AND WHILE YOUR HEAD IS SPINNINGHOLD TIGHT IT'S JUST BEGINNING* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *
jesse didn't mind parties too much, though she sometimes grew tired of them due to the fact that her parents hosted them so often. she just wasn't the girly girl type, more comfortable in jeans and t-shirt than a fancy dress and heels. of course, she cleaned up well, and if she'd wanted to switch to a girly girl you'd never know that she'd ever been anything but that. but jesse would never want to change her ways, at least, not for the foreseeable future. besides, landon liked her just the way she was, and so did her close friends, so nothing else mattered. even if it upset her parents.
she laughed as one of her friends told a joke. jesse loved humor, always ready for a good laugh. that was another great thing about landon. he was absolutely hilarious. to her, anyway. she felt her phone buzz and apologized as she pulled it out to read the text. she was happy to see it was from landon, though not surprised. he texted quite a bit when he was traveling, which jesse always enjoyed. if she couldn't see him she could at least talk to him, and that was enough to last her till he got back. she hated it when he left, though.
jesse swayed to the music as she watched the couples dancing. she sipped from her water glass, smiling as she just enjoyed listening and looking on. of course, she'd rather be dancing. she loved to, whether it was slow or fast. jesse finished her water as the dance ended, setting in down when she heard her name and turned. she smiled when she saw who it was. jayce blackwell. his was a police officer, married and had a daughter. he was a nice guy, especially for a cop. "hey jayce," she greeted. "i'm doing pretty good." jesse would have been doing better if landon had been there, of course. but that was a no brainer. "how are you? and the family?" she asked, referring to his wife and daughter. she listened to his request, and nodded. "sure, no problem. and it's no bother," jesse reassured. she didn't mind people asking her to check vehicles out, even on her day off. she was pretty used to it by now, plus she loved working on them. "you tried filling the gas tank, right?" she asked, jokingly and laughed. jesse was surprised when he asked her to dance, but happy to accept. "i would love to," she answered with a smile as she placed her hand in his.

SOMETIMES I FIND IT HARD• to believe there's someone else who could be •JUST AS MESSED UP AS MEmichael had been somewhat annoyed, though he hadn't showed it, when mr. winslet hadn't been very talkative at their meeting, especially since he'd been the one to hire him. either he wanted the help or not. if not, michael wouldn't be staying long in the little town. there was a serious threat here, however, he knew that much, and he wanted to help if possible. hopefully next time he'd be a little more informative or maybe michael would find someone else who was. then he thought of fiona and wondered if he'd be more willing to share information with her. she certainly had a way of getting men to talk. he had to include himself in that number, as well, though he hated to admit it.
he wondered if anyone else knew that he'd been hired. sometimes the less people who knew, the better, but other times it was just the opposite. the people in hope harbor were either scared to talk about it or just didn't care. michael figured it was the first reason, however. he sipped at his drink, watching as a dance started. he wasn't going to fill fiona in on everything, since he knew she'd be mad at him for making her miss this. he saw jude approaching, though he didn't look directly at him, even when he stood next to him, acting casual. "mr. winslet," he replied, nodding to him as well. michael smiled at his question. "a little chilly for my taste. lets just hope i won't be here long enough to get used to it."

[atrb=border, 0, true][atrb=style, width: 420px; background-color: #A9B1B9; border: 10px #1B2836 solid]it‘s amazing, you save me
A great thing about Cameron and Kylie together? Neither needed to show off their bodies twenty-four seven to want one another. Cameron knew enough to use his imagination as well as he knew how the fabric clung to her body. Girls who dressed to show everything were never really Cameron’s type. Sure there had been girls like that who had chased him and he went on one or two dates but that was about it. Half the time they didn’t have anything in common. Being raised by his grandparents, he very rarely watched television. He preferred his radio to the set up he had at home. Books were regularly read, games played together and they all talked with honesty. That’s why he had know from a young age everything concerning his father. And his grandparents knew whenever Cameron had tried something knew. He had a drink at a party? He wouldn’t hid it. Was that a whiff of smoke? Yeah they knew and his ass had been whooped even at fifteen. Even when he had started to fall with the wrong crowd he couldn’t lie to them. Maybe withhold information but never lied. And that didn’t last long because his uncle came around and set the boy straight.
His head bobbed in a nod as he grinned. ”I do but then again I am a man. I know nothing about fashion. This could be awful and I’d have no idea.” No matter where they were, Cameron couldn’t help but tease her and have fun. Seeing the reaction he wanted when he pinched at her side he leaned forward and pressed his lips near her ear. ”Remember I know every place you are ticklish. I have no problems using your own body against you.” No that wasn’t an accidental double mean. Cameron meant to do that but not like anyone could exactly hear them. This was a joke just for them as were so many others. They already had so many little inside jokes going on and he enjoyed that immensely. It filled his heart with a tender joy.
An amused smile graced his face. Of course he knew she wasn’t talking about Haven but it was fun to tease her. ”Well then pray tell is it that is making you happy?” Call it egotistical but Cameron liked knowing he made her happy. Knowing that made him want to punch his fist in the air because he was doing something right. Actually several some things right for getting her in his life to begin with and being able to keep her happy. He led a fairly simple life so at time he worried he couldn’t keep up with the life she seemed to be previously accustomed to but that didn’t seem to be the case. Once his school debts were paid off then that would all be different. All the money he made would go towards building a life together, mainly one she deserved. If she wanted a house, he would buy or build her the house she wanted. Travel the world, the finer foods, whatever. Cameron would do whatever was in his power to do.
For now he just enjoyed the simple things. Like the way her body relaxed in his arms as they swayed and their breathing fell into the same patterns. Their chest rose and fell in time with one another. His fingers played with a loose tendril of hair as he was careful not to undo her whole coif. Cameron grinned without opening his eyes. ”Mhmmm I am. Though you know what’d make me even happier? This…” Cameron’s grip tightened around her waist as he pulled her in for another kiss. It was chaste seeing as so many people were around but loving all the same. No this wasn’t any sexual just he wanted to show her he cared and to show everyone else that she was his girl. No one could tear her from him. He’d fight heaven and hell before letting her go from his life. Cameron knew he had found his soul mate in Kylie Stowe. If something happened to them then he’d truly be lost. He wasn’t sure if he’d ever move on to be honest. Funny, just over two weeks ago he had met someone else just like that. Maybe Cameron was starting to understand his point of view on things.
When Kylie said she loved him, a hand rubbed up and down her back. He loved to hear her say that. ”And I love you, darling.” Cameron hated to say ‘I love you too’. To him it seemed too casual and their relationship was anything but. The two did numerous things to show their love even if they didn’t say it. Such as her hand traveling to his neck. When it was placed there a shot of need to have her close to him. Most others would just brush off her hand as something she did to get the kiss but to him her soft hand showed the tenderness that was between them. When he pulled away from the kiss he pressed a small one to the tip of her nose. ”Do you want anything to drink? I can get us some champagne or some juice and sparkling cinder.” Considering one of the hosts of the event was pregnant and there were some attendees under eighteen, not everything could really be alcoholic. Him and Kylie didn’t really over indulge themselves. The only thing he had several of was beer but that barely effected him and he stopped well before getting drunk. With his father being a drunk he never wanted to go down that road.

[/color] Jude chuckled as he lifted his drink to his lips. Anyone from down south usually hated the cold. He knew Cameron did as he usually made jokes when he hung around Jude and Sydni. His chuckle turned quickly to a scowl. ”No let’s hope not.” His jaw clenched and unclenched for a moment. With Sydni out of sight there wasn’t much risk for her finding anything out. Plus as far as anyone knew Jude could be trying to get a donation out of this stranger. ”But maybe in a couple days we could meet up for lunch and I could maybe change your mind about our town. It’s really not so bad when you get past the cold.” In a couple days this Charity Ball nonsense would be done with so they could settle down. That and Jude could get some files out of his father’s office since the man would be going out of town for a week.
He watched a couple people pass them by. ”Just so you know, if you see anyone with a green ribbon they will chat your ear off about our school programs. Though if you wait too long they may chat about more then that.” Jude had tried to figure some stuff out on his own but that wasn’t his job. That and no one in town would tell him. He was the town lawyer so people were terrified of him spilling too much. If anyone in town knew anything telling a lawyer if they weren’t his client was unwise. Especially since Jude had been a victim of the vendetta this person seemed to have. ”And you know what? The best person to talk to about the school is the pastor. The school has done incredible things to help since his daughter was kidnapped. It goes to show the caring nature of our teachers after something so traumatic happens in our town.” Jude put on another smile before he walked away. No, he really couldn’t come out and say everything he wanted to but he figured he did an ok enough job to give Michael some nudges. He wasn’t trying to tell the man how to do his job but short of introducing Michael to everyone himself, there wasn’t much to do. And if Jude was standing there they might not say as much

dominic smiled. "me too." he laughed as she finished. "it sure looks real," he agreed, glancing up at the lights and squinting. "am i looking that pale?" dominic asked with a laugh, though he knew she was just joking, of course. "and how do you know i'm not?" he asked in a mysterious voice.
he laughed, knowing how it was to have a three year old. except, everleigh didn't beg to go to the park, usually. she wanted to go to the beach or for a ride in his boat. "great to hear. yeah, everleigh doesn't seem to realize that, either." or maybe she just didn't care. dominic figured that was probably it, because it didn't matter how many times he told her it was too cold out, she'd still want to go anyway.
"everleigh is.. crazy, cute and hilarious, as usual," dominic replied, laughing. "yeah, she's growing pretty quick. too quick, for my tastes, but what can you do." of course, willow would know that feeling, since their daughters were the same age. "that'd be nice. i'm sure she'd love that. she's with her mom this week and next, but after that, i don't see why not." no, dominic didn't find it too painful to talk about her, at least not most of the time.
dominic nodded, liking that idea. "umm.. she loves barbies and my little ponies right now, but that could change anytime." everleigh changed her favorite toys pretty often, except for the one baby doll that would probably always be her absolute favorite.

Post by LOUIS ARDEN FITCH on Feb 20, 2013 12:38:15 GMT -5
Louis had always been pretty good about listening to Haven and taking advice from her, and even though he might have something to say about it, this time would be no different than any other. I know. he told her. It's just...it's not always that cut and dry. It wasn't that Louis didn't want to see his parents more often, because he did. It was just that when he was on tour, he couldn't always just break away for a weekend to go home. A tour was exhausting enough without extra flights and more jet lag. Of course there were the times when he wasn't touring. But those were spent writing new material, practicing, and recording. And he couldn't very well ask the band to uproot their lives and move to Maine, just so he could see his parents more often. Still, he would do his best.
Louis couldn't help but smile as Haven spoke about her sister. A pleasant look had spread across Haven's features and he quite liked it. It was obvious she already cared for the younger Stowe. Louis had often wished he'd had a brother or sister. An only child, there had been times when he had been quite lonely for a playmate or a confidant. Or someone to just go hang out and do stuff with, not that he didn't do that with his friends. But it would have been different with a brother or sister. That's amazing...I'm so glad she found you. His voice held great sincerity. Louis felt bad when she said she expected that Kylie would go away. Well even if she does go away for a time, it won't be forever. I'm sure she'll come back as often as she can. I mean you said she spent over a decade searching for you. My guess is she'll be none to eager to make a permanent break....try not to worry about it too much. Louis said that last part in a soft, almost apologetic tone. He'd never wanted to be on the list of people who qualified as abandoners in Haven's life. But he was. And he thought it the most awful place he could possibly have been. It was heart wrenching, but there was no one to blame but himself.
Louis smiled as Haven talked about their old college friends. It had seemed then like they'd all know each other and hang out together forever. No one could ever have guessed things would happen they way they had; None of them talked anymore, Louis and Haven had split. Nate married?! Blake in Florida?! How times had changed. And in the over all scheme of things, rather quickly at that. Louis would give just about anything to go back and relive those days, make different decisions than he hand ultimately . Wow. That is amazing. he chuckled. I miss the old gang....It'd be pretty cool to get in contact with them again....They probably all think I'm jerk anyway though. So maybe it's better off. Louis wasn't saying that just because he'd left Haven, though that was no doubt the biggest reason he should have been considered a jerk. But because he was rich and famous now, two things he had said he'd never be (though not vowed to be fair). They probably thought he'd turned into an arrogant snob.
Louis couldn't help but laugh his way through the faster dance, grinning from ear to ear, eyes twinkling. It was a beautiful sight to see Haven with her head back, laughter rolling from her lips as she was lead through the interpretive steps. Haven was always amazingly gorgeous. But she was never more beautiful or more appealing to him then when she was happy. It was obvious that she'd not had the chance to let loose and be this happy in a long time and that burdened his heart.
Finish the dance with a breathless chuckle, he nodded to her needing a drink and turned in the direction of the concessions. He noticed how her hand had begun to reach for his, but he she pulled it back. Louis decided that it was probably a better idea, not to put his arm around the small of her back as he had planned. So the two awkwardly left the dance floor. I would like a dry martini and a glass of water for the lady. Louis instructed the bartender and placed a few bills on the bar top. Receiving the drinks Louis handed Haven her water and took his Martini. He held the drink in one hand and the other hand was shoved down into his pocket. Not wanting to be in the way of other patrons, Louis suggested they sit at one of the little tables set off to the side.
Setting down his drink, Louis pulled out the chair for her and pushed it in as she sat. Sitting down himself a moment later, he sipped his Martini. Looking over the edge of the glass, he saw a man coming their direction at a rather fast pace. This was most obviously Clark. Uh-oh...here's trouble. He said softly and inclined his head in the man's direction and waited for Haven to look behind her and confirm his assumption.

SOMETIMES I FIND IT HARD• to believe there's someone else who could be •JUST AS MESSED UP AS MEmichael noticed the mood change when he mentioned not being there long. the whole situation was obviously upsetting to him, and why not? especially when it seemed no one else was doing anything about it. "yes, i think that would be a good idea," michael replied, just before taking another glass from a tray. "i'm sure it's not." he glanced at jude again, flashing a smile, then sipped from his drink. it wasn't that he thought badly of the place, in fact, just the opposite. it had a nice look to it for sure. he just didn't want to get comfortable here, because that would mean the problem was still there. no, michael wanted to get things taken care of as soon as possible. he didn't really have selfish reasons for doing this; he did have a heart. his concern was for the people of hope harbor, and well, maybe his rush had a little to do with the weather. maybe.
he smiled, studying the crowd as he listened to jude. "thanks for the warning," michael said, lifting his glass a little in his direction, then took another drink. he looked at him for a moment as he heard the last part, figuring he knew what jude was implying, but not entirely sure. he wasn't going to take the time to find out, either, because it really wasn't important. michael had wondered, at first, why jude hadn't done his own investigating, until he found out he was a lawyer. a lot of people had low opinions of them, and they certainly didn't like talking to them, either, especially about touching things, like the situation at hand. michael was having a hard enough time without being a lawyer, and it'd no doubt be doubly hard for jude. so it made sense. he pulled his thoughts away from his musings as he heard him start to speak again. michael nodded, having planned on speaking with both the pastor and his daughter, natalie, as soon as possible. "right. i'll be talking to them within the next couple of days," he replied. actually, he was hoping to the following day, or at least one of them.
it sounded like they were a pretty close knit town, which wasn't surprising. most small towns were. michael downed the rest of his champagne as jude walked away. at least he'd got some more information, with another meeting planned.

Post by KYLIE BRIDGET STOWE on Feb 20, 2013 15:03:51 GMT -5
Kylie smiled and laughed, shaking her little head at her handsome man. No....You have a good fashion sense. Kylie assured him.And if anyone would know, that would be me babe. She really did like the way Cameron dressed. He did well for himself. His outfits were never too tight nor too loose, simply hugged the right areas and showed his square muscular build. Kylie always felt her heart race a little when she looked at him. Yes, Cameron was very satisfying indeed and in every area. Looks, fashion, food (the boy could cook) and of course, he did pretty darn well in bed too. Kylie couldn't complain. She counted herself among the most fortunate few who had a man who was real and good and strong in character.
Mmmm.... Kylie growled softly. Are you trying to turn me on? She eyed him sensually. Because it's working....And it's really not fair to do that to me here and now...unless you plan to drop out of the party early. Kylie was only teasing, but there was some truth to it. He was turning her on. Cameron was quite successful at getting her "in the mood". Sometimes Kylie was sure it was on purpose, other times, not so sure. But either way, she did enjoy when he did it to her. And she enjoyed it more when they could take care of it right then and there. But that wasn't possible here, unless they were to sneak away. But then someone might come looking for them and that could prove to be embarrassing for everyone involved.
Ohhh... Kylie started, sounded rather bemused. There's this guy....I'm kinda seeing him....And he's really sweet and... she blushed a little. He's kinda...no...really, really hot....And I sorta fell hard for him. Kylie looked into his eyes and they moved through the dance, a playful smile on her lips. In fact...I think you might know him.. She added at the last. Kylie reached up and ran her fingers through the hair on the side of Cameron's head, fixing a few strands that had fallen out of place. Yah...I think he's a pretty swell guy. She told him in a tone that was both romantic and serious. And I'm thinking...he and I may just need to have a sleep over tonight. Kylie winked at him. Yes...she was very clear about what she wanted.
Kylie smiled and rubbed her nose against Cameron's. What would make you happier? she asked and giggled when he swept her into his arms and kissed her. Mmmmmm.. she breathed into the kiss. Kylie loved being so close to him. Feeling his arms about her and the electricity between them as their lips touched. When he broke away after a time, Kylie smiled and placed her hand on his cheek. I think we need to try that again....we almost got it perfect that time. And she leaned in to kiss him once more. Of course the kiss had been perfect. Kylie thought every one of their kisses were perfect. Cameron really knew how to get to a girl. It was just a good excuse to get to kiss him again.
As they left the dance floor, Kylie nodded to the drink. Mmmm. she replied softly. Champagne please....Pink Champagne. She gave him a girlish smile and quickly pressed a kiss to his cheek. Kylie thanked him for the drink when it was handed to her. I'm having a wonderful evening babe. Kylie told him, after she had swallowed a sip of her drink. She was the type of girl that wanted people to know that she appreciated them and what they did for her And she greatly appreciated Cameron and all that he was to her and did for her.

[atrb=border, 0, true][atrb=style, width: 420px; background-color: #A9B1B9; border: 10px #1B2836 solid]it‘s amazing, you save me
Cameron quirked up a brow in general surprise. ”A good fashion sense? I throw on a t-shirt and jeans and you wanting to rip them off makes it a good sense of fashion? Well then…” He winked at her playfully. Tonight was already proving to be a lot of fun for the two of them. They rarely got to do anything like this. Ok, they hadn’t gotten to do anything like this yet. This being dress up to the nines, show one another off and just have fun. Yes they had fun while alone and when they went out other times but truthfully he felt awkward doing most things at Haven’s house. Mainly because Clark made him uncomfortable and he didn’t want to show off Kylie’s playful side too much. The guy already had to see her in her pajamas. Even if they weren’t revealing the thought didn’t sit well with him. Which is why he was going to finally tell Kylie everything but right now he wanted to keep enjoying the night. Things were just a lot of fun for them right now.
Cameron put on a slack jawed, exaggerated innocent look. ”Why I never,” he drawled out in a high pitched tone. ”Miss Stowe I do believe your mind is in the gutter. I think we’ll have to do something about that.” Cameron had to admit-he loved he had this effect on her. It was fun to tease her throughout the day. Even if it ended up no where that day by the time they came together it again it was intense. Even without the teasing it was intense. Two passionately in love people wanting to express their feelings for one another led to some amazing things. He stepped back and raised a hand up jokingly. ”Oh I am all for leaving early. We can have a better midnight kiss elsewhere.” Cameron wasn’t a horndog but with Kylie he just couldn’t help it. She brought out every side of him, except his angry side. The two had yet to have a real blow out. He had a feeling that would change soon enough but so far nothing. She did have a way of bringing out his joyful, lustful, sensitive and thoughtful sides. Sure his friends were able to see some aspects of him but Kylie saw them all laid out before her. And he had no shame in that.
Cameron reached up to rub a thumb along her crimson cheeks. She was beyond adorable at that moment. She was just too precious at times and he was lucky she was all his. ”Really? I know him? Hmmm is it that new doctor, Oliver? You know he had a British accent that all the ladies love. I’m sure that’s what made you fall for him.” Which he wondered if the guy had come. Wait that was off topic. Oh how his spastic brain worked sometimes taking him from one topic to the next like it was nothing. The only matter that held any importance was Kylie and the feel of her in his arms. The warmth of her body against his as they swayed to the music. The way some tendrils of hair fell along the side of her face, just grazing her skin. The color that had reach her skin when she blushed and how she flirted with him. ”Well I think I can arrange a sleep over. Should we call your guardians to bring you a toothbrush and some clothes? Though the last part is optional.” The last statement he leaned in to whisper for only her to hear.
Cameron was aware of one lady who passed them by and said how sweet Kylie and Cameron looked to her friend. And he was only aware of that because he heard Kylie’s name. He had no qualms about letting others see how in love he was with his girlfriend. He was not a man who hid his feelings-ever. He’d kiss her wherever in town that she’d let him. Now him keeping it chaste was the only issue as she stirred emotions of love and passion within him every time she drew her body in towards his. He didn’t protest to another kiss form her as he laughed into this one as well. ”You know I am a respected doctor in this community. I think you need to learn to restrain yourself.”
As he walked away Cameron reached up to yank at his bow tie. It was already too hot to have it on. As he stood at the bar that was set up he looked around quickly. His eyes caught sight of Kylie’s sister with...someone that was not her fiancée. He couldn’t tell who the man was but he knew it wasn’t Clark because Clark has blonde hair, not brown. He couldn’t think on it too long as their drinks were ready. Cameron wanted some wine and since the servers were only carrying around champagne he needed to come over here. He brought the drinks over and pressed a kiss to Kylie’s cheek. ”Um so awkward but have you seen your sister since her and Clark arrived?” Cameron didn’t want Kylie to get the wrong idea, especially since she didn’t know everything. He downed half his wine before he gulped down his nerves. ”Kylie, remember that first day we met your sister and how I reacted when she mentioned Clark? Well, I have to tell you something…” He prayed she didn’t hate him after this and that she didn’t go right to Haven here at the Charity Ball. That’d be a disaster.

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=style,width: 350px; padding: 10px; background-image: url(http://i48.tinypic.com/4v3fjd.png);] I would lie & say that you're not on my mind... Haven felt disappointed in talking with Louis about his parents. ”No I guess it isn’t.” For a moment, she held out some hope that if things really didn’t work out with Clark she could make it work with Louis. But if he wasn’t able to work around his tour to come see his parents what would make her different? Other celebrities made it work but apparently that would never be so with him. That’s what really sealed things for her that they could only be friends, all on top of his past actions proving he had never cared. What happened to the man she loved? When she looked at him she saw snippets of him under the surface but over it was someone she no longer knew. Someone she could no longer love. That stabbed her in the gut so hard it felt like all the air was knocked out of her lungs.
The involuntary grin that formed when Haven talked about her sister was unavoidable. The last couple weeks the two girls had really been having fun getting to know one another. Haven didn’t have many photos from her foster care days but the ones she did have were all happy memories. She didn’t keep a single bad memory in photo form. The ones she had were locked in her mind for only her to know. Well, her and Louis as she had told him everything. Not even Kylie knew everything yet. Just enough to know it hadn’t been very good. ”Yeah I am too. She’s pretty great. The opposite of me, though. She has a very elegant style and well mannered air about her. We are polar opposites at times then there are just little things we have in common. Like how we ramble when nervous and when we’re both tired we get kind of giggly.” Her nose crinkled up fondly at the thought of the things the girls were discovering about one another.
Her gaze focused along his shoulder while he spoke about Kylie as if he knew what she’d do. Haven couldn’t hang her hat that Kylie would make things work just because she had looked for a decade. Especially coming form him. Her mouth pressed together to form a thin line as she tried to keep a level head. ”Right, because you’re the expert on this subject.” Her eyes welled up with tears which she quickly blinked back as she swallowed the lump of emotions that had risen up in her throat. ”Even if she doesn’t break off communication things would never be the same, Louis. She works as a fashion designer. She’s going to have long hours and traveling all over the world. Who knows what time zone she’ll be in from day to day. Why get close to people when all they do is squash what little hope I have?” Her head shook firmly. ”No, we’re doing just fine and she understands I don’t wish to tell her everything. She knows I haven’t had it easygrowing up. If I broke down my defenses for her just because she’s my sister then it won’t destroy me when she leaves.”
Haven had truly become cynical with some aspects of her life. Love and trust were the big ones. And hope. Haven didn’t have much hope left in her. Perhaps that’s why she wasn’t eager to break things off with Clark. She could hope and pray Louis was the same man she loved but really that wasn’t the case at all. They were both different people. Haven being a harder version of the girl he first met. Her emotions were locked down tighter then they had ever been in her life. That was part of the reason their friends had distanced themselves. They saw Haven was on a path of self destruction and there was no way to stop it.
Haven nodded in agreement about getting in contact with everyone. Personally she was afraid but they couldn’t all avoid everyone forever. ”I have their emails. I’ll give them to you at some point.” Haven tilted her head to the side and sighed. ”No they don’t. They’ve asked me about you but since we haven’t talked I haven’t had any news.” That wasn’t false. When the whole group had chatted on AIM last they said they would’ve figured that her and Louis would’ve fixed things but they were so wrong. Still, with them, she never spoke an ill word of him. Haven still loved him after all. He would always hold a power over her. Anyone who knew them back in their college years would know that. And if their friends saw them now they’d say the exact same things. As they moved together, it didn’t matter that they didn’t know every step. They were just having fun. Real, honest to goodness fun.
As she leaned against the bar top, Haven’s hand went to rub at her neck and shoulders. As she did so her hand went over the top of her tattoo. It wasn’t raised but she knew here it was and some color left her face. Had he seen it? Or course he had to have seen it. It wasn’t the only one she had but that was the most personal one. ”Thank you,“ she said to both the sever and Louis once her drink was brought out. She gripped the glass of water and sipped it as they moved o the table. Haven’s lips drew in an ice cube which she sucked on before she bit down on it. She set her drink and clutch down before she smiled at Louis as she sat down. ”So when does the next big hit drop?” Haven was genuinely eager to know but as usual, someone upstairs had other plans. Her eyes scrunched together in thought as she followed Louis’s line of site. ”Trouble?” When her body turned she went pale as she pushed herself upwards to try to stand in his path. ”Clark, wait…” but that wasn’t enough to stop her fiancée.
Clark had been done his meeting a good ten minutes. He had brought his drink out from the study and was looking around for Haven when he caught sight of her. With him. Clark wasn’t stupid. Haven had left photos out after showing them to that tantalizing little sister of hers. He put two and two together quickly enough. And seeing her with the guy from the photos solidified his theory that Haven’s mind was elsewhere. His heart he could care less about. What he needed was her to focus and her mind in the game as he went through his political career.
The end of their dancing when Haven leaned her head back and close to the man’s head is what pushed him over. Clark down his drink before he moved from the balcony area and down the stairs. Once he broke through the crowd his pace picked up very quickly. Haven’s words didn’t even register. His alcohol fueled rage only led him to pull his fist back to make contact with Louis’s face. ”Listen you piece of sh*t-I think it’s high time you left. Learn to keep your hands somewhere they belong which is not my fiancée.”
Haven’s hands went up to her mouth as Clark threw the first punch. ”Clark! Was that necessary?” came out as a small group formed around them. A couple other people got up from their tables. Only after each man made their next move did Haven step back and crane her neck. She caught sight of the people she wanted. ”KYLIE! JESSE! I NEED YOU NOW! PLEASE!” Haven had yet to ask her sister for anything. Now she needed her and her best friend.

Post by LOUIS ARDEN FITCH on Feb 21, 2013 10:54:28 GMT -5
Louis saw the look Haven got in her eye when he said it just wasn't easy to come home. Well the tour and practices and recordings weren't the only reason it was hard to come home. It was just hard being there period, because everything he did and everywhere he went in Portland reminded him of Haven. Even his room. Not just because she was basically plastered all over his room in pictures and song lyrics. But because of the things they'd said and done in that room. There had been occasions where Louis' parents had been out of town overnight and they had taken full advantage of Kaya and Louis' absence. Those types of memories just didn't leave you. And when it was all over, those memories were the kind that never stopped plaguing and hurting you. Haven, was the bigger reason why it was just too hard to come back often. I'll do better Haven....I promise. Louis was the kind of guy who couldn't successfully lie, at least to Haven. Because his eyes gave him away every time. Or at least that's what she had told him in the past. But there was only truth in his eyes tonight. As hard as it would be, he would come back as often as he humanly could, if it made Haven, and his parents for that matter, happy.
Louis rolled his yes at her, a smirk on his handsome face. You're too hard on yourself Haven. he told her. Which one is your sister? Louis looked around the place. Is she here tonight? When Haven pointed her out on the dance floor, in the arms of a dirty blonde gentleman who's back was currently to them, he smiled. She is beautiful...and elegant...But not so much as you. He said seriously. Of course Louis was partial. But he'd always found Haven to be the most beautiful elegant woman he'd ever laid eyes on. From that first day he'd seen her and jumped off that stage to go after her, he'd thought that. The way she carried herself, the way she'd smiled and laughed with her girlfriends, the way her hair had tossed about as she walked. The way her body had moved as she walked and the way her hands grasped the strap of her purse. Louis had never seen anything quite like it. Quite like her. Well I'm glad you two are getting along. He was happy that she finally had a blood relationship in her life. Louis knew Kylie meant more to her than she was willing to let on.
Haven's next words stung him deeply. He deserved him. But they were very painful and very hard to take. And then he saw her stay the tears that threatened to drop and he sighed, putting his head down. He couldn't look at her. Finally, when she'd finished, Louis looked up at her, and placed his larger hand over her delicate smaller one that rested on the tabletop. A sympathetic look graced his masculine features. Maybe you should voice your concerns to her....work something out to make sure you'll still get to see each other regularly. He suggested. The biggest problem in relationships, romantic or otherwise, is that people didn't always voice what they were feeling, concerned about, or needing. And that caused so many more problems than people really knew. Louis hoped she'd take his advice and that it would help.
I'd like that, thanks. Getting in contact with the old gang again, maybe arranging a reunion of sorts would be fun. Though Louis was concerned that they might find each other startlingly different in appearance and personality. As people matured (that is if they matured), they changed. Remnants of who they had been before were still there. But in most cases it was only remnants. So it was one of those things that could be really cool....or really, really awkward. Louis would have to put some more thought into it.
Louis smiled at her question, glad she was taking a bit of an interested in what he was doing with his life. The next big hit? Well... he started, but stopped just as quickly as Clark reached them. Louis watched, not sure what to do as Haven jumped to her feet and said something to him. Setting down his drink, Louis stood and no sooner had Clark got the words out, then Louis felt the guys fist connect with his face. No Louis was the kind of guy that could hold his own and in the overall scheme of things, was probably much stronger than Clark. But when one was caught unawares, there wasn't much they could do. So Louis was sent hurtling back, his head striking the bar as he fell to the ground. A hand went to the back of his head instinctively and another to his nose, both of which were bleeding profusely. His eyes watered and everything stung. But the hot tempered Louis rose to his feet anyway, leaned against the bar a moment to steady himself as he was dizzy, than took a very direct swing at Clarks face, sending him flying back to land on a table, which promptly collapsed beneath the man, before he fell back to the floor himself and blacked out.

Kylie laughed hysterically at his voice, putting her hand over her mouth in a vain attempt to muffle it some. I didn't think your voice could get that high! she said, when she could finally breath again. Cameron was always making her laugh and that was another in the the long list of things, that made her love him. People needed comedy, fun, and romance in a relationship. The absence of any one of those three qualifications, could end what would have otherwise been a beautiful relationship. There were too many people in this world, that just didn't seem to understand that. Yah? You think so? She teased about having a better midnight kiss elsewhere. But of course she agreed. Who wanted to have their first new years kiss together, with a bunch of other people watching? That was okay for a different year. But Kylie was of the impression that their firsts together should be experienced with just the two of them.
Kylie loved the way he could caress different areas of her body, even her face and it could make her go wild inside. His thumb on her cheek was both soothing and flustering. Oliver?! Nooooo... Kylie waved her hand dismissively. He's very nice to be sure....And he does have a simply gorgeous accent, just like Tristan...But he's not for me...No I was thinking of someone infinitely better. Kylie had met Oliver once and just like his brother, he was a sweet respectable man. Kylie hoped one day he could find love again. But found it so very endearing and heartbreaking that he was still so devoted to the memory of the wife he'd lost, far too soon.
Kylie grinned. Ohhh....no. No need for guardians and certainly no need for clothes. She did indeed have a way of getting what she wanted from Cameron (Only in a good way though. She never took advantage), but let's just say, if she had her way, there would be a surprise or two in store for her man tonight. Kylie liked to be spontaneous, surprising, and a bit racy at times. But only for Cameron. In fact, he was the only one that really knew she could be that way. Everyone else looked at Kylie and saw an sweet, innocent, angelic being. But Cameron saw all that and more. Cameron knew the intimate side of Kylie that no one else had ever experienced, at least, not the way he had. There was something very special about the person you were sure you wanted to spend the rest of your life with, being the first one you ever truly made love to.
Kylie was blissfully unaware of everyone around them and what they were saying and doing. All she cared about or noticed right now, was Cameron. Wrinkling her nose, she brushed it against his, kissed his lips and withdrew. Respect is overrated. She teased and then really laid one on him. Kylie didn't care what people thought and she was fairly sure that Cameron didn't either. She was here to enjoy a night with the man she loved and that was exactly what she was going to do.
Kylie leaned her head the opposite way of Cameron, so he could have more access to her when he kissed her cheek. She smiled and accepted the drink, thanking him. Pink Champagne was one of her favorites. Kylie didn't indulge very often and on the rare occasion that she did, she drank modestly. She respected herself and those around her and acted accordingly, which was not to get drunk. Maybe slightly buzzed. But never drunk. She was smarter and more mature then that. No...I haven't. Kylie replied curiously and looked about her a bit. Why? she asked with furrowed brows.
Just as Kylie had nodded at his next comment, she heard a loud crash and then another, startling her. And than Haven yelling her name. Jumping up from her seat, Kylie rushed in her sister's direction, unaware if Cameron had followed or not. She saw the two men laying on the floor. One she didn't know, unconscious and Clark lying on top of a pile of wood, which had been a table. Oh my gosh! What happened? Kylie's hands went over her mouth in shock. We need a doctor! Turning around she saw Cameron quickly coming their direction. Cameron! He's unconscious! She pointed to the man lying on the floor. There was blood on his face and a little on the tile beside his head. Leaving Cameron to look after him, Kylie rushed over to Clark, who seemed to be ignored in all this mass confusion. Helping him up as best she could, she spoke to him. Clark! Clark....Are you okay? The poor man looked dazed. Kylie wondered how this had started and who, if anyone, was at fault. And most of all, she wondered what Cameron had been about to tell her, when they were interrupted.

[/color] Jude wasn’t really sure how to this. Yes, he had hired private detectives before but it was for stupid things. Catching a few photos of someone, snagging some files and that was it. This was a larger scale. Jude’s family was involved as was Sydni’s. Hiring this guy meant someone else knowing what was going on. He was sure his father wouldn’t like that but Jude was sick of it. He was sick of the lies and even more tired of having to shoulder all this. With his father’s partner leaving soon that was more pressure on Jude to take over the other half of the business. All on top of normal cases and dealing with this mess. every time something happened his father, Sydni’s father, the pastor and a couple others would gather together. The sight of them made Jude sick.
He hated having this conversation in a public setting, even if he was being vague. Everything was just a giant mess. He scanned over the crowd to try to get a look at any of the people involved in the past events. There were more then just the five men. Oh no, there were a couple dozen people who had family members all entwined in this web of lies. Including Natalie’s father, which is why when Michael mentioned talking to them both Jude shook his head. His hand sliced through the air dismissing the idea. ”No. You can talk to them but not together.” Jude looked over at Michael and turned so he could better face the man. While he hadn’t talked ot Natalie, he had seen the changes in her the last two or three weeks as he went to church. His voice dropped. ”Natalie’s dad won’t let a stranger talk to her. Only two people on the police force were allowed to speak to her and my father and I are the only other people who have seen those files. If you go there he will not let you near her.”
Jude’s hand went up to scratch along his jaw line as he thought over things a moment. ”Natalie and I have a mutual...friend. Isabella Helstrom. The two girls have become very close as of late. I’ll talk to Isabella and have her bring Natalie to you to talk. Either my office or the next town over.” His eyes became icy as he gazed in the general direction that he last saw the pastor. ”From what I’ve heard of the rumor mill she’s easily set of since that night. Isabella seems to be one of the few people able to calm her so that is your best option.” Jude was very protective over the women in his life. Though he wasn’t close friends with Isabella their fathers were close. Jude had come to think of her as a cousin of sorts. They hadn’t talked lately but he could just tell that something in her was different. And he wasn’t the only one to notice.
As he moved along, he heard the local floral shop owner screaming out. With a furrowed brow Jude moved the couple feet to see the scene-just as the musician threw Clark Sevigny into a table. ”Holy sh*t.” Jude couldn’t really do much so instead he looked around and saw Jayce Blackwell, a local cop, dancing with Jesse. Jude moved backwards and went to him. ”Sorry to break this up but I think we have a problem that requires a gentleman of your profession. And Jesse that friend of yours who owns the floral shop needs you. Like, now.” He smiled apologetically at Jesse

whatever you want here--} ❂ ❂ ❂ ❂ ❂ Willow couldn't help but smile when talking to Dominic, he was such a nice guy and was so kind to everyone. He was like the perfect guy, so good with kids. Unfortunately life had been not so nice to him. Guess nice guys really did finish last in life. Then again he had a beautiful baby girl so was it really last or just a different kind of first?
"Just a little pale hun but nothing some time out in the sun or at a spa couldn't fix." She teased, shaking her head slightly, rather amused. "Maybe we can have some girl time, I'm sure I can fix you up to look pretty."
Willow smiled softly, watching him light up as he talked about his daughter. She was sure she also got excited when she spoke about Madison. It was a parent thing, everyone thought their child was the most amazing kid in the world. "Yeah Maddy is into those too. She likes coloring a lot and she has way too many dolls. My parents keep getting her stuff every time they take her out." She laughed softly, knowing that she was lucky it was just dolls and books and not noise makers and sugar. "Everleigh can come over and play sometime. Maddy needs to learn to share, she's not very good at it yet."
Willow smiled and glanced around, watching all the people having a good time, wondering if them standing there was getting in others way. "Would you like to sit down somewhere? These heels are adorable but killer on the feet." She mumbled softly and chuckled. "I'm kind of hungry too.. between Madison and school today I'm starving."

Post by OLIVER SEBASTIAN WELCOTT on Feb 22, 2013 0:51:32 GMT -5
Oliver had pretty much been keeping to himself all night. It wasn't really that hard. He was pretty good at being a wallflower when he wanted to be. Which was most of the time these days. He had, had a few drinks and so far had managed not to have to dance. Hopefully he could make it through the rest of the night that way. It wasn't that Oliver wasn't a good dancer, because he was fine. He'd taken ballroom lessons and everything. It was just that it was something he and Lilian had enjoyed doing so much together, that he wasn't sure he could bring himself to do it with someone else. Things that Oliver had done with his deceased wife, he held almost sacred. Almost as if it would be sacrilegious to do them with someone else. Oliver didn't mean to be so "up tight" about it all. But who could blame him really. He'd lost his true love. Anyone in their right mind would have agreed that was a good enough excuse for the London native.
Oliver had enjoyed a glass of wine or two, and the music. The music he had found quite delightful. Which was saying something, because he could be a rather severe critic at times. In London he had attended the symphony regularly, and had of course been there for many of his brother's performances on the West End. He was quite cultured. Really a throw back to the Londoner's of the 1860's through to the 1920's. A wise old soul in a young man's body to be sure.
Unfortunately, Oliver had not made it through the night without conversing with a few people. One or two had been from the hospital, which he hadn't minded so much, but the other four who had tried to win him over to a long conversation, unsuccessfully, had been women. He wasn't afraid of women, he just wasn't always fond of talking to them. Especially when they all seemed to have ulterior motives. Oliver hated ulterior motives. They were usually nasty, dirty things, as far as he was concerned. In the event that Oliver ever did marry and have children, he would teach his young ones, not to have ulterior motives. Still despite the women's ulterior motives and dull conversation about things he completely could not relate to, he was the consummate gentleman and always found a polite way to make an exit. Thus he had spent most of the night in the washroom. Which, inconsequently, was very nice washroom. There was a small sofa near the door, which Oliver was becoming best friends with.
After a sufficient time spent on the sofa, Oliver would reappear in the ballroom and become a wallflower, to the best of his ability, in there again. He had thought of exploring the rest of the mansion, but it seemed no one else was doing so and he didn't want to cause the hosts any issues, by going somewhere they did not fancy him going. So he confined himself to the ballroom and the washroom. It was during one of these escapes to the washroom, that Oliver heard a noise like a stampede of Elephants crashing through the bar area, and frantic calls for a doctor. Going on auto pilot, Oliver ran toward the crowd that was gathering. Coming close, he saw that Cameron was attending to a man on the floor so he decided to check up on the man that Cameron's girlfriend, Kylie, was helping up. Are you alright sir? Are you...dizzy? Grabbing a chair, Oliver brought it round and instructed the man to sit. Pulling a small cylindrical flashlight from his pocket, Oliver checked to see if the man's pupils were dilating correctly. Someone get us some wet towels and ice please! he called to whoever might be listening. ___________________________________________________________________________ Outfit PURR!
