AND HOW I GOT TO WHERE I AM. BUT THESE STORIES DON’T MEAN ANYTHING, WHEN YOU’VE GOT NO ONE TO TELL THEM TO. IT’S TRUE, I WAS MADE FOR- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - you | [atrb=width,240][atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellSpacing,0,true][atrb=cellPadding,10,true][atrb=style, background-image:url(http://i56.tinypic.com/2zgu9hc.jpg); width: 240px; padding-top:10px;] Leila peeked through the cracked open doorway of the small room off to the side of the Old Firehouse. The place was expansive. So much so they were able to set up the lower half of the building for the ceremony specifically and the upper half for the reception. She let out an anxious breath as she observed all the people who had showed up. When Sydni had told her if they were to hold the wedding in town it was to be a town event-per an old law-Leila had not been happy. Then her mother and Daniel’s mother had calmed her down enough to agree to it. Of course they had all trapped her by doing it at the bridal shop so she couldn’t get too angry. Of course Daniel had also persuaded him in his own way and Leila caved. She was too stressed with finally starting her college courses to want to argue about wedding details too much.
Leila pulled away and leaned her back against the door. She could feel her anxiety building up. If someone had told her this time last year she would be getting married to the guy she had been crushing on for years she would not believe them as that man was her brother’s best friend. Life had changed drastically since that hot July day. To say it was a whirlwind romance would be an understatement. The two had liked each other for years and it had just grown. And that love was represented in two ways now. Their wedding and their child that Leila was carrying. A fond smile formed as she placed her arms around her waist. They had had an ultrasound just the day prior and only Leila knew the gender. She was hoping to surprise Daniel with it as a wedding present today. And she had to perfect way to tell him.
She could hear the voices as they traveled from the ceremony area as she opened her eyes. She saw her best friend as well as her parents in the area. She was unsure of where Alex was but wouldn’t press the issue just yet. Leila’s mother came over and had Leila move away from the door. She fussed over Leila’s gown, making sure there were no snags or wrinkles. As her mother did this, Leila looked at a mirror that hung on a nearby wall. She reached up to fiddle with her headband that went under the bits of hair that were pinned back and traveled under her curled locks. She wore ivory pearl and diamond teardrop earrings set in silver which were a present from Daniel. The bangle bracelet was her something old and something borrowed all in one from Daniel’s grandmother. Her shoes had a blue floral pattern design along the insoles and her own grandparents had found a six pence to put in there. Her engagement ring was on her right ring finger per tradition. Once her wedding band was on her finger and they had been announced as husband and wife, it would be placed on the proper finger.
Everything was as it should be. The decorations, her attire, the flowers and even the cake. It couldn’t have gone any smoother if they tried. If only Leila’s nerves would settle down. She drew air in through her nose and out through her mouth. Her father must have noticed this as Leila didn’t notice him come towards her until he had grabbed her hands. He soothed Leila with words of how proud he was of her and how happy he was to see her marrying someone who she loved, that loved her and was like family. Leila started to get choked up so he had to make a joke to make her laugh. Leila wrapped her arms around her father’s waist and he held her close like that. A photographer snapped a photo of that moment before the announcement was made for everyone to start lining up. Leila’s mother came over and took one hand while he father held the other(another photo opportunity). It took Leila all she had not to start crying.
As her mother left the small area, Reagan was handed her bouquet. Leila gave her older brother a kiss before the him and her best friend stood beside one another in front of Leila and her father. There were no children in either of their families so there was no flower girl or ring bearer. Red and white petals were already laid along a crimson runner. Reagan and Alex each had the rings that the bride and groom needed to give to one another. Leila’s father looped their arms together and his opposite hand went up to grip at her elbow. Leila’s hands held onto her bouquet tightly as she waited for the ceremony, and the rest of her life, to start.

[/color] Jude was rather shocked to actually be at this day. Even though he wasn’t the groom he didn’t expect this couple to be getting married. Nor this quickly. But it did scream shot gun wedding when you thought about it. Leila was, what? Four or five months pregnant now. And Daniel had proposed the day after finding out. Yup, shotgun wedding. Or that was the rumor going around. Sydni did put him in his place that it was about love but he still liked to joke around with Daniel that he was forced into it.
Being Valentine’s Day, he opted to wear a dark red shirt, black dress pants and a black vest. He decided against a formal jacket. This was an afternoon wedding so there was no reason for a full suit or a tuxedo. He wore his best dress shoes and his favorite watch and ring. Since Sydni had been helping out with the wedding, he came here after her. She had been acting off the past few weeks. He figured it just had to do with the mayor dying plus this wedding. He just didn’t want to fight so he ignored it and soothed her when needed. Be it a massage or just holding her when she needed it. Jude may have a stuffy exterior when in public but when with his Sydni, that all façade went away.
Jude found a seat about halfway down on the right side. There were just some folding chairs instead of benches. There were white slip covers with red bows on them. Up ahead the seats reserved for family looked to have little gatherings of flowers in the middle of the bow. He knew Alex was in the wedding and it looked like Leila’s brothers were ushers. Some of Daniel’s family was gathered in their seats and his parents were moving about making sure to take care of last minute touches. There was a four piece string band which seemed to be getting set up. He glanced at the program they had handed out when walking in. the ceremony had to be starting any minute. Hopefully Sydni would be able to sit with him and not do anything else with the wedding.
When he saw Leila’s mother make her way down, already tearing up it seemed, and her brothers sit down he figured it was getting close to the ceremony starting. He sat with his body slightly turned to watch for when the group made their way down the aisle. Jude already had his phone ready to snap some photos. He had grown up with the Scott family. Even if this wedding was a shock he had to commemorate it. That and tease Leila mercilessly about her being a “Little Woman” now. Daniel was already getting the ball and chain jokes form all ends. Jude knew the two did love one another but just couldn’t help it. They-Alex, Jude and Daniel-had all been friends for years. Well, Leila was like the annoying little sister but obviously one of the Three Musketeers didn’t think of her in such a way anymore.

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellSpacing,0,true][atrb=style, background-color:#f4f4f4; width:400px; padding:8px; border: 8px solid #9b6464;] she‘s had all she can take SOMETHING’S GOTTA MAKE ME FEEL ALIVE. I DON‘T KNOW WHERE IT IS BUT SOMETHING‘S GOTTA GIVE
Natalie felt happy. The past two weeks she hadn’t had a panic attack, even when people ran into her or cried out as often in the night. She still had the nightmares but they were slowly starting to fade. Very slowly, but it was enough for her. Natalie was beginning to feel normal. Well, her “new normal” that is. Gone was the sweet, mousey girl. She still had her sweet side but also wasn’t afraid to have fun. There was a couple parties where she got really wild but Autumn had pulled her out of that. Natalie was really thankful to have her as a friend.
The two had gotten ready for the wedding together. Natalie had spent last night over so they cold wake up early enough that each of them got a shower in and were able to blow dry their hair. Autumn was even kind enough to lend Natalie a dress. Natalie chose a powder blue one that had a gold chain belt around it then a rose colored shawl. Natalie at least had her own accessories and make-up. Her father was performing the ceremony though the board had said the wedding wasn’t allowed to be performed in the church as the bride was pregnant. Her father had been busy this week with the bride and groom going over how they wanted him to perform the ceremony which led to her spending a lot of time with Autumn. Not as much time with Isabella though. Since her party things had been weird with them but Natalie didn’t cut her out of her life. Natalie just had to figure some stuff out. She had enjoyed what had happened, or thought she did. Natalie had always been taught it was sinful by her father to enjoy relations with another woman. While she didn’t go that far, it did go pretty far. Of course she had done plenty with Jackson and enjoyed that as well. See, confusing? Only Autumn knew everything that had happened that Natalie and how she was confused about it. Autumn didn’t judge and listened with an open mind.
The two walked into the Old Firehouse arm in arm. The owner had restored it a few years prior and now rented it out for various events. The school’s prom was held here as well. There was the pole more for accuracy since it was a firehouse but he had redone the stairway so it was a little wider and shrank the kitchen that was upstairs down. The ceremony area didn’t take up the whole place and there seemed to be a pretty set up for some photos. For the wedding party she assumed as it was near the floor to ceiling windows. She tugged on Autumn’s arm and grinned. ”Isn’t this amazing? Everything looks so beautiful. I wonder if they’ll let us take some flowers home.” There did seem to be close to a hundred flowers, if not more, just down here. She wondered what the upstairs looked like. She saw her father move to the front and she smiled tensely at him. Since Natalie’s “transformation” things between them were rocky to say the least. ”Where do you want to sit my darling date?”

Post by DANIEL MARCUS ZAKARIAN on Mar 2, 2013 15:30:47 GMT -5
It was finally the day he had been waiting for! He was going to be married today! It was more important that everything went right today seeing as they were going to be married on Valentine’s Day. Not only was he nervous but they went to the doctor yesterday and looked at the baby. It was all on his mind now that they were making their lives together. They would be married in less than two hours and their lives together would begin. As that hour got closer his body started to shake with nerves. Everything was going to be okay, right?
Not dressed in his tux yet he walked through the place making sure everything was set up. Yes, he was staying very strict with not seeing his bride until the second she was up there with him and pastor Owens. Making sure everything was the way that Leila wanted it he smiled and went to greet some of the guests. By the time he was done greeting some it was about time for him to run and get changed. Walking into his room he quickly took a shower, dried off and got ready. A red rose was the last thing he added to his tux. With a smile he headed back out to oversee everything that was going on.
Once he was back out he noticed some people he knew from around town. There was little Natalie Owens and her friend Autumn. With a smile he headed over to them. “Hello girls, I hope you two are doing well today.” He stood there talking to them for ten minutes and then moved on to go and greet anyone else that he noticed. His attention finally landed on Jude. One of his best friends was finally here! He walked over to him with a grin and shook his head. “No game over jokes.” He teased as he went and hugged his friend. “Thanks for coming.”
It felt good that he was marrying his best friends’ sister. She was someone he cared for and was going to take care of. When Owen’s came over and told him it was getting closer to starting he sighed and told Jude he’d talk to him later. It would be so much better if he had his best man with him right now. It would help ease his nerves. Moving up to the front he smiled at his parents, grandparents and Leila’s parents and grandparents. This was the moment that was going to change his life. Closing his eyes he took in deep breathes to calm his nerves. When the music started to play his eyes snapped open as he looked to the minister. It was time.

The wedding was today? Holy crap! How could she forget about it? She was going to have to get ready really fast to be able to make it to the wedding on time. Running to the bathroom she hopped into the shower and cleaned herself up. Once out she pulled out her hairbrush and blow dryer and quickly dried it and fixed it up enough to look good. Next she pulled out her make-up and fixed herself up to look good. Who knows maybe she would meet someone at the party would she could talk to and have fun dancing with. Seeing as things between her and Natalie were so weird right now. Walking out of her bathroom she pulled on her dress then put some jewelry on. She was going to look her best today. Sure it wasn’t the sexyness that she looked like normally but she would still be somewhat attractive. Grabbing a pink jacket to cover her shoulders she put it on and headed out to her car. Getting into it she headed to the old firehouse. Parking in one of the free spots she sat in her car and fixed up her hair and make-up. Stepping out of her car she locked it and headed up to the old firehouse and took one of the programs that was handed to her. It looked really beautiful inside. One day she would have a wedding like this and be married to the one person that makes her happy the most. Looking around the place she spotted some people she had talked to before. When her eyes landed on Natalie her eyes widened and she remembered the night very clearly. When she walked by where she was at she gave her a small shy smile and continued on noticing she was with another girl. Oh, well that was okay. She turned away quickly not wanting her to see her sad. When she spotted Jude standing there a smile returned to her lips as she walked up to him and gave him a big hug. Her accent coming back out. “Jude! How are you doing? Have you thought about my proposal yet?” She still had all the money she was going to pay him ready to give to him in cash. Looking over his shoulder she took another look around the place and smiled. “It’s beautiful in here isn’t it?”

[/color] Seeing as Jude had no one to talk to, he just fiddled on his phone for awhile. There were no business emails coming in. nearly every place in town was closed down. Well the mom and pop shops that is. There were some “box stores” that were open but the town couldn’t do anything about that. People in service fields such as the cops that were allowed off duty and Jude himself had to keep their phones on vibrate at least. He flipped through his Facebook and chuckled. Leila had put a status up.
[/b][/I][/ul] Jude laughed before he hit comment. Awww how sweet. An alien has embodied Little Leila making her quote cheesy pop songs instead of broody indie music. It didn’t long before his phone went off because she had commented back with, You’re just jealous you’re not in the wedding. Now stop ruining it for others =P I’m going to finish getting ready and you stop being a jerk. It’s wedding after all. They’re supposed to be happy. Gosh, didn’t your mom teach you anything? She may be getting married but it was still the same old Leila he knew. The annoying little brat. So weird Daniel didn’t think so. Jude tucked his phone away and Daniel came around. He stood up and gasped him in a hug. ”Hey you said it not me.” Jude pulled back and clasped his hands on Daniel’s arms before he breathed in tensely. ”Don’t forget if anything happens you have more her brothers who will be coming after you.” Jude dropped his hands and slipped them into his pockets before he smiled. He really was happy for the two no matter how bizarre the situation was. ”Really though I’m happy for you two. I guess it was bound to happen, right?” He watched Daniel walk away and that was about the time Isabella Helstrom came around. Talk about another awkward situation. He hadn’t seen her since that night in her car when they made out but he ended things before it got too far. ”I’m doing good, Isabella. You?”[/;color] He shifted a bit nervously as he nodded slowly. ”I have and I still don’t think I can represent you how you want.” Really he hadn’t thought more because of that very reason. And another. Jude cleared his throat as he looked around. ”And I don’t think it’s very professional after that night. And the fact I asked you for a personal favor concerning Natalie. Might be best if someone else handles it, you know?” His hands fiddled with his phone and keys that was in his pocket. ”Yeah it is. I hear the upstairs is just as nice.” More people were filing in and he caught sight of Natalie. She scowled at him and he winced. Apparently he hadn’t forgiven her for talking Isabella into having her talk to Michael. Jude had only thought it would help, not hinder things. Hopefully he could steal her away for a dance to smooth things over. If he asked her in front of her father, she really couldn’t say no. Pastor Owens loved Jude and he wasn’t being conceited. ”Speaking of Natalie she still seems pissed at me for having her go. Has she said anything to you?”

Post by DOMINIC ELI BANES on Mar 4, 2013 22:08:32 GMT -5
dominic still had a bit of a hard time attending weddings, though he always tried to hide that fact. it was getting easier, however, even a bit excited to go to leila and daniel's wedding. plus, it was everleigh's first time ever attending one, and she was pretty excited. she'd been talking about it almost none stop for the last couple weeks, but dominic didn't mind. it was adorable and he loved hearing her talk, no matter what it was about.
he got her ready for the big day, dressing her up fancy in a red and black dress with a matching coat and hat. dominic had on a black suit with a red tie, which thrilled everleigh, since they were coordinated. maybe it was a little cliche, since it was valentine's day, but it wasn't too big of a deal. he had also bought her little candy hearts and a pink and white stuffed animal, both of which she loved. everleigh liked anything pink as it was, but especially since it came from daddy. anything from daddy was always special.
dominic arrived at the wedding about fifteen minutes early. he wanted to get everleigh all situated before the ceremony started so she wouldn't disrupt anything. he handed their coats over, then picked her up, carrying her while he looked for seats for the two of them, or a friendly face. dominic would prefer to sit with someone he knew, but it wasn't a big deal if it was just he and everleigh.

Post by JACKSON XAVIER FORD on Mar 7, 2013 13:58:00 GMT -5
SO SHOW ME FAMILY tags;; open etc;; outfit, graphic credit ( SILVER TIE! ) @ caution 2.0 normally jackson wasn't excited in the least about weddings, and in fact, rarely went to them. they just weren't his thing, especially since he had no plans of ever getting married. but this one was different. his cousin and pretty much best friend, leila scott, was tying the knot. it didn't surprise him, since her now fiance, daniel, had gotten her pregnant. they probably would've got married, anyway, but no doubt would have waited a bit longer to do so. jackson didn't have issues with people having babies that weren't married, so he'd been happy for the two of them when he'd found out. the rest of the family? not so much. but they'd warmed up to the idea. slowly but surely.
jackson was just glad he'd never gotten a girl pregnant. at least, that he knew of. he wasn't ready to be a father and he in no way even wanted to be one. raising a kid seemed kind of scary to him, though he'd never admit that. jackson was smart enough to know he wouldn't make for a good father, though apparently not smart enough to stop sleeping around. of course, he was careful, so hopefully his luck wouldn't run out one of these days. even if it did he'd still find a way of weaseling out of his responsibilities. jackson was good at that.
he didn't have a lot of dress clothes. in fact, he'd had to go out and by everything that he was going to wear for the wedding. jackson didn't want to be typical and wear red or pink, since it was on valentine's day and most of the guests would probably be wearing just that. he found a dark purple shirt that he liked, then a black blazer that looked like it was made out of leather. he couldn't very well wear his real leather jacket to the wedding or leila would kill him, so this would have to make for a good substitute. the dress pants were easy, and then came the shoes, which looked more like boots. jackson was happy about that, too, since he wore boots most of the time. he didn't have any nice dress coats, so he had to get one of those, too.
the day of the wedding had arrived, his mom freaking out a bit as she hurried him to finish getting ready. she wasn't even half ready herself and jackson was nearly done. he didn't argue with her, though, just smiling and shaking his head as he went back to fixing his hair. he'd actually got it trimmed, a little. he liked his crazy hair, though taming it some for the wedding was probably a good idea. plus, it'd grow back in a few weeks, so he really wasn't worried about it. jackson slipped into his blazer then studied himself in the mirror, liking what he was seeing. he didn't really like dressing up, but this wasn't too bad. he pulled on socks and his new boots, then his watch. he checked the time, realizing they needed to get going if they were going to beat the majority of people there. jackson walked to his mom's room, grabbing his coat along the way, and knocked. she opened the door, looking beautiful, he thought, and got a shock when she saw her son. he'd kept his outfit a surprise to her, knowing she'd like the fact that he was cleaned up, for once. "whatta you think?" he asked her, smiling. "you look so handsome!" she exclaimed, pulling him into a tight hug. jackson had to chuckle a little. "thanks mom." he hugged her back, but not as tight as she was him, since he didn't want to put wrinkles in her dress. "you look amazing," he told her as she released him and he got to appraise her once more. she blushed a little and waved his compliment off, though he knew she liked hearing it. jackson had meant it, too. she always looked nice, of course, but this time she'd outdone herself.
he put his arm out for her and she took it. jackson was behaving a bit better today, maybe because he wanted to make it nice for his mom or the fact that he was happy for leila. of course, the side that everyone else saw was a bit different from how he behaved when he was around his family. jackson wasn't so sarcastic and cocky, but still had that same wit. maybe it was because they were the only ones that he could really be completely comfortable around. he walked her to the car, even opening the door for her, making her laugh as he acted out being a gentleman. yes, even his own mother had to laugh, since it definitely wasn't him. jackson got into the drivers seat, taking off towards the old firehouse, where the wedding was being held. they didn't have far to drive, maybe ten minutes. once there, he found it a bit hard to find a good parking spot, eventually dropping his mom off so she wouldn't have to walk so far, then drove farther away to find a spot. jackson pulled a cigarette and lighter out of his pocket as he walked back. he knew he wouldn't have long enough to even half way finish it, unless he stayed outside till he had, but it was pretty chilly out.
he walked up to the doors, dropping his cigarette and stamping it out before stepping inside. his mom was waiting for him just inside, her coat having already been taken. jackson handed his over as well, then pulled a stick of gum out and put it in his mouth. he nodded as she told him she was going to go find seats for them. he was going to do some exploring, however. the place was beautiful, decorated with tons of flowers and lights. jackson had to admit he was impressed, wondering how much it all cost. he walked around a bit, seeing a few people he knew, though he didn't chat with any one person for long. he wasn't about to admit to it, but he was hoping to run into natalie. he knew she'd be there and he wanted to see how beautiful she was looking.

Post by AUTUMN WYNTER SOMMER on Mar 7, 2013 19:56:28 GMT -5
Autumn had had so much fun hanging out with her best friend. They had been so rocky recently. Or so, Autumn had felt awkward. Luckily they had made it through the rough patches. It was good to see Natalie strong in body and mind, or at least, stronger than when she first met her. However, some of the things she went through had been... silly, Autumn thought at least.
Autumn had had so much fun having Natalie sleep over, it was a nice change of pace. Her family had loved her and it was pretty amusing watching Natalie walk around her, well mansion. It was quite a big home. Perks of being rich.
So Autumn had helped Natalie get ready, helping with her hair and letting her pick out an outfit from her massive closet, even told her she could keep it after the party if she wanted to. Autumn had so many clothes she could never possibly wear them all.
Deciding to wear a teal dress since red made her hair stick out even more and it always looked nice with her eyes. They dressed and took one of the nice cars to the old firehouse where the wedding was going to be. Her grandparents and mother would be arriving later. Being rich and powerful in this town, her family felt the need to be there for the townsfolk.
Autumn giggled as they wandered inside, paying their respects to Daniel and just taking in the sights. "Oh wow..." She murmured, glancing around the place. "Its so pretty... and I'm pretty sure they wouldn't even notice if some flowers say... went missing." She giggled and nudged her bestie. "We'll make you into a thief tonight on the way out."
She hooked her arm around Natalie's and grinned, "All right my lovely date. Lets get a good seat. I'm kind of short I don't want to miss out on anything."

Kitty sighed and stood in front of the mirror, checking herself out. She wasn't sure why she was going to this wedding. Some of her school friends were supposedly going and she had promised them she would show up and pay her respects at least. That one guy that had been stalking her was going to be there too. He was nice enough and she wouldn't mind hanging out with him. What was his name...? Oh right Maverick.
Kitty spun around once, knowing she was going to look so weird at a wedding but she couldn't help it, it was her style. She didn't like being fancy and fitting in. Honestly, she loved it but it wasn't probably something that would attract the boys. She was pretty sure Landon would be there but brothers didn't count.
Finally satisfied with her look, Kitty snuck out of her home, trying to keep quiet so not to wake up her mother. It was nice to get out and away from the depressing apartment. Maybe the party wouldn't be so bad. She hummed and walked all the way to the run down firehouse where she... slipped inside hopefully unnoticed and sat by herself in a corner, feeling for the first time in a long time, pretty. Kitty found it an odd feeling and was sure no one else felt the same way about her but... tough, as long as she was comfortable, that's all that matter... right? She glanced around and smiled softly at all the happy faces, trying real hard not to look for anyone specific.

whatever you want here--} ❂ ❂ ❂ ❂ ❂ Willow had spent a good three to four hours getting ready for the wedding. Unfortunately it wasn't because of her it was Madison. Madison had been awfully fussy all day and didn't want to dress up and leave the house for one reason or another. Willow someone managed to convince her and about half way to the Wedding, her attitude changed and she had gotten so excited to see all the people in their pretty outfits.
It was going to be a long night. Thankfully she wouldn't be able to stay long since Madison had a very strict bedtime and with how fussy she was being, she would need all the sleep she could use.
Willow and Madison arrived a little late but thankfully nothing had started just yet, people were still taking their seats and chatting with one another. Willow ushered her daughter through the crowd, going to find a seat near someone who they knew. Hopefully they would get through this. Weddings were suppose to be fun but Willow just found them depressing, it reminded her of the one she never got to have.
Luckily before she could think too much about it, she spotted a familiar face. "Oh Dominic!" She called, holding Madison's hand and walking over to the single father. "Its good to see you out and about."

Unlike everyone else Giovanna had been here since the wee hours of the morning. If she hadn't then she wouldn't be a damn good wedding planner. She is well aware on how important these days are for her clients, everyone has their imagination of a 'fairytail wedding' and she goes above and beyond to fufill the brides requests. Her business wasn't cheep, but one can't expect to cheep from a wedding planner. If someone wants cheep she recommands to just do it themselves. Sure she'd give them pointers on how to complete everything in time but Gia always suggests the brides to leave the worrying to her. All brides want is for everything to run smoothly. All she does is ask them what theme they want, what they don't want, and the time. Other than going with them for the venue, food, and picking out wedding dresses Gia does all the rest. Everything from picking out the decorations, making placement cards, and even to hiring security staff if its a couple of extreme wealth or fame.
She assisted with doing touch ups with the decorations and making sure that her staff and that hired staff were doing everything they needed to make this wedding perfect. Not once has she ever had a client complain and she wasn't going to start now. Leaving the location she changed into red, black, and silver strapless dress, fixed her long wavy hair, put makeup on, slipped on her black highheels and returned just before the first guests started coming in. Gia smiled to them as everyone began to gather. From doing the invitations she knew that the majority of the small town was going to show up. Perhaps she could make a few friends here since she lacks local ones and maybe she might pick up a few more clients through the evening, only time would tell.
Running her hand through her long brown, wavy hair she sighed when she was off to the side in her own bubble. Of course she loved weddings, hell it was her dream job to be doing what she's doing, but whenever she hosts weddings that have similar ideas to what she would do it stings a little. Sure she's not old, hell she's not even thirty yet, but Gia was born with a weak heart. If she is unable to recieve a heart transplant within the next ten or fifteen years the doctors don't predict her to live past forty so times a tickin to get out there and fall in love with someone and to pop out a few kids. But today is a day of happiness and shouldn't be spent on thinking about her own problems. Bitting her lower lip she walked to the back row of seats and sat in the chair closest to the isle. Placing her small black Coach wristlet in her lap she watched everyone coming in, minding her own business. Despite living her for the past few years she didn't know anyone, shes always too busy with work, hospital visits, and trying to catch up on sleep to have a normal life. Everything was in place for now until the reception, if anything were to go wrong her emploies knew to contact her imediately.

A wedding. Not your typical place to find Colton. Hell he always avoids them for the sake of not having to feel bad about himself. Yes the big bad exmarine, current cop does have a massive soft spot hidden underneath his many layers of tough guy. The only reason why he's even attending is because many of his fellow police officers have urged him to attend. They said that the whole town was going and that it would be frowned upon to not make an apperance. Sure he couldn't careless what other people think about him but he heard that the food being served was supurb and he never passes up a free meal. Although the main reason for not going is for fear of being set up with a woman he doesn't particularly care for. Everyone in the department and probably the town, knows about his wife and son dying. Its been over six years since the tragic event occured and he knows that its time to move on, to make another family since times a tickin and he ain't getting any younger but back in his mind he's afraid, afraid that no one could ever love him again and that if he has another family will something tragic happen to them too?
Not having anything fancy in his closet and not feeling like spending any last minute money on a suit for people he doesn't know he changed out of his police uniform into nice dark dress jeans and a black collered shirt with his deputy star pinned to the front, leasthe attempted to look a little dressed up. Depite the occassion he still didn't shave, he had the day prior but he decided to keep the five o'clock shadow on his face. Before leaving the house he left food and water for his dog in the kitchen, put black dress shoes on, and attached his hip gun holster. So what if he gets a few looks from disapproving people but he always likes to have a weapon on him, regardless of the occassion.
Colt arrived early to get a good seat, even though he already had an idea on where was best to put up post. A few people were already rushing to get inside. Seeing a few people he knows from work he greeted them kindly, spoke a few brief words then headed there himself. Chairs were being filled up rapidly by townsfolk. Eyes scanned the large area, just looking at everyone to remember faces just incase an emergancy were to ever occur. His level of alertness was always on high, not just due to his career but because of his time in the Marines. Being attentive and ready for action at a moments notice is instilled into him. Steady footfalls brought him to the far corner chair in the far back. The spot was perfect, it allowed him to see everything all at once.
