Louis asked curiously. He moved down a few seats to sit next to the man. Cameron....what the heck are you doing here? You look awful! What's going on? He asked with genuine concern. It was the first time the two men had talked since the night of the ball. Louis had kept his word not to tell Haven about Clark, but he wondered if Cameron had held up his end of the bargain and told Haven about it. She had a right to know. She deserved to know that the man she planned to marry was by no means faithful to her. [/ul]

Cameron was miserable. He was worse then miserable-he was downright depressed. It had been a mistake to end things with Kylie. He knew that the moment she left his house but he thought he was doing right by her. After all, she didn’t need him to hold her back from her career in fashion. Especially since she had to do so much traveling and he couldn’t travel as much. But it had been horrible. She accused him of never loving her which hurt. Everything he did was because he loved her. Cameron tried to keep calm but emotions were high. Eventually she left and Cameron wept. Yes, he wept, because he knew as that door slammed it was a mistake.
This his phone rang. It was Oliver. Kylie had been in an accident. A bad one too. He fought with himself on whether to go or not but finally decided to go. That had been another wave of pain all over again. Kylie was hurt badly, mainly a pretty severe concussion. And she had had a miscarriage. A miscarriage! He hadn’t even known she was pregnant. Now Cameron had more reasons to weep-he was losing the woman he loved and their child all in one night. He had tried to be there for her but it hadn’t gone how he wanted. So he admitted defeat and left. Cameron drank himself into a stupor the next two days, maybe three. He had lost track of time. Finally Haven came in and talked sense into him to smarten up, that this wasn’t way to grieve. She got rid of all his booze and packed his things up. Yeah, she forced him to move to her house. Not that that was a terrible thing. As they talked they found common ground. They didn’t have parents(his father was out of the picture), both worked their behinds off to get where they were, both were emotionally damaged and both had lost their one true loves. So Cameron packed up his apartment, put his furniture in storage and moved in for good.
That was exactly five days ago in which he had been forced to move. Cameron had tried for a week straight to get a hold of Kylie. She refused to pick up his calls. Finally after calling her four or five times a day he gave up. Today was the day he admitted he defeat. He had a plan to make it up to her. Even if they didn’t get back together, he wanted to do this for her. Haven had given him permission to do it too. Which is why he was in Portland to begin with-to get the materials he needed. But there had been a mix up so he had to wait for some things. So he decided to make a trip down to the Old Port Inn. At Haven’s she had a strict no drinking policy for their sorrows. Confectionaries were fine, but not booze. He could deal with that but tonight he wanted a drink. Once settled at the bar, he ordered Jack Daniel’s on the rocks and dank down the first glass fairly quickly. He was milking the second one when he heard a familiar man’s voice. Cameron looked up. He knew he looked pretty ragged but didn’t care so much. There was no one worth looking nice for anymore. Cameron shrugged at Louis, not sure what to say. Of course Haven had told him everything! The two had gotten close recently so he knew everything that went down. They-him and Louis-were both idiots. ”I was picking up some wood here in Portland. They messed up so I have to wait overnight.” His gaze went far off. How was he doing? How did it look like he was doing. ”I broke up with Kylie, that’s what’s going on.” Oh how the tables had turned from when the first met two months ago…

He asked, cocking his head once again. Louis wasn't intending to pry, but it was quite obvious that Cameron needed to talk to another guy, one who might possibly understand what he was going through. But he did wonder why he wasn't pouring his troubles out to Kylie. Unless she was part of his troubles. Louis was basically...well dumbfounded when Cameron said he'd broke up with Kylie. WHAT?! He couldn't hide his shock and disbelief. Kylie and Cameron split? They were like, the world's most perfect couple! What was the world coming to? Are you kidding me? Louis set his beer down. You guys broke up with each other....or you actually broke up with her? He questioned. Louis knew he wasn't exactly in a spot to comment on something like this. But if Cameron had broken up with Kylie, than he was the second biggest idiot on the planet. Louis counted himself as the first. Anyway who broke up with one of the Stowe women had to be off their rocker. I can't believe I'm hearing this! Louis said, sounded rather flustered, almost angry. So what'd she do? I assume you had a good excuse for breaking up with her, right? I mean she did something really awful, like cheated on you or lied to you or something? Louis kinda hoped that was the case, only because he didn't want to lose all respect for Cameron. That's right. Louis respected the guy. He was hard working, thoughtful, took excellent care of Have and Kylie, always being there when they needed something. Kylie must have blown it....not Cameron. [/ul]

”I broke up with her.“ Cameron eyed Louis. Unlike Louis back in December, Cameron really wasn’t up for talking about his issues. Haven knew but that was different. Come to find out, Kylie’s parents had said the same crap to her. And here he thought he was doing her a favor because people thought he was the issue. Especially when she mentioned canceling some trips on Valentine’s Day. He had felt so guilty. Boy had he been wrong….so wrong. At least he was trying to reconcile things unlike Louis. Louis waited years before trying so him getting angry at the doctor was kind of bullshit in his eyes. Cameron’s fist balled in an attempt to not hit Louis right now.
Cameron set his empty glass in front of him to have it refilled. His jaw clenched in anger before he pounded his fist on the bar top. ”Hey! What f*cking right do you have to get angry at me? I didn’t break up with her for a selfish reason like my career like an asshole like you does. I broke up with her because she was going to jeopardize her damn career for me by canceling important meetings and sh*t and I wouldn’t allow her to do that. You f*cking left Haven for your own career knowing she had some major f*cking trust issues.” Oh, Haven ahd indulged everything to him. And Cameron had to hear her night terrors. Good thing he worked nights and could sleep during the day. The two had worked out a way where he could help her without crossing an bounds. He just felt awful that the nights he worked she was left in that house alone.
Cameron took a swig of his newly filled glass before he used his free hand to point at his own chest forcefully. ”At least I realized my mistake right after and I tried to fix the sh*t I caused.” Emotion clogged his throat that he swallowed back. He would not breakdown in front of this piece of garbage. Cameron bowed his head and rubbed his hands along his hair. This was so difficult to talk about. Just the thought made him want to cry. ”She got into an accident and lost our child so she’s not exactly in a forgiving mood. She won’t take my calls.“ Cameron shook his head as he brought it back up to look at Louis. His hand dropped so he could in turn point at the other man. ”But at least I tried. You waited four damn years to try and gave the hell up, even after Haven became single. So no, you have no f*cking right to judge me because now I have to deal with living with Haven and her seriously messed up psyche.” The two of them-Haven and Cameron-made an odd friendship but it worked out well enough.

Louis admitted, as if it wasn't something he had done before. I'm not exactly the person to be commenting...I get it. Louis sighed heavily. But don't you think that's for Kylie to decide? He asked meekly. Gosh, Louis could't imagine trying to convince a Stowe woman, that the man she loved was just in the way or holding her back from her career. I mean....If I know anything at all..it's that your career is never more important than the person you love...And I'm sure she tried to convince you of that, didn't she? He inquired cautiously. Louis looked down as Cameron spoke. Yah he was hot to trot, but who could blame him. Break ups were awful things, especially if you were really in love with someone. It hurt like heck. He should know. Soo..... Louis bit his lip and took a quick drink. If you realized your mistake.....why aren't you back at Haven's fixing it, instead of here drowning your sorrows in a bottle? Louis' want trying to make fun or anything. He meant the question genuinely. She must not have been in a very forgiving mood. And Cameron's next comment confirmed that. Louis' mouth literally dropped open. His hand came up to wipe over his face, as he sighed heavily. Cameron...I'm so sorry man....Look.... he shook his head. If there's anything I can do...please, let me know.....I mean...maybe I could try and talk to her.... And then he shook his head again. Never mind...that's a terrible idea...she'd kill me...Just lemme know if I can help at all. Louis finished his drink and nearly choked on it as he heard Cameron say Haven was single. Coughing he dropped the glass on the bar top. What the heck did you just say?! Haven was single? What he heck?! And she never even told him? Well he couldn't blame her, after that fight they'd had. And....well, he'd said he wasn't going to come back. Haven probably just gave up...though that wasn't like her...not the Haven he knew. Cameron...what happened, when?! Louis asked quickly, leaning forward in his seat. [/ul]

Cameron wasn’t trying to piss Louis off. Ok, maybe he was a little but he was hoping the guy would bug off and leave him alone. Plus, as stated prior, he had stopped fighting for Haven so there was right to judge at all. Still, he got his temper under contorl so he didn‘t have another outburst like his first one. ”It was more then her saying she would cancel stuff. Her parents have practically been harassing me for the past month telling me I was hinder her future. It got to be too much.” One of Cameron’s hands went to run through his hair and tug on it. Tears threatened to spill over but he blinked them back before he swallowed. Cameron may come off tough but there were his moments he had his breakdowns. Such as the anniversary of his mom’s death. He may not have very many memories of her-in fact most were very vague-but that didn’t stop the pain he felt. Just like nothing could stop the pain he felt over letting Kylie go. Stupid, stupid mistake!
”She did but I couldn’t exactly tell her, her parents told me the same thing I was thinking, could I?” Cameron pushed at his glass in thought before he shook his head. ”She left Hope Harbor. Once she was out of the coma and stable enough, her parents took her back to Chicago.” One couldn’t exactly fix a relationship when she was hundred of miles away. Plus, her parents had basically threatened him if he ever came near their daughter again. He highly doubted he’d be allowed anywhere near her if he went to Chicago at this present moment in time. All he could do was pray Kylie came back to visit Haven or finally return one of his dozens upon dozens of messages. He did chuckle at the thought of Louis talking to Kylie. ”No she pretty much still hates you so you pleading my case wouldn’t exactly work out very well for either of us.” There really wasn’t anything anyone could do.
Cameron shot Louis a quizzical look. He didn’t know Haven was single? Well that was…shocking. ”Dude, she’s been single for well over a month now. Figured you would’ve known. I pegged you as the type to stalk her Facebook like a lovesick puppy dog.” Cameron took another sip of his drink. How much should he really indulge to Louis. After some thought he figured telling him it all wouldn’t do harm. Not like Haven could get mad at him-half of Hope Harbor knew what Clark had done. ”Yeah, apparently some girl came into Haven’s shop and said she had slept with Clark but didn’t know he was with someone. I guess this girl was at the Charity Ball and saw or heard he was engaged to Haven. Haven left like right after, went to Augusta, and confirmed it when she found some lingerie that wasn’t hers in the apartment. She broke it off right there. Came home, cleared out his crap and I drove it to Augusta which seemed like the safe choice.”
Cameron took pause. ”It’s why she told me to move into the house. She left Clark and you stopped coming around. Kylie’s gone and they can‘t talk on the phone for very long because of Kylie‘s concussion. And she’s having some sort of mental breakdown. The woman bakes all the damn time. I mean all the time. And her personality has been…weird. Like a Stepford wife! Even when I have to wake her up when she screams at night, she just pastes on a smile, makes a joke about it and goes back to sleep like it was nothing. I’ve been worried about her.” Cameron probably just told Louis more then Haven might want him to know but the guy had a right to know. Haven had been off her rocker. Others might not think so but to Cameron, this just didn’t seem like normal Haven at all.

Louis knew that look that Kylie gave Cameron because it was the same one that Haven gave him. Cameron meant more to Kylie than literally anything else in the world. He truly could not imagine the devastation she must have been feeling. If Louis had been in Cameron's shoes, he would have ignored her parents. He wasn't sure if that made him a better or a worse man than Cameron. I dunno...that's a hard one. Louis replied honestly. Tell a girl that her parents were the one coming between them? Maybe it would have been better....because right now, she probably thinks it's something she did and her parents are either going to agree with her, or just say that you never loved her in the first place and so you weren't worth it....But mark it down, they're never going to own up to it. If Haven's parents (that's of course if she'd had any when they met), had tried to come between them, Louis probably would have told them off and if they still insisted, he would have at least told Haven what was up, or sat down with all of them and tried to work things out. Louis thought back to what Cameron said about Kylie refusing to return his calls. Y'know...maybe it's not that Kylie's refusing your calls...Maybe it's that she doesn't know you are calling...Her parents are probably fielding her calls man. Parents sucked sometimes. Louis knew if he found that's what was going on and Kylie had been his girl, he'd have ripped her parents up one side and down the other. What's the worst that could happen now if Cameron did such a thing? Kylie would hate him more? Louis heart was in his throat, pounding out loud, frantic rhythms. He shook his head in the negative, swallowing. I don't even have a computer, or an email address, or a smart phone, or anything, just an old flip phone, let alone a facebook account. he explained, fully expecting Cameron and anyone else who may have been listening into the conversation, a strange look. He got it all the time. People thought if you weren't tech savvy, or didn't really want to get into all this crazy, expensive, stuff, that there must be something wrong with you. Louis shook his head, getting angry now, as Cameron explained further. But he wasn't angry with Haven. No he was angry with Clark and he was angry that Haven had, had to find out from one of his hoes that he was cheating on her. But perhaps it was best for her to hear it from one of the sources, rather then a friend. Either way though, it was tragic, and just thinking about how hurt Haven must have been, pained Louis inexplicably. What a worthless piece of trash. Yah, Louis knew he had wronged Haven too, but at least the thought of cheating on her, let alone the act, had never once crossed his mind. Louis put his head in his hand. This whole conversation was just making him sick and anxious. Hearing about the nightmares was the worst part. I'm sure she told you about our latest brawl, about one of her nightmares...that night....it was like she was having a seizure or something... Louis hesitated Is it...always that bad? Haven was having a mental break down, he knew exactly what Cameron was talking about, because that's how she'd been when he came into her life. Look...Cameron...I have to get her back...I can help her...I'm probably the only one who really can...But I really need your help....You say you're living there now? He asked. Alright, well then if I come round, really early, morning after tomorrow, will you let me in? Louis had quite the plan up his sleeve and he was pretty darn sure it would work too.[/ul]

Cameron wouldn’t know what parents did and din’t think were best. He had no experience with that kind of thing. Sure, his grandparents had their views but that was different. And his father never gave a crap about him so he already knew that man’s thought process. ”Yeah well I’m not best for her now. She ended up wrecking her car and in coma after we broke up. I’m pretty sure I even top you in the list of shitty break up situations.” Cameron hated to say that but it was true. Knowing she got in that accident after their break up was hard on him. And knowing if he hadn’t been stupid they’d be starting a family especially killed him. That was a guilt which would never dissipate. It’s why he was here, today, because Haven had told him about the baby and Kylie losing it. Cameron felt sick with guilt as more grief piled on.
”If she ever speaks to me again, it’s not like it’s unreliable. They actually told Haven the exact same thing and Haven has the messages on a tape from her answering machine. Mine automatically deleted off my cell after two weeks.” No way to stop that way but at least Haven still had some proof that Kylie’s parents were doing that. He just wish he had known they said those things to her as well before he made such an irrational decision. As he finished off his drink, he set it down but declined a refill. Eventually he’d trudge back to this hotel and pass out.
His shoulders shrugged. ”The thought crossed my mind but she picks up when Haven calls. Her parents thought Haven was holding her back, too, so I don’t get why they’d allow her calls to go through. You’d think they’d want to stop both of them.” Granted, their calls were brief but they were happening. That just stung him even more. Still, Cameron was finding a way to pull through. He always did. ”Haven offered to talk to her for me but I don’t want to put her in that position. Instead I’m building her a studio so if and when she comes back to Maine, she has her own place to do her work. It’ll have everything she needs. Even if she doesn’t forgive me and doesn’t want to be with me anymore, hopefully she’ll at least see I do love her.”
Cameron snorted as he laughed. ”Seriously? Not even an email in case your big time, fancy manager needs to show you things and you’re not around?” No wonder he didn’t know! Haven said she wasn’t going to call Louis to tell him and if he wasn’t linked into any sort of social media, it’d be a bit difficult for him to know what was happening. Cameron scratched at his jaw, nodding in agreement to Clark being trash. ”Don’t worry, I wasn’t very gentle when I brought his things. He obviously had a few words to say about that but whatever. I also just left everything in his parking lot and let him trudge it up alone.”
Cameron turned his gaze away from Louis as he nodded. ”She did.” He paused. ”At this point with how much we’ve been talking she’s pretty much told me everything.” His fingers drummed along the bar top thoughtfully. He had his own thoughts about things but was trying not to let them come out harshly. ”I know Haven said some awful things but she’s not “doping herself” Louis. I told her to get one those pills because she started to get bad insomnia back on December.” Cameron didn’t even piece together that the stress of Kylie and Louis coming into her life was what might be the cause of her insomnia. To him that just didn’t seem logical.
”Yeah, pretty much. What’s weird is she didn’t even do it right after the break-up but when Kylie asked if she was going to tell-“ Cameron cut himself off and cleared his throat out instead of finishing with ‘you’ like he had planned. ”Anyways, she bakes almost daily, even if it’s something small. And she has become obsessive about cleaning the house. It’s like she never wants to sit still or it to be quiet. No one seems concerned though.” Cameron wasn’t even sure if it was something to be concerned about. To him, though, he felt like the sudden personality shift was really weird. He scoffed at Louis’ next words. ”Seriously? You’re a little full of yourself aren’t you? I’m sure there are plenty of others who could help her.” Actually he wasn’t sure about that. From what haven had told him, yeah, Louis had pretty much been unique in what could be done for her. ”Yeah…” Cameron got off pretty lucky with living there. He just had to help with utilities and nothing else. That knocked his bills in half each month.
He thought over Louis’ request for a moment. On one hand, the guy seemed like he really wanted to make things right. On the other hand, despite getting closer with Haven he was still terrified of the woman. ”Fine. I’ll help. But you have to convicne Haven not to kill me after.”

Louis suggested. It was better for Kylie to know the truth. Truth isn't the best policy, it's the only policy. Even if she rejected it, at least they would know they had told her and what they had told her, had been true. If Louis was Cameron, he wouldn't have been able to stand her thinking the break up was what he actually wanted. But Louis wasn't Cameron and so Cameron would deal with this all in his own way. If she doesn't believe Haven....she can play the message for her. Kylie wouldn't be able to deny that, as hard as it would be for her to accept. But in the long run, she'd be happier with Cameron. No Louis said simply. They're being manipulative Cameron. He was frustrated, but not with Cameron, with Kylie's parents. Why would Haven not want to call. She's Kylie's sister! They're close...or at least getting close, from what Haven told me at the ball....What excuse could her parents possibly come up with for Kylie not to be hearing from her? He asked. But! You're the ex boyfriend...They got you to break up with her, and now their keeping your calls from her. Because really, why would the ex-boyfriend who's responsible, at least in part, for her accident, want to call talk to her? It all made perfect sense to Louis. I could be wrong...but it does seem to add up pretty well. Louis wasn't trying to make Cameron feel worse. He was attempting to give him hope, that if Kylie was provided with evidence that this hadn't been Cameron's fault, then they could get back together. Louis nodded. I understand. Yah, it probably wasn't good to put Haven in that position. By the sounds of it, she had enough to deal with. Especially with Kylie back in Chicago now. Haven's worst fear about letting Kylie in was having her leave. And now she had, but not by her own choice. So hopefully, that made it easier on the poor woman. She had been through enough for 5 lifetimes. Louis laughed and shook his head No...just my phone...Calls and texts only. He didn't even like the texting part, but it was kind of hard to avoid these days and sometimes it was convenient. Like when you couldn't just answer the phone and talk, but you could text. People pretty much thought Louis was from the dark ages. But he didn't care what they thought. He was happy with his net-free life. I can imagine he did...That guy was an ass...I dunno what she saw in him. He referenced Haven's, now ex, as he was just finding out, Clark. It made him mad that such a guy had ever even made it that close to her. Louis looked down at the floor, biting his upper lip as Cameron assured him that Haven wasn't doping herself. Well that's good to know...i was just so worried about her that night...Like I said. I'd never seen her that bad....Just threw me for a loop. And then to have her wake up and freak out at me, when I was just trying to help....Not exactly what I had expected....But none of that matters now. he concluded. Louis was happy it was something Cameron had prescribed to her. He knew she was safe in Cameron's capable hands, though as a general rule, Louis didn't really trust doctors. Cameron was different though. Arrogant or not...it's true. Louis said with confidence. She's been to plenty of other people...Doctors, Therapists, Shrinks...you name it, she's gone....And where has it gotten her. Sleeping pills and horrific nightmares....From the time she was old enough to remember the abuse in the foster homes, the only time she didn't have those nightmares, was when she and I were together. Louis explained. It really wasn't arrogant, it was just true. Louis knew how to comfort her, he knew how she worked and what she needed, and he knew the two of them desperately needed each other, for different reasons yes, but the need was there. Thanks man...I owe you... Like I owe you so big, it's not even funny. Louis clasped his hand on Cameron's shoulder. I won't let her kill you. I promise. he laughed a little. Cameron had just given Louis his second chance, and he was going to make the most out of it. He was sure now, that he could indeed get Haven back and he knew exactly how he was going to do it.[/ul]

Cameron shrugged. He really didn’t want to put Haven in that position. The woman was already helping him out so much. Plus, with them talking, he knew how complicated things could get with Haven because of her past. Cameron didn’t want to complicate things even more. ”Maybe. We’ll see what happens. I don’t want Haven in the crosshairs if I can help it.” Cameron was a man who liked to handle his problems on his own. It’s why he fought all the women in his life as they tried to “help” him after Kylie had left. For someone who supposedly knows Haven, you’d think Louis would realize why Cameron couldn’t involve the older Stowe woman.
Cameron rubbed at his temple. There was no denying the thought of her parents screening his calls had gone through his mind. It had gone through it several times in fact. Just he was too hurt to care either way. He was making an effort. He knew he had been in the wrong and was trying to apologize. Still, it’s not like that mattered. Nothing Cameron did was ever right. Even with correcting himself that never seemed to matter. It was annoying. ”Even if your right what the hell does it matter? Obviously she doesn’t even care. The few times Haven has mentioned my Kylie doesn’t seem to care. I’m done chasing her. I will build this studio for her but I’m not going to continue to attempt to make contact when it’s all to no avail.” He wanted to say ’at least I have other plans’ but didn’t want to cause troubles in the middle of the bar.
Cameron didn’t know if him and Louis would ever be friends. Right now he wanted to punch the guy in the face. He understood he may still care about Haven and may feel bad for leaving her but Haven had told Cameron everything. And he cared about this woman like she was a sister so knowing some idiot broke her heart? Yeah, that didn’t settle well with him. He popped his jaw in and out of place before he exhaled some air. His voice was dangerously low. ”She said she knew even if he hurt her it’d never be ask bad as when others had hurt her because she could hold back and he didn’t care.” Cameron normally wasn’t like this but he had so many emotions rolled up into one that it was hard to keep everything back. Really hard.
Cameron scratched at the side of his head as he listened to Louis. Yeah, a lot of it lined up with what Haven had told him but other things were seriously pissing him off. Part of it was probably misdirected because of his anger towards Kylie’s parents. ”I don’t get why you’d even think she was doping herself up? For a guy who supposedly knows her that was a pretty harsh. It may not matter to you but it really hurt her. Actually half the shit you said that night hurt her. She may have stayed with Clark even after I told her he was cheating but that didn’t mean she was in love with him.” Cameron shook his head before he tilted his head forward slightly. ”Did she tell you the nightmares started right after you left? Pretty much the night after she brought your crap to your parents. Or that she lost over twenty pounds in eight months because she couldn’t keep even water down some days? Even now I feel like I have to force her to slow down some days before she passes out. The only time she shows emotions other then her robot self is when I wake her up from those nightmares and make her talk to me. So yeah, I know all about her, the abuse and you and still I stick by despite having no reason to.”
Cameron was in a very protective mode and it was just all spilling out. His nostrils flared as he reached the end of his rant. ”You say you’re the best thing for her but since you started pushing her these last few times you saw her has done nothing but stress her out more. So if you want to fix this it better be for good, Louis. Haven deserves better then that. Clark wasn’t the only ass to mess up her life.” Cameron knew Haven would never say half of these things to Louis but Cameron had no issues doing it. Maybe it was just because he was angry at Kylie’s parents. Or maybe because he was angry at himself for all the things he had done to Kylie. Or maybe both mixed with his issues with Louis. Either way, everything just came out.

Haven had been through quite a lot without having to try and get her sister and her sister's boyfriend to reconcile. Cameron...why would she care? Louis asked in an almost puzzled manner. I don't mean to be rude. But you dumped her. She probably thinks that you don't care. And if you don't, then why should she? Kylie's been in an accident, lost her child, and been taken away from her sister. The last thing she's gonna want to think about is the guy that caused it, indirectly or otherwise. Louis did have some idea of how women worked and if he'd been in Kylie's situation, he'd have wanted to erase Cameron from his mind as soon as humanly possible. Right now, the memories of Cameron were just too much for the woman. How could Cameron expect her to want to talk about or to him, at least for the moment. It's not that I thought she was literally doping herself...But there was a whole conversation we had that she didn't even remember...And I was angry, then I found those pills and it just freaked me out....I know it was harsh...but Haven's not innocent either. Some of the stuff she said to me....Well let's just say, we were both hurt. It was not good excuse, but it was the only one he had. And really, Louis didn't think she had literally been doping herself. It as more just a turn of phrase. It was obvious that the pills were prescription. She didn't have to tell me....I could see it in her eyes, written all over her face.....She never had to tell me when she was having a hard time. It's always been something I could see or sense....I know I left her in a really bad spot. And I have apologized and tried to make up for it, until I'm blue in the face...I know I don't deserve her back...But she deserves a better life. Haven deserves to be able to sleep through the night without being haunted by her past. And even if she were to take me back....it would take time for her to get back to normal. But she would. And like I said...I'm the only one that can get her there Cameron. Louis had to fight back a snide remark, like "Well if things are going so good between you....maybe you oughta start dating her", but he decided against it. Louis knew it wouldn't help his case any. All I've done the last few times I saw her, was trying to be her friend...like you told me...She's the one that started the fight. Louis felt he needed to clarify that. But yeah...I know I hurt her, more then Clark ever could. Because the people you really love, are the only ones who can hurt you, really. But I am going to fix it and for good. That's a promise. Louis pledged. [/ul]

[atrb=border, 0, true][atrb=style, width: 420px; background-color: #A9B1B9; border: 10px #1B2836 solid]it‘s amazing, you save me | tag: louis | outfit | Notes: bahahaha I love playing Cameron out mad!
Cameron knew Kylie had no reason to care about what he had to say. Just she was always a big supporter of the fighting for what you want. It may have been just a little too late but at least Cameron was trying. ”I know, I know. Just she told me she was a believer and all for fighting for what you wanted. I figured she would see I was doing that and know is itll cared.” Louis was lucky because he would never be in a situation like this. Yes, Kylie hated the musician’s guts but Kylie could be won over. Parents? Not so much. Especially after what he had said to them. The look on her mother’s face was one for the books. He had never seen someone turn so many shades of red. And her father looked ready to deck Cameron. But then the older man would risk assault charges and Cameron could technically have them both banned from hospital grounds. That wouldn’t have boded well for them where they had flown in for the sake of Kylie.
”Actually, makes sense they’re screening my calls. I called her mother a cold-hearted bitch. Which, she is one.” He didn’t mention how the words the older woman had said weren’t directed just at him. Cameron was going off on Louis enough and he didn’t want to add to things even more. then again, both men were dishing it out to one another pretty harshly. Cameron nodded. ”Yeah, I gave her too high of a dosage. Sometimes that can happen. That was more my fault then anything.”
since Cameron had dishes plenty out to Louis, he just took it right back. He wanted Louis to see the error of his ways. Just like Cameron was facing the error of his ways. He let Haven yell at him if she saw fit. He let Brooklyn yell at him as well. The brunette was especially pissed because apparently she was engaged to Tristan and couldn’t even tell her best friend. Yeah, he deserved that rage too. He let out an exasperated sigh as he shook his head. ”I’m pretty sure she’s forgiven you. She’s dragged the crap out you’ve given her and littered it all over the house. Plus she showed me that dog tag thing you made her. She wont take it off. I have to yell at her when she uses the power tools to remove it.” ‘That and she paid off your ridiculously high bail,’ ran through his mind but weren’t uttered. Haven would literally kill Cameron if he mentioned that. He had only found out recently himself during one of their talks. When she showed Cmaeron the papers he nearly choked on his drink. Apparently extra had to be paid to keep his and Clark’s names out of the local papers. Most places in Maine published when someone was arrested for misdemeanors unless someone found a way to take care of it. Haven had.
”It’s not that I doubt you but Haven is pretty much my family. I really don’t have many people up here in Maine I am close with.” Family really meant something to Cameron, especially from coming form such a broken background. He withdrew his wallet and paid off his tab. His hands grabbed a napkin and he asked for a pen to scrawl out his number. ”Just text ahead of time. That day I start my three day stretch. I usually stay at the hospital so you won’t even see me. Unless Haven calls and tells me you fucked up again.” Cameron’s tone dripped in his silent warning. He already had one Stowe sister pissed at him. Having another would probably send him to his grave.
