history : Zoe was born in Chicago, IL. Her parents are Dean and Beatrice. Her mother had her when she was young. Her father and mother were high school sweethearts but they ended up breaking up when Zoe was born. They were never married. Zoe never knew her father, by the time she was old enough to walk and talk Dean was sent away to prison with a life sentence for 1st degree murder. He has sent her birthday/holiday cards throughout her life but she never bothered to open them or even respond back. She never truly knew why she had so much hatred for her father, he wanted to be in her life even though he was in prison but maybe it was the fact that he killed someone that made her hate him so much.
Growing up, Zoe had a somewhat hard life. Her mother was a single mother and raising two kids by herself was not easy. Beatrice was always struggling to pay the bills and even provide food. Her mother was working two jobs. When Zoe was younger, she felt bad for her mom and wished she could do anything to help her. She felt so helpless. But even though they struggle a lot, her mother always had a smile on her face. Zoe loved her mother for that.
High school was a breeze for Zoe. She wasn't no genius but she did get decent grades. Her social life? Not so much. All Zoe did was study homework and go to work. She barely had the time for her family, friends and even a relationship. She worked so much because she wanted to help her mom with the bills. She graduated high school while being on the honor roll and she even got a scholarship to a community college in the area. Beatrice was so proud of her daughter.
Zoe already knew what she wanted to do with her life and that was to be a writer. She had a passion for writing and she wanted to write a ton of books. As things were going great for Zoe. Things were always going well for her Beatrice. Her and her twin sister decided to open up their very own hair salon. What they didn't know that it would be so successful. Zoe was really happy for her mom, she didn't have to struggle anymore.
Zoe graduated college with a degree in writing and she always met her best friend, Ana in college. Ana also had a passion for writing and they hit it off instantly.
As for the reason to coming to Maine, well Zoe wanted to start her life fresh and go somewhere quiet to write her book. She knew for sure she wouldn't be able to concentrate on her book living in busy Chicago. But at the same time, she knew it would be a hard move being away from her family and best friend, it was for the best though.

Linda shrugged her shoulders and began to do her morning jog. Her heart was beating faster as she ran even faster. The morning jog turned into a morning run. Looking at nothing but the pavement while each foot hit the pavement. 10 minutes passed when she finally decided to stop. She through her head back and screamed. She didn't care who was listening. She was getting sick and tired of everything and everyone. When she couldn't screamed anymore, she felt her phone vibrate in her pocket. Knowing who it was she didn't even bother saying hello. "He's having a affair, Chelsea. I have no idea what to do. Do I stay and it out? Or does that make me coward? Should I leave and find a man that will treat me better than him? Help me, please."
As she listened to her friends advice, she began to do something that she kept build up inside. She cried and she cried. She never cried so much in her life. She didn't even stop crying until her friend came to pick her up. Feeling a hot mess, she didn't feel like talking about it anymore. She just wanted to go home and go to sleep. Her life was about to change completely.
