personality : Evangelina can be a very sweet girl and is rather nice most of the time. But she's had a hard life and she can sometimes come across as cold, numb, or hard hearted. Her independence is both a strength and a weakness. It's helped her get through hard times in her life, but it's also been a detriment, causing her not to take help from people when she needed it most. She's a tough cookie, strong willed. The type that says she doesn't need anything from anyone. She can stand on her own two feet and makes that clear to everyone, especially men. Despite her limited experience, Evie doesn't have a very high opinion of men, because the experiences she has had with them have been anything but good.
Evie is bold and head strong and isn't afraid to put people in their place when she thinks they need it. She's not necessarily afraid to be wrong, but she doesn't like to admit when she's wrong either. Who does?
Overall, she's a nice person and most people wouldn't have any problems with her.

history : [/b] Evangelina Leigh Morris was born on December 24, 1990 in Miami beach Florida. Her given name was Mary-Louise Fraiser. Her parents were only a few months married when her mother Silvia gave birth. Their relationship wasn't weak, but it wasn't strong either and when Evie, or rather Mary-Louise at the time, was 2 years old they divorced. Her father John continued to have relationship with her in her formative years. Mary-Louise was always trying to plot to get her parents back together. But her mother, whom she lived with, was completely close minded to the idea.
Things weren't easy for Mary-Louise, being shipped back and forth between her father, who had moved to San Diego, and her mother, who was still living in Miami Beach. Her summers were often spent with her father while her mother got her for Christmas and Thanksgiving, every other year. On her birthday, she was often able to get her parents to spend the day all three of them together and they always put forth the effort not to fight and make sure it was an enjoyable time for her.
When Mary was 13 her mother became engaged to Franklin Kline, a wealthy Dentist whom she'd been dating for the past 3 years. Truth be told, he and Mary had never quite gotten along. Mostly because Mary wanted her parents to get back together. And she liked his son, Franklin Kline Jr even less. He was rude, a pig when it came to women and never stopped picking on Mary. But it seemed her mother and soon-to-be Stepfather didn't seem to notice. Even when she'd tell them, they said she was being to sensitive.
Mary was making arrangements with her father, to go and live with her father in San Diego, when just a few months before her mother's wedding, he was killed in a car accident. Mary was completely heartbroken. She and her father were extremely close and losing him was of course, one of the hardest things that had, or ever would happen to her. Mary felt like she was alone now. Her mother wasn't sticking up for her against her soon-to-be stepbrother and her stepfather did nothing but dote on his son and pretty much ignore Mary.
After the wedding, Franklin Sr. became abusive towards Mary. If she did something he didn't like, made too much noise, put something away wrong, he'd flip out on her and would often hit her. He was also verbally abusive. No matter how much Mary pleaded with her mother, she continued to ignore the goings on and tell Mary she was taking it all too seriously. But that wasn't the worst of it.
When she was 16 years old, her mom and stepdad went on a weekend getaway. She was left home alone with her stepbrother, who was supposed to be going out with some friends. But it was all canceled mysteriously at the last minute. The reason why, later became clear. Just after Mary had gone to bed that night, Franklin came into her room and held a knife to her neck and threatened to slit her throat if she didn't have sex with him. She struggled against him at first, causing the knife to cut her fair skin. But he was too strong and overpowered her. Mary had no idea what to do. She wanted to tell her mom and stepdad that Franklin has raped her, but she knew they'd never believe her. So she packed her bags and ran away.
Mary, not wanting to be found, got a different hair cut and started going by Evangelina Leigh Morris, a name that she would later have her own legally changed to. She took what savings she had out of her bank account. It was more then one would have though, but only because she'd recieved an inheritance from her father. The ret of his life insurance policy was being held in trust for her until she was 18. With the money, she bought a plane ticket and flew to San Diego. She got herself set up in a cheap apartment in a suburb. She was only there a month and a half before she discovered she was pregnant. Abortion was not an option in her mind, and she couldn't afford it anyways, but she couldn't raise the child either. After the bay was born, and Evie still not set up with a job good enough to support her child, she took the baby girl, whom she'd named Lucy to a local adoption aganecy. They got her in contact with a couple looking to adopt a baby girl, but they would only take her on the condition that it was a closed adoption. Meaning Evie couldn't contact her or have any part in her life. The desperate teen agreed to the terms, knowing at the time she would regeret it. But she was caught between a ock and a hard place.
Evie needed to get out of San Diego and literally closed her eyes and put her finger on a US map. It landed on Hope Harbor, Maine. Packing up again and getting another plane ticket, she moved to Hope Harbor. She got herself set up in a cheap apartment and got a job waitressing at a local restaurant. She eventually got her GED and at 18 started working at the local Bridal Salon. She now works as a Bridal Consultant there.
She still misses her daughter, who is now 3 years old. On occassion she recieves a packate of pictures from her daughter's mother, full of pictures, but never with a return address or point of contact. Evie wishes she could see her daughter, if only once a year and even if Lucy was never told who Evie was.
