing how she cared. Like she didn’t have to go visit him at work or bring him food yet she did. That made him feel special. He knew he had a catch, no one had to tell him that. He knew that she was something special, unique, when they had first met.

She laughed and kissed his cheek to "make up" for teasing. There were advantages to dating, and hopefully, eventually marrying, a doctor. Free healthcare, at least for basic things. And it always made the old joke of "playing doctor', even more interesting and exciting, when you did it with an actual Doctor. Goosebumps raised on Kylie's skin, when Cameron stimulated it by running his hand up and down her arm. A happy, contented sigh escaped her lips, as her eyes closed. This was right. This was where she was supposed to be. Cameron was who she was supposed to be with. Kylie felt bad that Brooklyn was robbing herself of the joy that she could have from such a relationship with Tristan, who was completely perfect for her and she for him. I wish I could be there for her. Kylie had always had a burdened for her friends when they were going through a rough time. It was part of what made her the wonderful person she was. Though Kylie would never quite call herself a wonderful person. She would be more apt to point out all the reasons she wasn't. Well, there's not much good anyone can say about the whole thing with Tristan....Brooklyn's just being an idiot and I really feel for Tristan...But I suppose if she's not ready to leap, it's better for him if she doesn't. Kylie shrugged, than hugged her man tighter around the middle. I'm glad you lept she whispered in his ear. Kylie grinned when Cameron explained that Haven had helped him set up everything. She was really touched by that. It demonstrated that, even though their relationship as sisters was young, she did care and was making an effort to show it. It really meant the world to Kylie. She couldn't help but laugh and roll her eyes at his comment and actions about Haven. The woman could be a little intense and intimidating at times, at least to guys. But other girls tended to understand her, other than the thing about Clark. No one really understood that one. She's not that bad...and she approves of you...So I really don't think you have anything to worry about babe. Kylie leaned towards him and hit him across the butt with one of her small hands. I know you are. Kylie said with understanding in her melodic voice. Just follow my lead, and you'll be just fine. Kylie knew there was nothing she could say that would make Cameron not nervous. But she was pretty sure that after he met her parents and they had some time to talk, they would both like each other. She knew dad especially would like him. He always liked the boys Kylie brought home, because they were always good guys. Not that Kylie brought home a lot of guys. There'd only been maybe 3 or 4 before Cameron. None of them had really been serious. Kylie leaned into Cameron's kiss, and said You're welcome. When he thanked her for setting up the table. It was nice that they didn't always have to kiss each other on the lips and neither one minded. Their relationship was serious, but relaxed at the same time. They both and faith and trust in each other and never really felt like they had anything to worry about. They were secure in who and what they were to each other. It was just awesome to have that. She sat down as he pulled out the chair for her, and thanked him. Kylie waited for Cameron to sit before she began to put her food on her plate. It smelled so good she was practically salivating. She was fit and trim, but the girl could eat and unlike many in he industry, she wasn't afraid of food or showing how much she loved it. Sampling the meal Cameron's loving hands had prepared, she nodded as she chewed. Swallowing, so as not to speak with her mouth full, Kylie smiled at him. Wow babe...that is really good.....Thank you for making this all so special. Kylie reached across the little table and took Cameron's hand, which had been resting on the edge, in hers and gave it a loving little squeeze. I'm lucky to have you...and lucky just doesn't cut it. Her eyes were full of adoration for him. [/ul]

Cameron chuckled. ”That is true. The lucky thing about dating a doctor.” While they could joke about it he did know that’s not why Kylie was with him. She had told him so several times. Not that he could judge as many women went for a specific “type”. Doctors, lawyers, musicians, mechanics, soldiers...just as long as that wasn’t the only thing they stayed with him for. Being a doctor wasn’t as glamorous as one though. Especially one who worked in the Emergency Room. They kept weird hours and sometimes you didn’t see them at home for two or three days. As he moved up he hoped things would ease up some. Although that meant trying to get more people to work at the hospital as well. Being a small town not that many doctors or nurses moved here. Half of them lived a town over, actually. There was only one family practice in town that everyone went to and they only had the basic specialties at the hospital. OBGYN, a pediatrician and a general surgeon. Nothing more in depth then that. People would have to go to Central Maine Medical Center or even Maine Medical Center but both were hours away.
Cameron nodded as an understanding, ”I know,” Left his lips. He was amazed at how much and how quickly Kylie cared for people. She had only known Brooklyn since August or September and the two were thick as thieves. And her and Haven were already trading life stories. Her heart was so large and so full of love for anyone. Of course she could have a hot headed side but he had yet to find out. Or maybe she was one with a silent temper. You know the kind-where you can tell they’re mad but it’s all stewing underneath. Hopefully he didn’t find out anytime soon. Cameron liked how things were currently going. They were just perfect. Even if they hit rough spots Cameron intended to keep this up. He didn’t want to just let her go anytime soon.
Some people would talk about butterflies or their stomach being in knots but with Cameron it was different. Yes his heart rate picked up just thinking about her but it was more a sense of peace. Before he didn’t care about much. He’d go to work and not shave for a few days which was fine. His apartment would be messy and if he never left it while home, well, he was ok with that too. Now he took care in his appearance as he wanted to be the kind of guy she was proud to be seen with. He took care to have the apartment look good and comfortable since she was living at the hotel for the longest time. Now she was at Haven’s house but that didn’t mean he would stop. And he loved going out with her. Right now Cameron couldn’t drop loads of money on doing fancy things for her like she deserved but he always tried to find something special to do. Even if it was finding something unique to just them, to make her feel special. Because to him she was.
”Idiot is not what I was going to say.” He sighed in thought as he shook his head. ”Yes she’s being an idiot but she’s also being cruel to him. You know she is the second person I know to screw over someone they supposedly love?” Cameron shook his head as he recalled the bar encounter he had in Portland. Though they never exchanged names, nor had they seen each other since, he thought of it after he heard about what Brooklyn did. He just didn’t understand people. ”I met this guy who left the supposed love of his life from college to go pursue his “dream job.” Now he wants her back but she’s with someone and was all pissed off because she wouldn’t go right back to him.” He shook his head again as his brows raised up. ”You better hope she gets ready for the leap before Brooklyn ends up like that guy.”
Despite cooking he took a moment to turn and press a kiss to her forehead then the tip of her nose before he hovered over her lips. ”Well that’s because I like to seize the moment. Especially when I see something-or in this case someone-special.” Only then did he kiss her lips as his hands held her hips to gently pull her towards him. One hand traveled up a few inches and fanned along her side so his fingers kneaded into her back gently. When they pulled away he pressed another kiss to her forehead. He was glad they got to spend some time alone for Christmas. Sure he was glad as well as anxious to meet her parents but he wanted a moment of just them. Though their relationship was fairly new it was their first Christmas and that was something special.
When a hand met his bottom he turned and leaned forward. ”Hey! Woman, you are being very naughty the day before Christmas. Santa won’t bring you what you want if you keep it up.” A flirty and suggestive grin formed on his face. No, he still wouldn’t push that issue but that didn’t mean they couldn’t have fun. Cameron’s eyes as well as his eyebrows shot up as he moved to take care of things. Good thing he could turn away from her. ”She is nice to you. She may approve of me but I seriously think she wants to castrate me.” His face relaxed a small scowl formed. Probably had to do with that awful man she was going to marry. Honestly that was a dumb move to him. ”I wonder if she takes her anger towards Clark out on me so they don’t fight.” Ok he really couldn’t help that joke. It was worth anything Kylie had to say about it. ”In all seriousness though, what do you think about him?”
”Alright I trust you. Maybe Clark will say something that will take focus off me.” Hey, one could hope right? That might be an awful thought but he kept hoping the guy did something serious enough that Haven kicked him to the curb. Oh it’d be so much easier if he could share his information with Kylie. It was really eating him up as this was the only thing he had been keeping form her. Sure, they didn’t know everything about one another yet but he had told her major things. Like about his mother taking her life and how it had effected his father which led to his grandparents raising him. He was even open about his troublesome years with fighting. They did a lot of talking on the phone and text when he was at work which helped them get to know one another.
After she sat down, he squeezed her shoulder affectionately before he sat down himself. He was in no rush to eat, allowing her to take what she wanted first. He often ran on much less food then this. As he served himself he smiled tenderly at her before he wrinkled his nose. ”Yeah you are.” Cameron watched her as she ate. While she didn’t let her food drip everywhere nor run down her face she wasn’t afraid to actually eat. He hated girls who thought too much about their figures. Sure there was being healthy then there was being a health freak. She was just perfect there. That and a go getter. She did everything she could to find Haven and now with starting her own fashion line. Along with her caring heart and old fashioned ways that they shared, he really loved that he had her in his life. For awhile he didn’t think he’d find anyone like her. Someone he meshed so well with and had many of the same values and thought processes as him.
When about through three quarters of the meal he chuckled. Without even thinking at all-it just came out-he said, ”You know that’s one reason why I love you. You actually enjoy food.” No it wasn’t planned or anything super romantic. It just sort of came out as to Cameron it felt just right coming out of his mouth. He was so unaware of it at first that he just went back to eating. As he slowly chewed the piece of beef in his mouth he replayed his words and looked over at her. He stared right into her eyes. Well, he had already said it once so why not again? ”I love you, Kylie.” There was just a trace of a smile as Cameron’s eyes shone with his adoration for her. He was really crazy about her even after a short time.

Kylie interjected, holding her hand up, her brownish eyebrows furrowing. He left her...and he expects her to be waiting...after how many years? Kylie thought about it. It seemed crazy yes, but at the same time, she sort of empathized. If the two had really truly been in love, there was no expiration on it. Kylie wasn't sure because she'd never really truly been head over heels in love with someone, but she was pretty sure you couldn't just move on from something like that. She knew if Cameron had left her like that, yah she'd be mad, but she'd be hard pressed to move on to someone else. Kylie was the eternal optimist. She'd probably turn into an old lonely woman and still look out the window morning, night, and noon to see if he was coming up the drive way. But that was just her. Any other girl might have poses a question to Cameron, such as 'well if I left, wouldn't you wait for me until I came back?' But Kylie wasn't one for picking fights and if Cameron ever did move on and find someone else, as long a he was happy, then she would be happy for him. Kylie shivered inwardly at Cameron's kiss. She absolutely loved when he kissed her on the forehead. To her it was the sweetest, most tender way he could show her how much he cared. It showed her that he was willing to just take things one day at a time, but not hold their relationship back, or push it forward before either of them were ready. Their relationship was so in sync, like two people walking at the same pace and stride, matching one another's step. It really was a thing of beauty and inspiration. As Cameron's face hovered before her own, Kylie could feel his warm breath caressing her face, and she smiled at his words, which made her exceedingly happy, and when he moved it, Kylie opened her mouth to receive is affectionate kiss. As they kissed, Kylie felt his hands on her body, holding her, kneading her, stimulating her senses, keeping her wanting more of him. Needing more of him. And then he broke the kiss, at the appropriate time of course, leaving her wanting more. He kissed her on the forehead once again and she smiled up at him. Her own sweet, Cameron. Perhaps that was Cameron's trick, he left her wanting more. Kylie gave Cameron a wickedly flirtatious look. Well...Naughty is my middle name. Don't you remember me telling you that? She teased and winked in his direction and caught the look he was giving her. Yah, it turned her on. It wasn't the first time Cameron had turned her on and it wouldn't be the last. But it was certainly the strongest turn on to date. No, they hadn't slept together yet. Cuddled on the couch, fallen asleep during a movie, but they hadn't had relations yet. Not because neither of them were against it. But Kylie for one was the type of girl who didn't want a relationship for the sex. That was just a perk. So far Cameron hadn't mentioned it to her, and she hadn't mentioned it to him. They would get there when the time was right. But that time hadn't yet presented itself. Besides, their relationship was still young. They would have time for all that in the future, because as far as Kylie was concerned, Cameron was her future. She desperately hoped he felt the same way. Oh now really! Kylie laughed. She always found it entertaining when Cameron overstated things. She hadn't quite learned whether or not he knew he was overstating, or if he did it purely to make her laugh. But really, she didn't care. It was funny. It was cute. She loved it. You're just being ridiculous now! Kylie continued to laugh. She was so incredibly happy, it was almost scary. Kylie shrugged and sighed a little when the subject of Clark came up. I dunno really....He doesn't seem very affectionate towards her. But some people are just that way until you get them alone, and then they're completely different.....People can be hard to read. It did bother her a bit that Clark seemed almost cold towards Haven. And Haven seemed almost self conscious about him being around. She'd get almost nervous and a little introverted. Kylie knew that Cameron wasn't the biggest Clark fan, but she wasn't really sure why. She figured if it was anything major he'd find a way to tell her. And since he hadn't, Kylie just assumed that the two didn't gel. Which was kind of a bummer, since Haven and Clark were getting married and hopefully, one day, Kylie and Cameron would be too. You don't think he's abusing her or anything...do you? Kylie's concern for her long sought after sister was evident in her speech and in her features. You won't need that silly old Clark to say anything to distract them...because they're not going to want to be distracted from you. They'll pick your brain for about 20 minutes and the they'll love you. Kylie the eternal optimist strikes again! She couldn't help it though. She was the sweetest, most sun-shiniest girl you'd probably every meet. Kylie stuck her tongue out at him, while he wrinkled up his nose. Incidentally she thought that was the cutest possible face he could ever make it. Taking another bite of her food, she stopped mid chew a moment later when he said he loved her. Kylie just started at him. It wasn't a look of shock, or horror, or disgust, but it wasn't blank either. It was kind of hard to explain. Maybe disbelief...but it a good way. It wasn't that she didn't know Cameron loved her of course. Every time they were together, he demonstrated it. But him verbalizing it was completely new and different and she liked it. When he said it again, this time, looking her straight in the eyes, Kylie's heart about stopped and she could hardly breath. Swallowing she numbly picked up her napkin and dapped her mouth. She didn't know what to say. Her immediate thought was to say "I love you too babe". But it seemed too...nonchalant for the first time. That would be okay for later on, when they'd had a few times to say it to each other. But this first time required more of an action. Without even realizing what she was doing, Kylie got up from her seat and moved towards Cameron. Looking into his eyes, she touched his cheek gently, and moved to a sitting position, straddling his lap. Kylie began to kiss him with more fire and more passion than she even knew was within her. Her delicate hands, began to play with the buttons on his stripped shirt, undoing them one by one, until it laid open, at which point, she began to remove it completely, all the while continuing to kiss him. When she had removed his shirt, she pulled up his undershirt, sliding her hands beneath it, her nails caressing his manly, yet still soft, skin. After a few minutes, she caught the edge with her fingers and pulled it over his head. Kissing along his jaw line, Kylie went till she had reached his ear. She nipped at his lobe, before she whispered Show me how much you love me. Moving her own head so she could look into his eyes, she could tell he was as ready for this as she was. [/ul]

Cameron eyed Kylie. Her face was unreadable. Not good. He needed to tread lightly with this subject. Very lightly. ”Four years.” He turned back to the food as he continued to prepare it. Something to distract himself while he thought over the best way to recount that night at the bar. ”Apparently they were seriously in love and they had a fight because he got some sort of record deal. He decided to just leave her behind without even goodbye knowing she’s had issues trusting people. I guess she has abandonment issues which made it hard for her to even say yes to dating him. And knowing that he still left her.” That was something that was unfair to do to that girl. It’d be one thing if it was for the better of the other person but this guy had did it for himself. Cameron would never put his own needs above Kylie’s. If he knew that she’d be better off without him f at ever reason then he’d let her go even if it was hard. That’d be better then him weighing her down. Like his father did with him.
Whenever him and Kylie kissed he had to hold himself back. Usually he knew his limits before he might do something inappropriate. He’d never force himself on her but his hands might go places they shouldn’t before she was ready. He was a gentleman there even if there were moments it was…difficult to hold back. She felt so good under his hands as he felt her pliable skin through her clothing. Her lips were warm and soft as they moved against his rougher ones. Just being this close to her sent a shot of fiery desire to his very core. But it wasn’t just lust, it was much more then that. When they pulled apart he licked his lower lip before he bit down on it. The way she looked at him really didn’t help with holding himself back. ”No I’m pretty sure I’d remember that. Maybe you shouldn’t get your Christmas gift then?”
Cameron matched her laugh where his lips turned up and traveled to his eyes. He loved her laugh. It was adorable as it seemed to gently shake her body, her mouth opening slightly. ”I am not! You don’t see how she looks at me sometimes. It’s so scary.” He did an exaggerated shutter to show that she really set his nerves on end. Well it wasn’t that bad but it was just a feeling he got. Maybe because of that first time they met his reaction to her saying who her fiancée was. That could be why she acted the way she did towards him. Still, it wasn’t enough to turn Cameron away from getting to know her. Now it wasn’t just for the sake of Kylie but because he saw their-his and Kylie’s that is-relationship going far. He really wanted to try to be friends with Haven so that there’d be no bad blood between them. If they could be friends it’d be beneficial with arranging surprises for Kylie.
When it became a bit more serious concerning Clark his smile faltered but not by much. At least not much on his lips. The humor had left his eyes completely. What he wanted to say was that he probably wasn’t affectionate to Haven because he gave all his affection to other girls. But no, he restrained himself as he did with so many other things. His jaw was tight, even as he chewed his food which was slow. ”Yeah he is a tough one to read.” He obviously was if Haven had no idea what he was doing when not in Hope Harbor. He set his utensils down and sipped his wine as a way to distract himself. ”Noi don’t think he’s doing anything like that but I don’t think he cares for her as much as she cares for him.” Yes, that was the best way to word this. If only he could feel out how Haven was feeling about getting to know Kylie. If there was enough progress maybe he could tell Kylie.
Cameron felt a little at ease about meeting her parents now but not completely so. It would be difficult no matter what. He was more nervous then he had been with other parents because he was deeply in love with her, even after just a few weeks. He needed this to go well for them. He wanted to see if they could keep this up and have a future. Of course they had to figure some things out because of the career she wanted but they could figure it out. Cameron would find a way to so that they could continue to let this relationship to grow for years and years. Of course he was beginning to wonder if she felt the same way. After he said he loved her she didn’t move. Her expression was blank and he began to panic. He knew it was too soon to say that. Why had he been such a fool? He took another couple sips of his wine to try to ease his nerves. Maybe she could ask her to forget this? No, this wasn’t something someone, especially a girl, could forget. Hopefully she didn’t run as far away from Cameron as possible.
Then she surprised him.
Kylie got up and moved towards Cameron. He moved his seat back slightly and was intent on getting up to explain himself. How he could explain just letting out that he loved her he didn’t know but he’d try to find a way. Though he’d probably end up rambling a bit. As he went to push up she went against his force and pressed against him in his seat. He looked upwards in her eyes with a confused look in his eyes with just a hint of desire behind them. When she began to kiss him his hands traveled to grip at her hips, pulling her down closer to him. His tongue darted into her mouth, searching for hers to move about together. While her hands moved along to unbutton his shirt his slipped just under her shirt so he could feel her delicate skin. Cameron’s fingertips went from the top of her spine down to the bottom just underneath her jeans. Still he didn’t remove an article of her clothing, even with his shirts tossed aside. No not until she pulled away from him. His chest heaved as he tried to catch his breath. Everything was just a list filled fog now.
He didn’t want to waste this moment with too many words. Cameron slipped her shirt off before his hands slid down her skin. When he got to her hips they went down to her legs as he shifted himself forward. He moved her legs so they went behind him before his hands gripped under her bottom before he used his upper body to pull her up as he went to stand. He pulled her in close to his chest as his mouth went about exploring her neck and shoulders. Little nips followed by kisses to sooth where he had just bit. When at his bedroom door he pressed her up against the door frame and pressed into her, groans traveling out of his mouth. He had waited so long for this but now that they were at the threshold of it he couldn’t help but pull back. One hand pushed back her hair as his breathing came hard and fast. ”Are you sure?” Cameron didn’t want her to think he was just saying that he loved her in order to get her into his bed tonight. No, he really did love her.

she replied in stark disbelief. There's got to be more to it than that. It just didn't make sense. People didn't change overnight. So either he never loved her at all, or there was a bigger reason as to why he'd left. Perhaps they'd fought and she'd said something to hurt him or some such thing. Kylie was no stranger to abandonment issues, only because Haven had gone through those emotions and Kylie was very sensitive to and about things that had happened to the older Stowe girl. Man! If anyone ever did something like that to Haven, I'd kill them. She spoke with a matter of fact tone. Kylie pouted again, when Cameron told her she might not get her Christmas presents. But then...I'll cry. She said in the most pitiful, whimpering tone she could muster. Not that he was serious, but Kylie knew she had Cameron wrapped around her little finger and could get just about anything she wanted out of him. Fortunately, Kylie was not the type of girl to take advantage of Cameron. Just knowing, was enough for her. And it filled her little heart with supreme joy and happiness and made her love Cameron even more. Awww poor little boy Kylie teased and kissed his cheek. I'll make sure Haven doesn't bite you.....too hard. Winking, she laughed at her own joke. Kylie often amused herself, but in a sweet, innocent way. Not an arrogant, stuck up way. Kylie was a mature, beautiful, competent, woman. But she still had the air of innocence and sweetness that many woman her age had lost because life had been hard on them, or they'd turned into complete sluts when they hit high school and even worse complete sluts when they graduated. But not Kylie. She had been raised to respect others and herself. To be sweet, charming, and kind. And she was. A look of relief washed over Kylie's little face when Cameron said he didn't think that Clark was abusing her. Kylie had always been attached to the idea of her sister, but now that she had met her and was forming an actual relationship with her, she was even more attached to and a little protective of Haven. If Clark was abusing her, Kylie wouldn't hesitate to call the cops on the guy. No one, was going to hurt her sister. As Kylie kissed Cameron, all she could think was H loves me!! I mean I knew he did, but he said it! Cameron said "I love you Kylie" It made her want to squeal with joy! Kylie could feel his hands on her skin, raising goosebumps in the trail of his tantalizing fingertips. His tongue in her mouth, filling her with his own sweet taste. His breath on her neck. All her senses were so heightened. Desire filled her to the very soul. When he finally pulled away and removed her shirt a long breathe escaped her lips and then he went back to kissing her, while his hands moved down her body, until they had reached underneath her and pulled her up so that her legs and arms were secured about him. Kylie moaned as he began to kiss her neck and shoulders, nipping now and again as he pressed her between himself and the door frame. She leaned her head to one side, to give him more access. The waves of pleasure sweeping over her body were unlike anything she'd ever felt. Kylie had, had sex one other time. But it had been just that, sex. She'd been curious and her boyfriend too, but they hadn't been in love. They hadn't even known what love was. So they'd slept together and she regretted it, simply because it had lacked passion and true feeling. They had done it, just to see what everyone else was talking about and it hadn't been fulfilling. But with Cameron, she knew it would be different. They were in love with each other, truly, deeply. They weren't about to have sex. They were about to express their love for one another in the deepest way they possibly could. That was something truly beautiful. Cameron pulled away, leaving her panting. His own breath caressed her face as he held her. Kylie looked into his gorgeous eyes, seeing the love there, as he pushed her hair back, ever so gently. Cameron was so gentle and kind and loving to her. It made her feel respected, loved, and wanted. Kylie swallowed, bit her lip and tilted her head. Continuing to stare into his eyes. She nodded. Mmmmhmmm. There was confident surety in her melodic voice. Kylie leaned in to kiss him again, her nails pressing into his back and her body's want for him grew more intense. She moaned into the kiss and after a few seconds, she pulled away and whispered I love you, Cameron. Kylie wanted to say it before they went the whole way. The reason being, she didn't want him to think she'd waited to see how he was in bed to make up he r mind. Kylie simply wasn't like that. [/ul]

Cameron shrugged. ”He said they fought and she thought he went home but instead he flew off. I don’t know what she could’ve said to him during the fight but even so he just left and that was that.” This guy wasn’t a friend or anything so part of him felt bad for telling Kylie was then again it was barroom chat. He was sure more then just him had heard the conversation. That’s why one never used names when talking someplace public like that. Despite Kylie’s serious tone, Cameron laughed at how she said she’d kill anyone who did that to Haven. ”I think she can hold her own.” Cameron didn’t know everything that happened to Haven as Kylie was reluctant to tell him everything but he knew about her adoption being dissolved. That had to be difficult to handle at such a young age.
”Your little tears shall not move me. I am made of stone.” Ok that was a lie for sure but he could still try to act like he had some willpower against her. Usually when he stood his ground it didn’t last long at all. But the way she broke him down is because he loved her so it was all worth it. Anyone else he wouldn’t break so easy. Well, except with her sister but that was for different reasons. ”I betcha she has fangs. Oh yeah. So if she bit me I’d turn into a vampire then I’d have to turn you.” Cameron moved down to nip at her neck playfully before he pulled away from her. This was really turning out to be the best holiday season he had had since moving to Maine. Sure Sydni invited him over but it wasn’t the same. At least with Kylie with was fun and filled with playfulness and love.
Kylie’s lips were soft as they moved against his and so sweet. He drank in her scent as she was pressed close to him, his body temperature rising. When his bare chest pressed against her mostly bare body the skin on skin contact heightened the man’s nerves more. He wanted to explore every inch of her body. Not just his hands but his lips as well. Her skin was pale and smooth like a statues but oh so soft like a woman should be. His hands slid up her back to pull her down towards him further. This chair was not the place for this. Cameron wanted to see and feel and taste every inch of her creamy figure. He wanted to feel her figure tangle up with her, not their bodies stiff as they tried to balance on this old thing and like it was nothing. No, this was their first time together. It wasn’t nothing and Cameron would do this right and take his time with her to bring her to the edge and back several times over. She wanted him to show her that he loved her and he would do that.
Where Cameron gently bit down into her skin was visible, the red a stark contrast to her pale skin. Between that and her moans of pleasure, he was all the more excited by the moment. Still he pulled just enough rational thought to make sure that she did want this. He didn’t want her to feel like she had to as it wasn’t as great unless she was willing. When she confirmed she did and kissed him a groan left his own lips as her nails dug into his shoulders. He felt ready to explode with his emotions already. When she finally said she loved her that was all he needed. Cameron pulled her away from the door frame and set her on the bed beneath him. A hand ran down the side of her body as he looked deep into her eyes for a moment. When he leaned down to entrap her lips again he started off with a bit less of the raw nature of before and instead was soft and loving.
He pushed her further up the bed before he proceeded to further remove her clothing slowly, teasing her before he gave in to what they both wanted....

Cameron was excluded from this comment of course. He was a real man, she knew. Kylie sighed with regret in her tone. But if he's sincere about working things out and getting back with her, than I wish them both the best. Kylie was the never say die type of person. And if she wanted something, she'd fight until she got it. That was evidenced by the fact that, though it had taken her over a decade of hard work and research, Kylie had found her sister. She hadn't let anyone stop her from achieving the goal and in her mind, it had been worth waiting all these years to meet the woman. Well I'm sure she could. Kylie agreed. But it seems to me, she's been doing so for so long, she's liable to crumble one of these days. Kylie was worried for Haven, in the sense that, if one more bad thing was dropped on her plate she might just have a total nervous break down. That happened more than people knew. A person was only made to handle so much. Haven had had her fair share. She's a strong woman...probably the strongest woman I've ever met... Kylie spoke with respect and adoration. But that can't go on indefinitely....in my opinion. Kylie shrugged. That was another great thing about Kylie. While she had her opinion she always left space for herself to be wrong, because being wrong wasn't something she was afraid of. Being wrong was something she always learned valuable lessons from, despite the fact that it wasn't necessarily a regular occurrence. Oh really, now? Kylie asked, making sexy eyes at him. She knew she could break him down if she really wanted to and sometimes she did. But it wasn't something she did all the time, because what would be the fun in that, for either of them? Kylie moaned as he bit her and smiled at his comment. Then we would be immortal... and we could truly be together forever. she thought to herself. I'd miss my sunflower seeds though...I love sunflower seeds She wrinkled up her nose. You better carry a cross with you...because I really don't want to be a vampire. Kylie giggled sweetly. She loved these stupidly funny conversations they had with one another. Whoever said "love is not being afraid to be stupid together" spoke with all the wisdom in the world. Kylie released moans of pleasure as Cameron laid her on the bed, and began to tease her body. Her nails moved up and down his back and over his chest and shoulders, digging in here and there and leaving little red marks. Cameron's hands and lips caused sensations in areas that she never thought could be aroused and the sensations were beyond anything she could ever have imagined in her wildest dreams. ---- fade out/in ----
Kylie lay next to Cameron in bed, her head wrested on his chest as he held her in his loving embrace, their naked bodies, covered by the blankets, still entwined, unwilling to release. Kylie was exhausted, but in the most amazing, wonderfully satisfying way ever. This sort of exhaustion was something she knew she would welcome many times in the future, not that she planned to be come sex crazy and do it all the time. But she was sure there were to be many special occasions in the future, where they would enjoy each other the way they had this afternoon. Cameron and been so gentle and thoughtful. Some men didn't take the time to arouse the woman before doing the deed. They were selfish in their sexual advances. But Cameron had made love to her in such a passionate, yet tender way, Kylie didn't know exactly how he had accomplished it. Unlike her first time, she actually felt respected. Kylie had given him leave make love to her and it was nothing but pure, unadulterated love that he had expressed. It wasn't lust, of just the need to relieve his own tugging need. It had been love and she'd never felt more special in all her life. Looking up at him, she viewed him in a whole new light. She loved him more than she ever thought possible. How could she care for another person this much?! It was wonderful. Kylie felt so vulnerable, but it was a good vulnerable. She hadn't known it was possible for vulnerableness to be a good thing! As Kylie laid there, her finger traced in random patterns around her chest, the timid smile couldn't be wiped from her lips. I didn't think it was possible to be so in love with another person. she said, barely above a whisper. [/ul]

As Cameron laid there his breathing was heavy as he tried to steady his heart rate. His arms wrapped around Kylie and held her close to his chest. His hand brushed at her hair as his head laid back against his pillow. The two of them had been incredible. All the emotions that came out as they explored one another. Yes, that’s what making love was truly like compared to just sex. Cameron had been with a couple other women but nothing as intense as this. Him and Kylie allowed things to mature emotionally first. All those emotions came crashing out as their bodies tangled together. Only after they were both spent did he fall on his back and pull her into his arms.
Cameron was never a guy who shied away from “spooning” after being with a woman. Mainly because whenever he was with someone he was in a relationship with them. There had been one time where that wasn’t the case but only once. Despite enjoying his time with Kylie he would continue the same as before with not pushing her. That didn’t mean he wouldn’t continue to playfully tease her. Still if she asked him to stop he would. Just because they had been together tonight didn’t mean he expected it all the time. Cameron loved and respected her. She wasn’t an object for him to use for his own needs. Some men may think that way but not Cameron. When with Kylie he always made sure to take care of her first and that didn’t apply to just intimate moments such as this. That thought process applied to all aspects of their relationship.
His eyes remained closed as exhaustion took him over which was fairly normal for most guys. Cameron didn’t seem to be an exception. Still, he held Kylie close to him. His grip loosened as he felt her body shift. He wasn’t asleep but if that woman kept running her fingers over his skin like that he would be soon! When she mentioned never knowing about being this in love he beamed a huge grin. ”Mmmm?” Cameron shifted his body so he rolled on his side. He brought one arm to bend under his head while the other pulled her flush against him. Cameron’s legs pulled hers between his to tangle back with one another. ”You didn’t think it was possible at all or just possible to be so in love with me?” He couldn’t help but add a little humor. She seemed slight nervous and he wanted to ease that. He pressed a lingering kiss to her shoulder as he breathed her in. His fingers trailed a path up and down her back as he moved to look back at her. ”You know the day we met I knew you were someone special. There was a spirit about you that I loved, yet you were so humble and sweet. Then when you told me about finding your sister that’s what sealed it for me. I could tell you already loved her very much and you hadn’t even met her yet. That really took my breath away.” Yes, Cameron was being a giant sap but he didn’t care. That’s what a man did when he was in love. No matter how tough you were when you found that one person you just broke down all those defenses, even if it was just for that one person.

Kylie said softly. And she believed it. At least, about any girl that her head on semi-straight. Cameron was one heck of a guy. He was one of a very few that actually knew what it meant to be a man and to live up to ones responsibilities. Kylie not only loved and respected him, but she admired him. You're one in a million...and I'm not just saying it. I really truly mean it Cameron. Kylie ran her fingers through his soft blondish-brown hair, giving him a loving look. Kylie gave a happy sigh as she felt his hands exploring her body more. She wished things could always be like this. Just the two of them, making love and lying in one another's arms. If that was all they did for the rest of their lives, she would be the happiest woman in the world. Not that she wanted be if they didn't. But the point was that Kylie wasn't hard to please. She wasn't necessarily easy, but she wasn't hard. Kylie couldn't help but smile as he talked about that first day they met and how he knew so quickly that she was not only special in general, but that she would be special to him. Are you saying it was love at first sight? Kylie teased. Cuddling even closer to him, she kissed his chest. I have to admit...I "set my cap" for you. She giggled lightly. When first I saw you, I told Brooklyn I was going to get you to ask me out...and I did. Kylie told him. Someway...somehow...I just knew that you and just had to be something together....and now we are and I'm so glad. Leaning up she kissed him on the lips. Ready for your Christmas present? she asked. Grabbing the sheet, she tugged it lose, and wrapped it around herself. Getting out of the bed, she left the room, her little feet padding across the floor, retrieved the gift bag from beside the door, and walked back to the room. Plopping down on the bed, Kylie smiled at him and handed him the bag. It's nothing super spectacular...but I think you'll like it. In the bag was a frame that contained a Picture of them. Kylie's favorite one. When Cameron pulled it out of the bag, Kylie spoke. That's the one from the clambake you took me to....Our first date. Kylie kissed his cheek. Kylie was the kind of person that liked to give memories as gifts and not so much any old thing one could buy at a store. Store bought had its place. But Kylie felt in this instance, their first Christmas, it was better to give something from the heart. [/ul]

Cameron pretended the slap hurt, a laugh coming out as he went ‘ow’ in an exaggerated manner. He poked at her shoulder while keeping eye contact. ”Oh? Miss Big Heart didn’t think it was possible to love so much? Interesting.” A sigh left his lips as she said any girl could fall in love with him. What was with it that girls said things like that? Ok guys did it too but it felt weird actually hearing it. Cameron didn’t even like to think about anything like that. He was curled up with no clothing on next to Kylie. That comment was awkward. ”Well those other girls can go wait for their perfect man. I’m taken.” His arms circled around Kylie to pull her in for a firm but loving kiss. It felt good to feel her body pressed against his like so. Even though they had stopped kissing he couldn’t fully pull away from her. He was enjoying the way her smooth skin felt against his slightly rough hands. The amount of times he washed them each day left them a little on the rough side. Hers though, despite some places he could notice she had pricked herself, were soft and smooth. Kylie’s entire form was like that and Cameron enjoyed it immensely. She had curves in all the right spots and loved to run his palm over them. She was completely and utterly perfect in every way. He could spend all day and night just like this-slowly worshipping every inch of her but they couldn’t be that lucky. Not this time. Cameron’s brows knitted together in thought though his smile remained. ”I don’t know, maybe. I’ve only ever loved someone else before but not this deep. And we were friends for a long time.” Cameron wished he could say for sure it was love at first sight but something like that was so hard to define. He definitely felt a strong attachment to her from the beginning. ”It was more like a pull then falling in love. I felt like I had to have you near me no matter what from that first instance.” Cameron hoped he hadn’t spoiled the moment because he was enjoying them being completely honest like this. Though she may have giggled his face held a seriousness along the edges of his own smile but that caved quickly into straight laughter. ”Oh so this was a set up? What did you have your hopes to bag a rich doctor or something?” His fingers went from tenderly stroking her skin to tickling at her sides. He eased up while laughter fell force from his lips. ”I’m glad too. Truly.” He brushed some hair back as his eyes looked over her beautiful face. ”What? That wasn’t my present?” He teased out as she walked away. Cameron himself rolled from his bed and grabbed her gift off the dresser. His heart pounded as he sat with his back against the headboard down. He had put a lot of thought into this gift and he hoped she liked it. When she came in he got to open his gift first. A wide smile appeared on his lips as he looked over it. He remembered that day well. Cameron ahd gotten her to try all sorts of new foods and they talked all about Kylie’s journey finding her sister. From there their conversations grow over that following week until Cameron ahd told her every important thing in his life. That was an amazing day. Cameron leaned forward and cupped on hand along her cheek and pressed a deep kiss to her lips. ”I love it. Now just where to put it.” He chuckled before he handed her, her gift. Inside there was a set of five sketch books with fabric covers and a set of professional sketching pencils. Each sketch book had the quote ‘Do not follow where the path may lead.. Go instead where there is no path, and leave a trail…’ printed on the inside that he had written with meticulous skill. ”I thought since you were going to be starting your own line you might need some new sketchpads and sketching pencils. There’s a store in town that made those special. No one else will have that design for a sketch pad or journal.”
