[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=style,width: 350px; padding: 10px; background-image: url(http://i48.tinypic.com/4v3fjd.png);] I would lie & say that you're not on my mind... Haven shrugged as she ran a hand along louis’ shoulder. ”She’s trying to stay strong but I don’t think she’s doing that well. She never even got to tell cameron about the baby and she’s confused as to why he broke up with her. Our conversations aren’t long, though, as she’s still on brain rest as they call it. Maybe ten minutes every two or three days.” haven missed her sister fiercely. If she could talk for a longer period of time it might be a bit easier on her. Her parents had pretty much decided that kylie was to go back to Chicago once stable enough and who was haven to argue? She had no standing with the people. She was just kylie’s biological sister. She was their daughter. ”at least I convinced cameron to try to do something to win her back.”
Things were bound to be awkward to begin with while they readjust back to life with one another. Even if it wasn’t a lot, they had both changed these last few years. Haven, well, for the worse but even that she was in denial about. Not that she had become some sort of bitch but her anxiety got out of control. Even therapy hadn’t helped. Maybe with louis being back things would be set right because she was finally having the life she always imagined. Sure some things would need to be taken slow but she was sure they’d get through it. And it was going to be a little awkward having cameron live here but the guy needed to live someplace other then alone. That’s why she gave him the other bedroom to use.
The two had a lot of ground to catch up on in all aspects of their relationship. Even after completion, Haven still felt a small spark of desire very, very deep down. The act of joining together wasn’t all they were about but he had stroked a fire in her long forgotten and it was spreading. Not just sexual but emotionally, mentally. She had let so much of herself slip away, especially while with clark, and now she was finally coming back out. Not that that man was on her mind. No, he was completely vacant from it, especially as she nestled against louis. She allowed her heavy lids to sink down. As usual when she slept she felt the edges of her nightmare starting but the pressure of loving arms around her drew her out. It wouldn’t always be this way, though. Right now was just because she was blissfully happy and deliciously exhausted. This was her first bought of deep sleep she had enjoyed without medications in who knows how long.
When haven first heard her name being uttered, she nestled her head against the solid form. A soft groan left her lips as she heard it again and her head was move upwards. She returned the gentle kiss as she climbed her way out of the fogs of sleep. She smiled widely, glad to be waking up with louis. Part of her thought maybe it had been a very cruel trick of her mind. It wouldn’t have been the first time she imagined their reunion. Hungry? She focused a moment and sure enough, her stomach felt pretty empty. She simply nodded her head as she rolled on her back in order to stretch her body. They had literally wasted away the entire day in bed. The thought caused haven to chuckle.
”mmm a shower sounds good. But first I’m going to send a text to cameron to make sure he’s ok. And leann to make sure my store didn’t burn down.” she turned her head to nip at his shoulder playfully before they both exited the bed. While she heard the shower running, she went for her phone and put it back together. She caught sight of the food louis had made, a little disappointed she hadn’t gotten to try it. With the phone booted up, sure enough she had some texts from leann. They weren’t emergent, just wondering if she was coming in and then who the man was that answered. Haven let her know she was fine and would be back to work either tomorrow or the day after. She didn’t want ot make promises. Then she sent a text basically telling cameron he was a dead man and asking him if he had gotten any work in the barn done. She didn’t bother to wait for a reply as the shower was waiting and she desperately wanted one.
Haven watched louis for a moment before she opened the shower door and joined him. Her shower was very large. Four or five people could comfortable stand in here without touching one another. With the door shut she stood in front of him and wrapped her arms around his middle, allowing the water to fall over the both of them. ”so where did you want to go for dinner? you were a distraction from my breakfast so I haven’t eaten all day.” she laughed as she tilted her head back, allowing the hot water to soak her hair and run over her figure.

Poor thing Louis said softly. I just cant imagine what she must be going through..relate, but not imagine. He couldn't believe that her parents had made her go back to Chicago with them. It sounded like they had taken advantage of her not having the strength to fight them. Do her parents even care about what Kylie wants, what makes her happy? He asked out loud, but not really expecting Haven to have the answer. If we ever have a daughter and she falls in love with a man, that maybe isn't everything I wanted for her, but he's still a good man, then remind me, that all that matters is her happiness...as long as he's a good man. Too many times parents took away their child's chance of happiness, perhaps the only chance they'd ever had. Well I hope it works out for them....She really loves, or at least loved him and it's obvious he's head over heels for her.
Louis watched her lovingly as she moved in the bed, stretching as she struggled to wake up. Oh, who care's about them! Louis groaned in a teasing manner. He reached for her as she nipped him and hopped out of the bed. Louis laughed happily. It wasn't very often that he really genuinely laughed and it was usually only with Haven. Louis rolled out of the bed and went to get in the shower. He started running the hot water, looking around the shower as he did so. It as huge. Definitely room for at least 2 people. Louis smiled as her and she got into the shower. Her arms wrapped around his middle and he let his own arms rest on her shoulders as he faced her.
Louis eyed her as the water wet her body. He ran his fingers through her hair gently, careful not to snag or pull. Oh, I dunno...Some place intimate and romantic. He said, cocking his head slightly. There's a nice little place in Portland, I know the owner. He can get us a table...and we could go over and see my parents after if you like. I know they'd love to see you....And then I can pick up some of my clothes and stuff. Of course, these were just suggestions. If Haven, didn't want to, then they would come up with something else to do.
Grabbing the shampoo, Louis put a generous amount on his hand, and rubbed it on the other, then began to shampoo Haven's hair for her, like he'd used to do. Louis gently massaged her scalp, the soap suddsing up, he was careful not to get it in her eyes. When he'd finished with her head, he turned her around, so he could get her long locks that hung at the back. When he'd finished shampooing her, he grabbed a washcloth and put it over her eyes, to keep the shampoo from getting in them, as he leaned her head back to rinse the soap out. Then he conditioned in the same manner and again rinsed it out. Louis always loved to take care of her, to do little things the average boyfriend didn't.

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=style,width: 350px; padding: 10px; background-image: url(http://i48.tinypic.com/4v3fjd.png);] I would lie & say that you're not on my mind... ”She was really excited about the baby so she’s really crushed right now.” Haven couldn’t imagine losing a child like that. Just the thought crushed her. When kylie told her about the baby, haven herself was excited for a niece or nephew and yeah, she felt crushed, but nothing like kylie. With a sigh, haven shrugged her shoulders. ”I think they believe her having a steady career is what matters to make her happy. From what I can gather after talking to herm other, they were pretty upset she put her career on hold to find me. Cameron was just a serendipitous encounter. So when I said kylie could live here, they thought kylie would give up her career. I was just so happy to have kylie in my life, I was scared to tell her about my conversation with them. I didn’t want a fight.” haven didn’t want to lose her sister so she did whatever she could to prevent that.
Haven laughed as she nodded at louis’ statement. ”oh I can think of a few ways to convince you of that. Like reminding you about us.” she moved to kiss his lips tenderly before she reached up to play with his hair. ”yeah I hope so too. I think she still loves him which is a plus…” haven just wished they figured things out sooner then her and louis did. She wouldn’t wish the heartache of being separated from the one you’re meant to be with for four years. even a year was pure torture.
Haven rolled her eyes at louis. ”really? I don’t need my employees thinking some psycho has taken me hostage. And I need to tell cameron I know where the nail gun is to get back at him for hiding this from me.” not that she didn’t appreciate cameron helping louis just...she was alittle miffed she talked to louis about her. Again. And he couldn’t claim that he had no clue who louis was this time because he did. Still, she tried to keep a level head as she sent him a text. She didn’t want to fight when there was an extremely appealing man in her shower right now.
haven ran her thumbs up and down the small area they rested as she kept her hands in place. ”mmm sounds nice.” she did perk up some more at the mention of going to see his parents. Haven could finally talk to them without feeling awkward. ”did your parents know you were coming here today or did you keep them in the dark as well?” haven licked her lips as she chuckled. Her eyes swept over his naked form. ”I mean we can pick up some clothes if we have to but I rather like you walking around the house like this.” as louis’ hands reached up to wash her hair, haven’s eyes drifted shut. She just let her body turn to putty in his capable hands. Louis had always been one to do sweet, intimate things such as this. Or rubbing her back without even her asking, sometimes not even saying anything before he started it. He was always doing things without expecting anything in return though she did her best to do things in return for him. When he turned her around, one hand held onto the shower wall as she tilted her head back. Another rush of emotions overwhelmed her thinking about all the years that now laid before them where they could take care of one another. And someday take care of their children.
When he finished she turned and pressed gentle kisses on his shoulder, neck, cheek and finally met his lips. The kiss was tender before she pulled away as reached for her bar of soap and washcloth. She pressed her forehead to his while she lathered up the cloth. Her hands trailed it down over his chest and arms. With their bodies so close, the suds went over her own figure. Haven leaned her head forward to rest on his shoulder while she moved the washcloth along his back. She moved the lower half of her body away to run her hand along him. As the water rinsed them off, she swallowed a lump, her mouth dry with desire. ”maybe we should start to get ready.” she enjoy nothing more then drawing this shower out but they had a long drive ahead of them.
As they dried themselves off, haven watched louis with a look of pure joy on her face. She just couldn’t wipe it away if she tried which was something new for her. Haven moved to pull him into another kiss before she went to ready herself for the night. She blow dried her hair and applied some make-up as well as the necessary things like shaving and brushing her teeth. Satisfied with everything she had done in there, she stepped into the bedroom, the floral scent rushing over her once again.
Haven threw on some panties before she went into her closet and grabbed a pair of black skinny jeans. They were a perfect match for the purple corset top she decided to wear for tonight. After she was zipped in and had adjusted herself, she reached for her pumps which matched her top. With a glance at the clock, she quickly grabbed a cuff bracelet, two stacking bands she put on her right ring finger and some stud earrings before she slipped the necklace louis had given her so many years prior back on. Seeing as louis was already downstairs and her purse and jacket were there, she grabbed her cellphone before she headed down the stairs.
As she slipped on her leather jacket, she caught sight of louis giving her an intense stare. She looked from side to side before she laugh. ”what? Did I take too long and you don’t want to go now?” she chuckled nervously as she flipped her hair out from under her collar as she tossed her phone into her purse after making sure it was on silent. Haven was only bringing it in case of some freak emergency. It was on silent as she wanted nothing to interrupt their evening together.

Post by LOUIS ARDEN FITCH on Mar 15, 2013 14:34:01 GMT -5
Louis kissed the top of her head as she talked about Kylie and how she was afraid of getting in a fight with her. I'm sorry this happened babe. Obviously it wasn't Louis' fault, but he still felt sorry. Sorry that Haven and for Kylie of course. And for that matter, Cameron too. It would be tough to have your girlfriends parents not approve of you. Louis felt bad that Haven didn't even have parents to support her any of this, but he was glad they hadn't been there to get in the way of their relationship, because no doubt they would have. When people had sons, they let him handle his own affairs. When they had daughters, they became the most defensive people on earth.
Louis smiled and laughed a little. That would do it. He stole a kiss from her lips and rubbed his nose against her own, as he gave her a gentle loving squeeze. Loving him is definitely a plus....As long as there's love there is hope. He said that because of them. Haven had still loved him, as much as he she'd tried to hide it at times, and that gave him hope and hope had lead him to wear they were right now.
I supposed you have a point there. He sighed, pretending to be terribly exasperated at the fact she had to text them, but really he didn't mind all that much. Louis just wanted to have her all to himself, with no interruptions from cell phones and the like.
Louis figured she'd like the idea of going to see his parents. They loved Haven and looked at her as a daughter, or at least they had when she and Louis were together. And Haven had loved them too, being the only parental figures she'd had in her life. Louis knew when he left, Haven had lost more then him, she'd lost the relationship she had with his parents too, but only because things were awkward for them all. Now things could be patched up with them too, and they could resume their happy, semi-normal life. Louis smiled, shaking his head. No...I didn't tell them anything. He told her softly. I wanted to surprise them...And boy will they be surprised, when we show up on their doorstep together. Louis couldn't wait to see the looks on their faces. They would be so happy and excited and welcome Haven back with open arms. Especially since not a single bit of this had really been her fault.
I know...you don't want to cover up this fine specimen....But I might cold after a little while. Louis kissed her deeply, before he began to shampoo her hair for her. The way she relax, the sweet smile on her face, and the way her eyes closed peacefully, made him happy. Knowing that he was here to make Haven feel safe and happy once again, filled him with joy. Louis was back to where he belonged and it was heavenly. Louis placed his hands on either side of Haven's head as, as she pressed her forehead against his, and began to wash their bodies. Words weren't needed as they started into each others eyes, all the love in the world reflecting between them. Louis stole one more long kiss from her before he consented to getting ready. Louis dressed an fixed his hair, then went downstairs to make their reservations. When that was done, he got himself a drink and watch tv for a couple minutes, (something he almost NEVER did), while he waited for her.
When Louis heard her coming down the stairs, he shut off the tv and rinsed his glass before putting in the dishwasher. He went out in the hallway and stopped dead in his tracks when he saw her. Louis had never seen her look more stunning. Her clothes accentuated her already overwhelming beauty and for a few moments, Louis felt didn't breath. It wasn't until he felt like he was going to pass out that he remembered to breathe again. Hearing Haven's words, Louis shook his head a little, snapping himself out of it. No...no...you're....perfect. He told her. It was the only word he could think of that came close to describing what she was right now, but it still wasn't right. You look absolutely perfect. Louis moved towards her and kissed her deeply. When the broke, he smiled, laughing softly. Now I don't want to go out. But they would, because they'd already spent all day in bed and no matter how long they had been separated, it wouldn't do to spend all night there was well, without at least stepping out to do something.
Louis opened the door for her and they walked out to the car. He opened and closed the car door for her and got in the other side. He turned on some soft jazz, and they talked about anything and everything on the ride to Portland. Arriving at the restaurant, Louis took her in and they were escorted to the table he had reserved. It was in a nice quiet corner, with low light and a romantic atmosphere.

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=style,width: 350px; padding: 10px; background-image: url(http://i48.tinypic.com/4v3fjd.png);] I would lie & say that you're not on my mind... Haven’s eyes went downcast for a moment. ”Well, once she’s better at least her and I can talk more so I can figure out how she’s doing.’ as selfish as it sounded, she had hoped kylie’s parents would be accepting of her. haven wanted to be able to invite kylie’s family here to visit but if they were going to act like this then why bother? they would probably never change their minds. haven vowed to never do that with her children. She laughed as she played with his hair. ”maybe we need to get that put on a plaque and hang it in the kitchen or something?”
Haven got choked up just thinking about going to see his parents. sure she had spoken to them a handful of times since the break-up but nothing major. she wasn’t more excited about having them back in her life then she was about having louis just when you grew up like she did, anyone who you cared about you held close. really close. sometimes that was dangerous, especially for haven, and it was proven so with the break-up. ”I don’t think surprised even fully covers it. I think they might have a heart attack from the shock.” now things were patched up so maybe everything could finally be different. not even with just louis and his parents but in general. obviously cameron was living in her house and was becoming like family and then she had kylie. haven’s whole life was literally different.
haven flirtatiously quirked a brow up and down. ”you won’t stay cold for very long.” she chuckled into the beginning of their kiss before they separated. despite being naked and in the shower together. they were still able to be intimae without having sex. the two took care of one another as they explored one another’s bodies again. as her hands moved over his muscles, her hands shook just slightly. not from nerves but from just the intensity of the emotions felt as she looked in louis’ eyes. if they had time she probably would have just kept this up. then again, they has the whole night once home. cameron had his three day stretch which meant he wouldn’t be home. they could spend all the time together they wanted and wherever they wanted. perhaps haven would even take another day off.
haven snapped her purse closed before she put it on the small bench in the hall. while she wasn’t high maintenance, she always loved to look her best for louis. she always took a little extra time and care to get her make-up just right and made sure her soft curls were tamed. and she knew she did well today in seeing that look in his eyes. not that he never gave her that look any other time but she say just under the surface what he was thinking and feeling. the charge was undeniable. her hand pressed against his cheek as she returned her keys, parting her lips slightly to allow some more heat to it. she licked at her lips once they were apart and shook her head. ”if I had the energy to just stay here and make love to you again, I would. but I need food. then you have me to yourself all night.” she leaned to press a kiss just behind his ear and grinned mischievously before she grabbed her purse and his hand.
despite being starving, she was able to ignore that to talk to louis in the car ride. the two caught up on pretty much everything the last few years. now she was starting to get excited about going on tour with him. there was just a lot to work out at the shop first but she had a couple months to do so. she held his hand when he didn’t drive with both and occasionally ran her fingers up along his arm. there were moment she didn’t think this was real and just wanted to reassure herself it was.
as they settled into their seats, haven looked over at louis and reached for his hand. she pressed a kiss to his knuckles before she ran her thumb along where her lips had been previously. ”today has been amazing.” she paused as she pressed another kiss to his digits. ”I’m so happy you fought, even when I gave you no reason to.”

Maybe you should go to Chicago for a weekend or something...I'm sure she'd like to see you. Probably misses you. And since her parents made her go back to Chicago, she'd probably enjoy having someone around that she feels is more on her side. Louis knew if he was in Kylie's situation, he'd want his sister there to support him. Of course it was just a suggestion. If Haven didn't want to go, he wasn't going to push it or bring it up again or anything. Louis nodded and kissed her neck. That sounds like a good idea to me babe. He liked plaques that had true sayings. He didn't care for the ones that had corny ones.
Louis laughed. Mom will probably turn on the water works. He really did love his parents, probably more than he let on. Louis enjoyed their company, liked to do special things for them, appreciated the things they had taught them, and most of all, was so grateful for them. If Haven had taught him anything, it was to appreciate family, because there were people out there, much like her and even Kylie, that didn't have blood parents.
Hmmm...rarrrrr He growled before submitting to her kiss, his arms around her. As Haven's hands explored his muscles, Louis ran his hands up her back and neck until he got to her head. He laced his fingers through her hair, scrunching it as he kissed her deeply. He could feel her hands quaking gently. Louis had always enjoyed when the shear height of their intimacy made her nerves boil over. Haven was the most amazing woman had ever known in all his life. Louis got close to her ear, nibbled at her lobe and asked Do you know how precious you are to me?
We'll just don't eat too big of a dinner...it'll make you too tired. He teased her. Louis never pushed Haven to make love when she wasn't in the mood too, even if he was. Of course a man was always ready. But the point was that if Haven didn't feel up for it later tonight, he'd say nothing about it. He'd always been considerate that way. Making love was only truly satisfying if both subject's hearts were in it. Otherwise it was one sided, and felt exactly so.
Louis smiled as she said the day had been amazing. He was glad that she felt so. It had certainly been a very special day for him. I'm sorry I ever put you in a position to have to be fought for. He squeezed her hand gently. After a moment, he began to laugh softly. At Haven's quizzical look he sighed. I just remembered I have literally 1,000 dark purple flowers to clean up back at your place....But, it was totally worth it.
When the waiter came, they placed their drink and appetizer orders. Louis had a glass of Sherry for his drink and fried Ravioli for his appetizer.

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=style,width: 350px; padding: 10px; background-image: url(http://i48.tinypic.com/4v3fjd.png);] I would lie & say that you're not on my mind... ”I plan on it once she’s feeling better. Right now she’s still healing so I don’t want to overwhelm her.” Haven had no experience with family dynamics so this was all weird for her. Sure, she had had foster parents who actually cared and louis parents always treated her well but it was different with actual family. Haven didn’t want kylie to feel like her odler sister was smothering her. She had a feeling her parents were being overprotective enough as is. It was probably nice to have some space every once in awhile. Haven knew when she really got into a bad mood that is all she wanted. In the past louis sometimes pushed his way in but mostly he knew when to stay back. Haven had never experienced this side of kylie before so she was still trying to gain her footing with it.
Haven groaned lightly. ”oh you know if she starts to tear up I can’t help it! You and your father better salvage it quickly before it turns into a big, sappy mess.” she wondered how they’d react to the same day that haven and louis were getting back together he was moving in. that was bound to be a bit surprising. But haven didn’t want to be apart any longer. He couldn’t keep driving to and from here and she could only take maybe one full day off a week to go see him. That was no way to rekindle their relationship. Sure, making love and kiss like they were now was a great start but they had to relearn everything about one another. The only way to do that is if he was here. Her eyes lazily closed as his teeth met her ear. ”mmm I’m guessing pretty precious if you were willing to give up your career.” haven wouldn’t let that happen, though. Now she was prepared for that part of his life. Before it was just too much to take in at once.
”Ok with how much energy I’ve already burned through and how much more I’m sure you’re going to worm out of me later, I think I’ll need to scarf down a whole buffet.” she didn’t expect that to be the only thing they did. The two also had a lot to talk about. Like figuring everything out once he signed his new record contract. Haven would have to start setting things in motion for her business. And talk about what was left to do around the house though she hoped they didn’t have to get into everything tonight. Perhaps while she was at work one day him and cameron would talk about what the doctor was doing for kylie. ”hey, cameron texted me about the bar while I was getting ready. Are you two on good terms because I really don’t want to come home to find holes in the walls of my house and sledgehammers in your heads.” she was actually really pissed at cameron right now because while she got ready they texted back and forth and he admitted one, to drinking which she was pissed about and two, to maybe telling louis some things he shouldn’t have and fighting. What he had said she didn’t know but that was something she’d deal with soon. Probably tomorrow on her way back from the shop. She didn’t plan to spend all day at her shop but haven did need to check in.
At this point, she no longer really cared what had happened. Sure if she thought about it, it might hurt a bit but she had him back in her life now. The fact they had found their way back to one another is all that really mattered. She laughed as a look of disbelief came across her face. ”seriously? I noticed there was a crap ton but a thousand? I really don’t think I have enough vases for them all.” haven would probably hang some up to dry and put it on a mirror or something though. Not having any real family until recently she liked to keep little bits of happy memories. Today was a happy memory and she wanted to save a piece of it.
Haven glanced over the menu with a blank look. her relationship with food was a love-hate one. No, she didn’t have an eating disorder but when younger she often didn’t get enough to eat. And then in college that continued as she mainly lived off pasta the first year until she got a better job. And when stressed, she had a tendency to get sick. She never ate enough during her meals despite her eating until full. When her and louis had been together last he used to subtly get her to eat a bit more. It had helped haven put some weight on but usually she felt ready to explode right after. It didn’t mean she didn’t try to eat more just it was hard at times. For her meal she ordered the shrimp scampi and then just a garden vegetable soup for her appetizer. Because of her medications she really couldn’t drink heavily so opted for a glass of the house wine and that was it.
”So does your band, or better yet manager, know I’ll be tagging along on these tours?”

Well, better pack plenty of tissues. Louis teased, though it was probably true. Sometimes Haven and Kaya could be tear machines. Louis and his dad sometimes didn't know what to do when Kaya would start crying. Sometimes they hadn't even caused it. They'd ask her what was wrong and she'd say I dunno...I just needed to cry" and go sobbing to the bedroom. Louis may have understood Haven well, but she was the only woman he had accomplished that with. The rest of the women out there were a complete and total mystery to him. That guess would be correct. He nodded, smiling at her and kissed the top of her perfect little nose. There was something about that little nose of hers that drove him crazy. He found it attractive and adorable.
Louis chuckled at her comment about eating a whole buffet. You couldn't, even if you wanted to, you've always eaten like a bird! He hugged her, making a little growling noise. She was just...such a wonderful woman, and he loved her so much, it made him giddy. Mmmmm! I love you Louis kissed the top of her head and the went out to the car.
He sighed about Cameron. I dunno. He said honestly. We got into another spat at the bar...not really an argument...Heated discussion maybe? Louis shrugged his shoulders. I guess we're ok, but he just thinks he has to keep telling me how much I messed up with you...Everyone likes to tell me. And I get it, I did and I deserve all the comments in the world. But it wasn't like, I wasn't trying to fix it or anything. Louis bit his lip and shook his head. Anyways...I'm sure we'll be ok. He's just under a lot of stress and rightfully so. Yeah, Louis wasn't sure where he and Cameron stood exactly. But he really had no outstanding problems with the guy. Especially since, if everything went well, they would probably be related one day in the not too distant future.
Louis laughed at her look and nodded. Yeah....you know me. When I do things, I do them in a big way...At least for you. It was true. Once he'd gotten a whole restaurant of people to sing happy birthday to her. On their first anniversary, he'd taken her on a trip to New York City, and they danced at the top of the Empire State Building. Things like that. He maybe have been simple in his style of life and like and dislikes. But simple just didn't do when it came to Haven.
The waiter brought their food and they both began to partake. Like Haven, Louis ordered the Shrimp Scampi, one of his favorites. He watched Haven inconspicuously for a few moments, wondering if she still ate as lightly as she had years ago. Sometimes he'd had to coax her into eating more. He often wondered how in the world she survived on so little food.
Louis shook his head in the negative. No...I haven't really talked to them about it yet. But it won't be a problem. Our bass player, James, he's brought his girl along before. He assured her. Louis knew the guys were going to love having Haven around. They were all open hearted and of course they knew about her and Louis' plan to win her back. They thought he was a fool for leaving her in the first place, and didn't mind saying so, just like everyone else. You'll like the guys...they're a great, fun, bunch.....Way to attached to their electronics though...like the rest of the world. Between the cable, the smart phones, and the xbox on the bus, it was sometimes hard to get some peace and quiet. But Louis put up with it pretty well for the most part.

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=style,width: 350px; padding: 10px; background-image: url(http://i48.tinypic.com/4v3fjd.png);] I would lie & say that you're not on my mind... Haven was glad that her and Louis knew each other so well. She was easily falling back into a comfortable place with him after only hours. It would be nice to have him around each day. Even if they had each changed some, they were still Haven and Louis. The two had always been meant for one another. They had lost their way for a little while, going different paths, but now they were back to one another. Teasing one another and holding the other as if neither wanted to let go. And part of them probably didn’t. They had spent over four years apart. That was too long for two souls who were bound to one another in such a way. Nothing could drive them apart now. Haven wasn’t clinging to him just because of her ”issues” as some people referred to it. No, she did so because it just felt right to do so.
Haven got a slightly grumpy look on her face. ”Hey, I do just fine. I’m never hungry.” As Louis’ arms wrapped around her form and he made his little growl noise, Haven rocked them from one side to the other and laughed as her arms hooked around his neck. It was nice being able to play without worries again. A relationship without playfulness wasn’t a good one at all. ”I love you too, crazy man. Now are we going to go eat real food or are you going to keep rying to nom on me?”
Haven sighed as she pressed a couple of her fingertips to her lips and shook her head. She’d have to talk to Cameron. She knew the man was in a dark place but he couldn’t be lashing out at people. And the conversations she had with him were meant to be private. The two had needed one another to lean one. Haven used her experiences with Louis leaving to point out Cameron’s mistakes and how Kylie was probably feeling about things. ”Yes, he likes to get into heated discussions often.” Haven paused before she reached for his hand. ”I’ll talk to him and make sure he stops with the remarks. After all, I do know how all those power tools work. Some might be fun to play with to get my point across.” Haven would never harm Cameron or anyone but it was fun whenever she pointed out to Cameron she knew how to use things like the table saw.
Louis always looked out for Haven and took care of her. He was the first person to ever really do so. Sure, at the group home she ended up in the last two years they were kind to her and set her up with resources to get over the abuse she had suffered. They also helped her with getting scholarships for college but there wasn’t much else there. Not many connections were forged and Haven just went on her way once accepted to college. Then Louis blew through her life and changed it all. He showed her there were people out there who could love and not expect anything back, though she did love him whole heartedly. He soothed her when she needed it and she encouraged him with his art-all forms of it. Duties in that little apartment were wordlessly alternated between the two of them. He had really changed her for the better. Though she found a new relationship based off not wanting to get hurt, it allowed her to let her sister in when everything told her not to.
Haven finished off her soup and was already beginning to feel full but she knew if she didn’t attempt to eat some of her meal it’d look bad. Louis was not the first person nor the last to notice her odd eating habits but it was hard to explain. Short of trying some homeopathic things she found-ones that sounded dangerous-Haven had been unable to work up as strong of an appetite as some people would’ve liked. Her bits of her pasta may have been small but she chewed it as much as possible so that she could eat a little bit more then normal. She just didn’t want to worry Louis when there was really nothing to worry about.
Going on tour sounded like it would be fun but being on the bus with all the guys? That terrified her. She wasn’t scared of any of them but it was doubtful she’d ever sleep on that bus. She was too afraid if she had a nightmare and anyone heard her. It was still a little over a month before he mentioned just going to New York to do recordings but a tour probably wouldn’t be far behind. A tightness of panic settles over her chest and she sipped at her wine for something to do. ”Well it’ll be nice if his girlfriend comes along while I’m with you buys. Might be a nice change up of company.” She winked playfully at him as she rolled her eyes. ”Ok you do realize I’ll technically have to be “attached” to my phone or laptop at times in order to run the shop while I’m with you?” Most every supplier Haven worked with took their orders online now. Plus she’d be able to pay all the bills from there as well as the bills for the house. She trusted Cameron well enough but this was her home so she wanted to handle the bills herself.
Haven got about a third of the way through her food and couldn’t eat anymore. She set her fork aside as she watched Louis finish his food with her glass in her hands more so she had something to do with them. A fond smile graced her lips as she remembered all the times in the past they had shared meals together, be it in their apartment or in a restaurant. And she thought of how they’d have many more times to do so. ”I was just thinking, maybe your parents can come to our place for Easter dinner. I could cook for everyone so your mom doesn’t have to. Or she could help me, whichever she’d prefer.” A chuckle left her lips. She liked the idea of having large, family meals at her house. It’s why she had originally wanted the home when she lived in Hope Harbor as a child. She imagined having a large family and being able to fill the house with life. Even though it was just her and Louis right now(and, technically, Cameron) they could still bring life to the place.

Louis grinned at her calling him crazy man. He was crazy, crazy for her. Haven was the most wonderful, intoxicating thing. Louis couldn't even put into words the way she made him feel. And the feeling was stronger now than it ever had been before. The old say "Absence makes the heart grow fonder", could have been more true in the case of Haven Stowe and Louis Fitch. Well I think that you probably taste better....But if you're going to insist, I guess I'll have to take you to dinner. Louis stole one more long, deep, kiss before they headed out the door.
Louis watched as Haven's hand was placed over his and she gave him a loving squeeze. He flipped his own hand over so he could hold hers in his palm. Louis couldn't help but laugh at Haven's remark about power tools. You'll have him running scared. Louis knew he'd be running if he was on the receiving end of that. Haven was a fiery soul with a temper to match. Getting on her bad side was never fun and Louis knew it better than most. Lifting Haven's hand, Louis pressed it to his lips, staring straight at her with those icy, intense eyes as he did so. He never quite realized how intense he could look, probably because he wasn't trying to. It just came out when he felt passionately about something, or in this case, someone.
Louis nodded about James' girlfriend. I'll talk to him about it...I'm sure she'd love to come along again, especially with another woman aboard. Having Haven on tour with them, was just going to be awesome. All the guys would just love her and she'd love them. And they could all be jealous that she wasn't theres. They did already know of Haven and Louis' quest to win her back, but that was pretty much the extent of it. Louis wasn't the type of guy to share all the details about her and them with everyone. Their relationship was personal and private. No one else needed to share in it. I know. He assured her. But it'l be worth it to have you there. Louis' tall frame leaned across the table and kissed her cheek tenderly. He was willing to endure just about anything to have her with him.
Louis smiled at her idea for easter, nodding. They would love that. And you know mom. She'll never stay out of the kitchen. She'll want to help, plus she'll say it'll give you two some 'girl time to catch up'." He knew his mother well. I think that's a wonderful plan Haven. Honestly, Louis could hardly wait for them to all get to spend a holiday together. It was going to be like old times again, only much, much better.
Louis finished his food and they got the check. Getting up first, Louis grabbed Haven's coat and put it on her, pressing a kiss to her cheek as he did so. He couldn't keep his lips, eyes, or hands off her for long. He put his arm around her waist as they left the restaurant and drove the 10 minutes more to his parents house. Louis pulled into the driveway and put the vehicle in park. Alright...you stand behind me and then I'll tell them I have a surprise and you can step out, ok? He laughed lightly. Louis loved to surprise people.
Going up the front steps, Louis unlocked the door and went in Mom, dad, I'm home. He called. We're in the living room hun! Kaya's voice sounded. Louis slipped of his boots and hung his and Haven's coats in the closet. Reaching back, Louis placed his hands on Haven's hips, to make it look like he was holding something behind him, and they walked down the hall to the living room. Standing in the large doorway, Kaya and Louis Sr. sat on the couch, backs to them, watching a program on tv. Hey you too. Close your eyes and stand up and face me...I have a surprise. Oh so mysterious, now are we? his dad asked. Ohhhh Louis, just do as he says. Kaya insisted and the couple closed their eyes and stood up and faced him. Louis stepped aside and said Ok open!
The look on Kaya and Louis' face was simply priceless. Haven! Kaya breathed as her hands went over her mouth and as predicted tears immediately started to stream down the woman's face. Outstretching her arms, she hurried over to Haven and engulfed her in a sweet hug. It's sooo good to see you sweetheart! She said, finally releasing her. Let me look at you! Kaya smiled, shaking her head as she looked Haven over. Isn't she just beautiful Louis? Mr. Fitch approached, grinning from ear to ear and leaned in to give Haven a hug, kissing her on the cheek. Hello darling. He gave her a small pat on the back. Of course she is! Most beautiful girl that ever walked the earth....aside from you. Louis Sr. looked down at his wife and kissed the top of her head, making her blush. Oh hush old man! She gently slapped his arm. Come in you two, sit down. Kaya grabbed the remote and turned off the tv, before resuming her previous seat, and her husband sat beside her. Louis and Haven took the love seat. Louis instinctively put his arm around Haven's shoulders.
Kaya and Louis Sr. looked at each other, smiling at the site, then back at their son and his once girlfriend. So you two are....? Kaya asked slowly, meaning she wanted to know if they were just friends or if they had decided to get back together. Louis looked at Haven, smiling, before he looked back at his parents. we are ack together again....as of this morning... He laughed softly. It was all happening so fast but he didn't care one bit. And...I'm going to be moving in with Haven, right away....We want to get our lives together back on track. And the best way to do that is to live together, like we used to...And Haven's going to go on the next tour with me. Louis explained.
His parents did seem a little surprised at how quickly this was coming back together. But they had been in a long term relationship in the past. So it wasn't like he'd just brought Haven home for the first time today or something. Well...it sounds like you two have everything planned out. Kaya said sweetly. It's just so good to see you two back together! She said, trying to keep back more tears.

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=style,width: 350px; padding: 10px; background-image: url(http://i48.tinypic.com/4v3fjd.png);] I would lie & say that you're not on my mind... In a weird way, Peyton’s life was falling together better then she had originally imagine. After all, she had always wanted the large family and in a sense she was getting it without having to even have any kids yet. Even though she wasn’t living here, Peyton has her sister. Then she had Cameron, Jesse and now Louis again. The with Louis came his parents. Really, it was coming along better then her original dreams. Then again, Peyton didn’t dream very big when it came to a family. Pretty much as long as she had someone in her life she loved then she was content with life. If that person whole heartedly loved her back, and the two had fun together, then it was just the icing on the cake. Louis was that icing on the cake in this case.
Growing up, Peyton made some friends but didn’t keep in contact with many. After essentially losing her “brothers” she was afraid to make that type of connection again. Slowly but surely she was letting friends into her life. Louis band mates and then James’ girlfriend would be another step. A huge one in fact as Louis spent a good chunk of his time with these people. ”Well while you men get into your guy talk, her and I will hole away in a corner and go online shopping. That is until we stop in the next city and get some real shopping done.” Haven winked playfully as a light laugh ran out. The laugh died down as she smooth her hands over her jeans. Whenever Haven was anxious for some reason her hands always went in the back pockets of her jeans or ran along the front of them. ”Well I doubt I’ll be on them often while you guys are awake. I’ll probably get my work done while all of you sleep.” Her shoulders rose and fell gently as she reached for her glass and took a sip. in her mind she was planning to work while they all slept then grab a nap whenever they stopped while the group went off to do their own thing. Four hours here, two hours there and she should get just enough sleep to function throughout the day. She’d rather look like a zombie then have people hear her when she had one of her nightmares.
”Well I’ll just have to get most of the dishes started before she comes so she can relax but I will not turn her away for some girl talk.” Before the break up, Haven had always been able to turn to Kaya for some advice when needed. Not having her own mother, the guidance Kaya used to give her was welcome. Even after the break-up she had pushed Haven to open her shop which Haven only told her about because they had run into one another in the city. At that time Haven was just starting to pull out of her funk if you want to call it that. She had lost a considerable amount of weight and was just coming from a doctor to try to get better. Kaya encouraging Haven to go after her dream was that little ego boost she needed. and as far as she knew, Louis knew nothing about that. Though she could be wrong. She wouldn’t be mad if his parents had told him some things during their time apart. Just as long as they hadn’t told him about her going to their house then everything would be just fine. Well, now it didn’t matter but then it would have.
Haven was glad that little things about Louis hadn’t changed like how he looked out for her or was a gentleman. He helped her with her jacket and even though some people might see him as slightly handsy with how he kissed her after or kept a hand on her body, Haven didn’t. she felt comfortable with him doing it and showed it with how her own hand ran along his shoulder while they walked out. She had never been one for PDA but when with Louis she hadn’t minded before. She’d get back there at some point though it was proving she was getting there quicker then one might have originally thought possible. Just one of the many thinks Louis was able to draw out of Haven.
Haven stuck her tongue out at him as she pretended to be cross about having to hide. ”Fine but you better make it up to me.” Haven carefully took her heels off so they didn’t hear the clicking as Louis took her jacket off. When she first got behind him she bit his neck playfully before she did her best to hide. Not that it mattered since his parents weren’t facing their direction. Haven pressed her face to Louis’ back to stifle laughter when she heard his father crack out about Louis being mysterious. Oh the really were in for a surprise.
Haven stood with her hands clasped behind her back and a giant grin on her face as Kaya and the elder Louis opened their eyes. She couldn’t help but laugh as she nodded her head at their reactions. ”Yeah it’s-oh ok.” Haven wrapped her arms around Kaya as she squeezed the woman tight. She tried to hold back her own tears as she looked to her Louis. ”You were right about her turning on the water works.” When Kaya released her she wiped under her eyes, thankful her own tears hadn’t spilled over. At this point Haven was probably all cried out from Louis showing up this morning. They almost came out again as Louis’ father pulled her into a hug next while she blushed. ”Oh you two exaggerate. It’s just because you’re used to seeing your son’s ugly mug all the time.” She scrunched up her face playfully in Louis direction before she laughed again. To Haven it felt so good to be able to laugh so freely again.
As they sat down, Louis put his arm around her and she leaned into him. Well, if it was obvious what was going on she didn’t know what would be. As Louis explained everything, she rolled her eyes and slapped him gently across the chest. ”Well way to just throw it out there like that. I know you can be a bit blunt but really?” Haven was only teasing as she shook her head and looked back at his parents. ”At least your son came to his senses and quit being stubborn. It was exhausting waiting around.” Haven felt a pinch on her side and she laughed. ”Ok, ok I was stubborn too but that’s all I’ll admit to.”
Like everything else about today with Louis, sitting here with his family right now just felt right. She felt comfortable in this house and knew it’d always be like another home. Haven began to get choked up at all the memories this house held along with others she had shared with Louis. Plus the fact that his parents were so welcoming of her again. All on top of his mother holding back her own tears was just a lot for Haven to take in. today had really been an emotionally exhausting day for her.
Haven looked over Louis’ visage before she turned back to Kaya. ”It’s great to be back together. And to be back here with both of you. I missed you both.” Ok now Haven couldn’t keep them back. A few tears escaped as she chuckled at her silly emotions.

I'm sure you'll empty out my hefty bank account in no time. Louis teased her. But it was true, about his bank account being hefty, considering he spent less then a quarter of what he made each year Louis never really talked about what money he had. It was merely a tool to him. But while he didn't hoard it, he didn't spend much either. And when he did spend money, it had to be something he really, really wanted or needed. Somethings, many things, just never changed with the young American. Babe...you do your work whenever you need to...Don't wear yourself out. If you have to do it when we're all up, it's no big deal. Louis looked at her way, studying her for a few brief moments and the bigger reason Haven wanted to do her work while everyone was asleep dawned on him. Look sweetheart...If it's about the nightmares...don't worry, ok? Louis said sweetly. We hardly ever sleep on the bus...It's usually hotels...and I can make sure our room is anywhere near the rest of the bands, alright? A small mischievous smile grew on his face. Besides...if you're up working...how'm I supposed to make love to you? He asked softly, so that only she could hear his words.
Louis nodded at her saying she would have to start their Easter dinner before his parents got there. I'll help. he assured her. Louis was always handy to have around. He wasn't the type to sit while someone was working. He was always right in there doing his fair share and often times more. Louis was so looking forward to what was in store for all of them.
I always make it up to you. Louis said sweetly, as he hid her behind himself and they went into his parents house. Haven was received exactly has he thought she would be. His parents couldn't have been more delighted to see the woman and to find out that they were back on track with their lives together. Louis was glad to see them and Haven back together again and so very happy about it all. Louis stuck his tongue out at Haven before kissing his cheek. I just don't like to beat around the bush. You know that.
Kaya and Louis Sr. laughed sweetly and smiled at their son and the woman they had hope once more would be their daughter-in-law one day soon. Yes, you were both stubborn... Kaya agreed. But of the two....Louis was more so. She said, to which Louis' shoulders dropped and he cocked his head at her. Oh really, mom seriously?! You didn't see what I had to do to get her back! There are a thousand flowers cluttering the floor of her house and that's the least of it! Louis laughed. Kaya rolled her eyes at him. Well you left her don't forget...so you deserved a hard fight to get her back. Kaya smiled and Louis conceded.
They visited for a few hours before Louis went up to his room to pack up a few things, Haven coming with him. He sat down on the bed. So many memories here. He smiled at her. Good ones, once again. Louis pulled her down onto the bed beside him and kissed her. I love you, you stubborn, crazy, woman.

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=style,width: 350px; padding: 10px; background-image: url(http://i48.tinypic.com/4v3fjd.png);] I would lie & say that you're not on my mind... ”Probably. I do have four years of blowing through your money to make up for, dear.” haven wasn’t like that and neither was louis. Unwise with money that is. Sure, she now had a lot of nice things in her house but she didn’t blow money to just blow it. In fact she donated plenty. To the schools and to programs to help kids in the system. She just wasn’t vocal about it as she didn’t believe her generosity had to be shared with everyone and their mother. Plus, haven hated to be asked why she chose those specific programs. While she was open about the fact she was in foster care it was different with someone you didn’t know.
Haven waved her hand in front of her lightly. ”nah at night it’ll be quieter. I can get more done and then spend whatever time you’re not doing stuff with you. I’m used to little sleep.” haven tried to beam it off with a bright smile. She went back to picking at her food, trying to eat as much as possible when her whole body flinched. She knew louis was trying to ebb her fears but it wasn’t working in this case. Being in a restaurant didn’t help as she didn’t tell many people about this issue of hers. Jesse was the only one she told. Everyone else who knew were ones who had heard her in the middle of the night. ”I just don’t expect to be like I was…before you left by the time your tour starts. You know I don’t like people knowing. I’ve actually only told jesse in these past four years. Everyone else is because they lived with me.” haven hated she had to mention him leaving but it’s not like she was saying it in a particularly angry way, just stating a fact. That was merely it.
Haven gently swatted at his face to push him back. ”really? We’re in public babe.” she blushed lightly as she laughed. Oh it early did feel good to laugh like this again. She hadn’t done this with clark since the beginning of their relationship. Then it went downhill. At least she knew with louis it would never be that way. Things were always fun between them, even when around his parents. His family was fun in general which helped things. And she got along with them which also helped because she fell into things easily once more when back in their home. After he emotional reunion of course.
Haven rolled her eyes in an exaggerated manner as she turned her gaze away from louis. She looked around the living room as she registered his lips on her cheek. Not much had changed. a couple pieces of furniture replaced, some new photos put up and new paintings by both men as well. Other then that, it was like coming back home and in a sense, she was. She was content on being silent until she felt like a situation forming. Even if they wouldn’t actually fight, haven felt bad. She had already thrown louis leaving in his face enough and so had everyone else. Both her hands clasped around the one closest to hers and she squeezed. ”in all fairness I did tell you two not to tell him I came by the day and who knows, that could’ve been wat might have made things different if I had let you two tell him.” there was a solitary shrug as she looked from louis to his parents. She now felt bad for asking them to do that but at the time, it seemed like the right decision for the girl with a broken heart.
As they talked, haven began to wonder how she would be able to stay awake on the car ride home. Not that she was particularly tired ye but she could tell she would be soon enough. Kaya and her husband went to get ready for the night while she followed her Louis to his room. For a moment she stood there and looked around. Emotions were choked back. Everything was the same-everything. ever photo of them he had, all the paintings he had done and she was pretty sure she could still find all his old notebooks. She stood in front of some paintings that leaned against the wall and riffled through them. ”you never packed it away or had your parents do it?” her voice was soft. Not that she cared if his parents heard but this was a moment just for them. Haven’s hands left her artwork as he pulled her down beside him. she leaned into the kiss fully and when they parted she rested her head on his shoulder.
All of a sudden everything became very real to her.
Ever word he had spoken prior to their reunion and the fact he was back with her. ”I’m so sorry, louis. I’m sorry that I didn’t believe you when you said you still loved me that day you came to my house.” haven had to hold back another wave of tears. She had been so sure he no longer loved her and she had thought so because he had left without telling her as well as never contacted her. But seeing his room was proof he had been. ”I don’t to ever go through this again. I love you too much to lose you again.”

Post by LOUIS ARDEN FITCH on Apr 19, 2013 21:15:22 GMT -5
Louis understood Haven's struggles better than anyone. He understood that she didn't want the band finding out about her nightmares and asking questions and all that. He wouldn't either in that situation. Haven and Louis were both very private about their inner workings. The only people they ever really opened up to fully was each other. Louis wasn't afraid to be vulnerable in front of Haven and vice versa. It was great to know that you could be fully exposed to another person and not have to worry about it coming back on you. Just don't wear yourself out, ok? Louis gave her a stern yet loving look. There'll be no tour for anyone if you wear yourself down and end up sick. It wouldn't have been the first time she'd worn herself thin and ended up getting sick.
Louis grinned when Haven swatted at him, then leaned in quickly and nipped at her lip before giving a low sexy growl. Who cares...I don't. He teased. But really, he didn't care what other people thought. Louis was in love with Haven and he was going to marry her some day. And he wanted everyone to know. Giving her the look he always did when she mesmerized him, Louis took some of her hair, gently wrapping around his finger a few times before dropping it and smiling at her.
As they sat on his parents house, Louis and Kaya having a friendly banter about who had been more stubborn, Louis looked at Haven and shook his head. It doesn't matter now babe....We both make mistakes, we've both admitted it...It's over now. He gave her and a gentle squeeze. He didn't want her feeling guilty about any of it. They were repairing their relationship now and they'd never have to worry about any of that crap again. It was their past. In front of them was a bright new future, full of possibility and built on love.
Louis threw some things in a bag before sat down on the bed. He watched Haven, not believing that she was actually here, but so happy that she was. Louis shook his head in the negative when he heard her question. No....I couldn't. Too many things I just couldn't bring myself to let go of...And especially now, I'm really glad I didn't. Louis wrapped his arms around her as they kissed before his hands moved up and tangled in her golden locks. When they broke the kiss, Louis snaked his arm under Haven's, holding her midsection as she leaned her sweet head against his shoulder. Louis buried his nose in her hair, breathing deeply. She smelled like fresh roses.
Louis leaned back slightly to look at her, his eyebrows furrowing, as she started to say she was sorry for something. Louis swallowed a lump in his throat. Shaking his head Louis wrapped his arms around her, pulling her close and tight. I left you with no reason to believe that I did...No one could blame you for that... He kissed her cheek, sniffling a bit as a few tears spilled down his cheeks. It as my fault...I shouldn't have left. So whatever happened before that doesn't matter babe. Please don't feel guilty about it, okay? Louis gave her a loving squeeze.
Moving to lean his forehead against hers, Louis snaked his fingers into her hair on either side of her head and stared directly into her eyes. I promise that you will never have to go through it again, okay? He assured Haven. I'm not going anywhere. It's you and me for eternity...For real this time babe. Louis kissed Haven once again, as if to seal his promise. I couldn't possibly love anyone more than I love you Haven. With her in his arms, Louis laid back on the bed. He rubbed his hands up and down her back, humming softly an old tune he'd written for her. We're gonna get married and make lots of babies and live to be a hundred and fifty. And then one night, when the moon is high and the crickets are chirping, we're old and happy with the life we've lived, I'll hold you in my arms, just like this. And I'll stroke your hair, and I'll kiss you one last time, and together, we'll drift off into our final sleep, being able to say we spent every last moment of our lives together. Louis said in a low tone. Some guys might have been teasing with these words, but not Louis. He meant every last thing he said.

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=style,width: 350px; padding: 10px; background-image: url(http://i48.tinypic.com/4v3fjd.png);] I would lie & say that you're not on my mind... Haven knew she wouldn’t have been able to hide her real reasoning for wanting to work while everyone slept form Louis. He had always been able to read her like an open book and she him. Just when he first came back into her life she was in denial a little bit about everything she was noticing. She was only trying because, in a sense, they were beginning again. Not completely fresh since it was almost like they were just picking up where they left off with one another but still starting anew. Haven was already worrying him enough with the nightmares, she didn’t want to add more to it. There was already so much going on in her life, it was easy for her to feel like she was a burden to people. ”Even if I did get sick I could just stay in the hotel. I’ve had to take care of myself when I’ve been ill.” Haven’s voice was soft as she reached for her drink and took a sip. Haven wasn’t trying to make Louis feel guilty but it was the truth of the matter. Even with Clark, when she wore herself thin she had to take care of herself. It wouldn’t be too hard. At least in a hotel she could order room service so she wouldn’t have to worry about cooking.
Louis had never really been one to hide his affections. That had been a huge change for Haven when dating him. Yes, she had dated a couple guys before him but nothing really serious. Not many guys could handle the emotional baggage she carried, especially her night terrors. And the guys she dated weren’t has passionate or dedicated to their relationship as Louis was. PDA was a whole new thing for her. No he wouldn’t just start a make-out session but he had no problems showing how he felt or making little comments, even if someone was close by. Clark had been very conservative and all about having a good, public appearance-a complete one eighty from louis. The two men really were opposites so now haven had to get reused to life with louis and the dynamic the two shared. It probably wouldn’t take long considering how deeply she still loved him. She was doing well enough with being pressed against him and his arm around her at his parents. That had been really awkward for her to get used to at first. Haven didn’t wan this parents to think poorly of her so whenever louis felt like pulling her close or playing a little-even innocently-she got really nervous. Now she didn’t care so much. Even now she fell right back into being at ease besides him while they chatted with his parents.
Haven’s head moved just slightly in a nod as she listened to him. She was a very much the same way but, then again, she didn’t have paintings of him that she had done. There were some he had made her which were packed away. Now she could pull them out and hang them up without a care. And every little thing he had given her she still held onto as well. Letters, photos, memorabilia of his early merchandise and other little trinkets of their relationship. But with Louis, she figured he would have. More foolish thinking on her part. The moment Haven stepped into his room she could instantly tell that he had continued to feel the same way for her these last few years as she did for him. Haven needed to stop letting the negative thoughts overtake her. All it did was cause her more heartache then they were worth.
Whenever Haven kissed Louis now, ten times more emotions spilled out into it. It felt like her heart was breaking but being repaired all at once. The only reason it felt like it was breaking because she was so afraid of losing him again. Haven wouldn’t be able to handle it again-that she was sure of. Louis and her were soul mates. Some people may not believe in them, but she did. They just instantly blended together like they were part of one another’s very being. They had always been like this and it was doubtful it would change anytime soon. She wanted to keep holding him close and never wanted to leave his arms but she knew it was impossible to stay there all the time. Haven was still terrified she’d wake up and this was all a dream. But then he’d say something back to her having to do with everything and all the emotions flooded Haven, reminding her that none of this was a dream. Louis was really back with her and nothing would be changing that.
Haven pressed herself against him, her arms tight around his neck and shoulders. She nuzzled against him as she tried to keep her emotions in check. She could tell louis wasn’t able to anymore and it wouldn’t do them any good if both of them were breaking down. She spoke against the side of his head so it was slightly muffled but still clear none-the-less. ”I just know I wasn’t fair to you and wouldn’t even give you a chance. And I know I must’ve confused you so I have plenty to feel guilty about. I’m just so sorry louis. So very sorry.” there were a million other things she felt sorry about but it would do no good to get into every single one of them.
haven’s hands gripped louis’ upper arms where her thumbs drew circles ideally against them. Louis had her mesmerized as he held her gaze and she was barely even able to react to any of his words. Everything he said always took her by surprise. He really was so perfect in everything, including the things they said to one another. ”You and me for all of infinity…” was whispered ever so quietly just before Louis’ lips met her own. It felt so good to utter those words to him again. She easily allowed herself to fall backwards with him and adjusted herself so she was being held comfortably close to him. Haven’s eyes drifted shut as she listened to the rhythmic bump of Louis heart. Her hands continued to grip at his arms but down moved up and down them. A smile began to gently form while she listened to him talk about their future. Yes, the future they had always planned on having and could finally have with one another.
”that sounds like the perfect life to me.” haven lifted her head to and leaned down to press her lips against his again. They really were like a drug-she just kept going back for more. It was slow but full of the fiery passion she felt for him and the lingering promise of their future. When she pulled back she gazed down at him. ”now, why don’t we go back to our home and start practicing he practice round for our future honeymoon, hm?”
